Our first interaction with A-Z Driving School was with Erin, she was very helpful and thoroughly went over all the options of service they provide. The prices are fair, they offer continuously flexible session times, and their cars are clean and recent models. A-Z's driving instructors are professional, patient and exude great communication and experience to teach effectively. We'd like to extend special thanks to Erin, Dillion and Anita. His next two lessons were with Steve, who was very professional and got him on the freeway and helped him with preparing for the exam including backing up. A few months later, we got two more lessons (4 hours). Erin again was a great help in helping schedule. He had another lesson with Steve. He also had another instructor Katie, also professional and helped him with parking and other areas he requested more practice with. My son passed his driving exam today on the first try. The foundations provided to him definitely helped. I've recommended A-Z to other parents looking for lessons.

She is very professional in her work and always made sure to demonstrate or explain anything where I needed more clarity. Every lesson felt productive and informative, and I got many opportunities to handle different road situations, which made me feel much more confident behind the wheel. He is probably the best instructor in the Bay Area, and he will get you confidently driving in no time! I did 9 lessons with Alan over a period of 1 month, and he took me from being not very confident (after trying out three lessons a different instructor) to passing my test and driving well on the freeway! This was done with zero practice in between lessons. Alan is extremely professional, is always on time, and delivers same day feedback. He also tailors his teaching style to the student's learning style, and is keen on understanding his students' thought process if mistakes are made, so they can be properly fixed. For every single weakness I had in my driving, Alan had a strategy to fix it - this included fixing my turning speed, correctly using my mirrors, lane positioning and keeping the wheel straight. He is adept at observing to see exactly what the student is doing wrong and coming up with a formula to correct it. Additionally, he is extremely professional. He was always punctual and polite, never raised his voice and never did anything that diminished my confidence in any way as a student who was initially struggling. I have always had some anxiety about driving, but I actually looked forward to my lessons because I started to enjoy driving as I could feel myself improving. On the day of the lesson, he made sure that I was confident and encouraged me not to feel anxious, and I was happy to pass on my first try. Scheduling is also easy on the website, and the response rate is fast. If you need to learn how to drive, you can't go wrong with Alan at Perfect Score!

Someone in my class did get kicked from the class, but I can say with 100% certainty, they were just trying to keep the rider safe and the rest of us safe. With that being said, I do recommend getting a little bit of time on a bike before going to the class is it's possible for you. But if not, the course is designed for beginners, so don't worry. Again, Mike and Mycah are AWESOME at what they do! I will most likely be signing up for the advanced course eventually. -Matt

**Repost from Google**…read more Just got done with the beginner course, so here are my fresh thoughts. First, I'm not sure if this applies to every class scheduled here, but the class I took was scheduled to start before the dealership opened. Our instructors mentioned that not only does the state mandate that students be on time, but so does the dealership. As such, don't expect much if any leeway when it comes to starting times. The instructors gave us a fair bit of grace on little things throughout the course, so this doesn't reflect on them at all. It's just the reality of the business structure. Be on time or risk losing your money. Second, I want to mention a major concern I had going into the course. The minimum recommended height for this location was 5'4" because of the bikes used. I'm a stocky 5'4" male with a relatively short inseam. I find most non-cruisers to be tall and intimidating. I would've taken the course at the other Golden State Moto location, but their classroom sessions are done over Zoom, followed by a short break and then range time. For personal scheduling reasons, I didn't want to risk arriving late to the range, so I much preferred the in-person format at this Harley-Davidson location. However, that came with using the bigger bikes. I'm happy to report that I was just fine on them. I couldn't flat-foot the bikes, but I wasn't completely tippy-toed either. Being overweight actually helped for once, because my body compressed the suspension enough for it to be perfectly comfortable. If you're