After warming up on city streets, we entered and exited freeways many times (during rush hour!) to practice merging, lane changes, and adjusting from highway driving back to city streets. I felt completely safe at all times. Michael gave me very practical instruction on checking the blind spot, watching for pedestrians, defensive driving, etc. The lesson cost $220. For my situation (licensed but inexperienced driver), one lesson was all I needed.

He is incredibly experienced and knowledgeable in what he does and on top of that, has a fantastic personality as well! I can proudly say that after only 6 lessons with Michael, I was able to pass my driving test and get my license!!! I also liked that this company in particular was incredibly easy to book an appointment with! others I found were booked out too far in advance. they also always showed up on time and used the full lesson time. My daughter took approximately 6-7 lessons with Daniel, paying around $180 per lesson. (Driver test day 250$$$) Throughout the entire process, she repeatedly came home frustrated, saying that much of the lesson time was spent talking rather than providing actual driving instruction and technical guidance. As a parent, I trusted that a professional instructor would be preparing her for success behind the wheel and for her driving test. What concerned me most was the timing and professionalism. After multiple paid lessons, Daniel suddenly suggested that my daughter might be better suited to a female instructor shortly before her driving test. If that was truly his professional assessment, it should have been communicated much earlier--not after weeks of lessons and hundreds of dollars spent. Instead of helping build confidence, my daughter felt increasingly nervous and discouraged. There were several interactions that left her feeling criticized rather than coached. A driving instructor's role is to teach, guide, and prepare students for success, especially when they are already anxious about an upcoming test. I cannot recommend Daniel based on our experience. We invested substantial time and money, yet received very little meaningful instruction compared to what we expected. Parents looking for a driving instructor should carefully consider whether they are receiving actual training, constructive feedback, and professional communication throughout the process. I hope this review helps other families make an informed decision before committing their hard-earned money.

When I met Rita for the first time, she made me feel so welcome and comfortable and confident with learning how to drive a vehicle safely with adaptive controls and after several lessons with Rita, she felt confident that I could safely drive a vehicle and pass the DMV driving with adapter controls installed on my cars. On June 5, 2025 I was given an appointment date with the DMV for a driving test with an examiner and I had a successful outcome I " PASSED" the driving test not driving a vehicle for one year and 10 months.The knowledge and experience that Rita help develop within myself allowed me to pass this driving test and I made one mistake. I turned too wide when departing the DMV parking lot and I got dinged for that but the DMV examiner wrote on his supplemental driving performance evaluation score sheet I am a very safe driver thank you so much, Rita you are an amazing, professional, and caring, helpful instructor. He's got that middle aged Bay Area Filipino humor and he's very thorough and clear on what to do and how to drive. The lessons were comprehensive but not overwhelming. I think the best highlight of his lessons were the places we went. He and I drove from SF to San Mateo and back, and there was always a way to cram in practice on subjects like knowing what to do at an area with few stop signs or driving on the freeway. A very honest recommendation for people that want to learn driving.
