His next two lessons were with Steve, who was very professional and got him on the freeway and helped him with preparing for the exam including backing up. We purchased a 6-hour lesson package for our child and called to schedule the first lesson. The appointment was confirmed with a specific date and time. Simple enough--or so we thought. On the day of the lesson, the scheduled time came and went. After waiting 30 minutes with no instructor and no communication, I called the office. They had no idea where the instructor was and told me they would call to find out. Fifteen minutes passed without a callback, so I called them again. That's when they casually told me, "Oh, the instructor wasn't feeling well and decided to go home." Seriously? Not a single person thought to call us before the lesson to let us know the instructor wasn't coming. Instead, they were perfectly content to let us sit there waiting indefinitely until *we* called them. And after supposedly contacting the instructor, they still couldn't be bothered to call us back. We had to chase them down a second time just to learn what had happened. The most disappointing part was how they handled the situation afterward. There was a meek apology, no attempt to find another instructor, no effort to accommodate us, and no ownership of their mistake. We were simply told that they're busy and the next available lesson would be in three weeks. And oh yea, they also said, it's busy everywhere so that's that....now do you want a refund or what? In other words: **their scheduling failure became our problem.** At that point, I requested a refund. Hopefully, processing that is more organized than scheduling a lesson. If this is how the front office handles something as basic as communicating a cancellation, I'd be very hesitant to trust them with anything more important. Customer service isn't just about being polite--it's about respecting your customers' time. Unfortunately, that seems to be completely missing here.

We were willing to pay additional funds to help our daughter competently manage the responsibility of a car. We paid for 82 hours of lessons beginning 6/18/25 to 10/18/25. All of our payments were made directly by request to Mack (real name: Mohsen Khaziri) and not Beverly Driving School. The number on his website is his cell phone. Mohsen was aware our daughter had learning disabilities and we were convinced he had the training and skills to help someone like her. Knowing that he was a father gave us even more confidence that she would get the security she needed. And the fact that we invested a significant sum of money is a testimony to our commitment to get her the help she needed. On our initiative, my wife and I did ride-alongs with Mack and our daughter because we put our trust in him as a professional. When our daughter started giving us feedback that her motivation for continuing was lacking, we didn't take it too seriously since it's been a challenge for her to stick with things. Later, we realized the discomfort wasn't the process but was with Mack. Our daughter told us she was touched inappropriately on multiple occasions. He repeatedly asked to meet with her outside of lessons and requested it be kept secret. I confronted Mack by phone on 10/18/25 and after asking directly, he acknowledged viewing pictures of her on her phone. I also asked him directly about touching her thigh and he said yes - apparently because she moved her seat too far forward. Lastly, I asked him if he had ever behaved inappropriately and he denied it. He did not apologize for any of this but changed the subject to her upcoming driving test. My wife and I have taken further steps with the police about this. We filed police report P25-291-0621 with SJPD Officer D. Tran #5131. He took advantage of a person with learning disabilities and it doesn't matter what age. It was one of the most deplorable things one can do. It was done from a position of immaturity and he could have told us this was going on but he didn't say a word. We do not want this behavior to be repeated with anyone else. In addition, at the end of summer, Mack also asked us for a significant cash advance because he "needed it". We refused. I also repeatedly asked for billing statements and after repeated entreaties, received a hastily typed word document. I'm still waiting for a summarized statement of our lessons.

He is probably the best instructor in the Bay Area, and he will get you confidently driving in no time! I did 9 lessons with Alan over a period of 1 month, and he took me from being not very confident (after trying out three lessons a different instructor) to passing my test and driving well on the freeway! This was done with zero practice in between lessons. Alan is extremely professional, is always on time, and delivers same day feedback. He also tailors his teaching style to the student's learning style, and is keen on understanding his students' thought process if mistakes are made, so they can be properly fixed. For every single weakness I had in my driving, Alan had a strategy to fix it - this included fixing my turning speed, correctly using my mirrors, lane positioning and keeping the wheel straight. He is adept at observing to see exactly what the student is doing wrong and coming up with a formula to correct it. Additionally, he is extremely professional. He was always punctual and polite, never raised his voice and never did anything that diminished my confidence in any way as a student who was initially struggling. I have always had some anxiety about driving, but I actually looked forward to my lessons because I started to enjoy driving as I could feel myself improving. On the day of the lesson, he made sure that I was confident and encouraged me not to feel anxious, and I was happy to pass on my first try. Scheduling is also easy on the website, and the response rate is fast. If you need to learn how to drive, you can't go wrong with Alan at Perfect Score!

Someone in my class did get kicked from the class, but I can say with 100% certainty, they were just trying to keep the rider safe and the rest of us safe. With that being said, I do recommend getting a little bit of time on a bike before going to the class is it's possible for you. But if not, the course is designed for beginners, so don't worry. Again, Mike and Mycah are AWESOME at what they do! I will most likely be signing up for the advanced course eventually. -Matt

**Repost from Google**…read more Just got done with the beginner course, so here are my fresh thoughts. First, I'm not sure if this applies to every class scheduled here, but the class I took was scheduled to start before the dealership opened. Our instructors mentioned that not only does the state mandate that students be on time, but so does the dealership. As such, don't expect much if any leeway when it comes to starting times. The instructors gave us a fair bit of grace on little things throughout the course, so this doesn't reflect on them at all. It's just the reality of the business structure. Be on time or risk losing your money. Second, I want to mention a major concern I had going into the course. The minimum recommended height for this location was 5'4" because of the bikes used. I'm a stocky 5'4" male with a relatively short inseam. I find most non-cruisers to be tall and intimidating. I would've taken the course at the other Golden State Moto location, but their classroom sessions are done over Zoom, followed by a short break and then range time. For personal scheduling reasons, I didn't want to risk arriving late to the range, so I much preferred the in-person format at this Harley-Davidson location. However, that came with using the bigger bikes. I'm happy to report that I was just fine on them. I couldn't flat-foot the bikes, but I wasn't completely tippy-toed either. Being overweight actually helped for once, because my body compressed the suspension enough for it to be perfectly comfortable. If you're shorter than 5'4" or perhaps really light, you may seriously want to consider the other location. However, I think whoever settled on that 5'4" recommendation really nailed it. As for the course, it was better than I could have imagined. Specifically, our instructors, Prema and Tony, were outstanding. Have you ever thought to yourself, "Wow, this person is clearly in the right field"? Well, I thought that countless times throughout the course. These guys do not phone it in, and they have eyes like hawks. They were so good at deconstructing what felt to me were pretty complex scenarios. I would often take a stab at an exercise, feel a little off doing it, and not quite understand the precise things that went into making it happen that way. As I then pulled up to the instructors, they would point out several key little details they noticed, often from impressive distances or angles. Every single time, I would think back to what I did and immediately recognize their feedback was 100% spot on. I don't know how they do it, but if you're willing to really soak up the feedback, they will absolutely improve your riding tremendously, especially as a complete beginner. I think our class was entirely beginners, and everyone improved tremendously throughout the 2 days. I also really appreciated how much of a dynamic duo our instructors were. Tony's a bit older with more dirt and trail experience, while Prema is younger with more track experience. It was super helpful to get feedback from both of them because they offered different perspectives, but what they both had in common were the fundamentals that the Total Control program really emphasizes. If you're really anxious about getting lots of detailed feedback and being pushed out of your comfort zone, this class might not be ideal for you, but then again, riding demands a lot from people, and the asphalt won't coddle you. I'll close out by saying that I was honestly a bit surprised by the learning curve of riding a motorcycle. Sure, you can scrape by, get your license, and immediately fly down the highway on a liter bike. But if I'm being honest, this still feels like just the beginning. I passed and still wouldn't feel comfortable fully committing to street riding without additional parking lot practice. As a father of a young child, I care very much about safety, so I hope everyone will be realistic in their expectations of how much can be learned from just 2 days in a parking lot.

My main instructor was booked out and also went on vacation, so I thought I would miss the chance to take my test. I found Bay Hill on Yelp and decided to book them for two things: 1. A two hour crash course in preparation of my test. 2. Vehicle rental for the test + 30 minute prep before. The two hour crash course was perfect. My instructor was calm, gave great instructions and made it so easy to feel comfortable behind the wheel. He was able to frame things that I needed work on in a way that I was able to process and internalize. By the end, he had me Feeling confident going into my big day. The day of my test, I met with JP at the DMV 45 minutes before my appointment. He walked me through the car I rented and what to expect for pre-test check (which was exactly how it went down, so I was well prepared for it.). Then we did some practice runs of the test route while JP very detailedly pointed out things I need to do and what examiners will look for during the test. Then he lined up with me until it was my turn.
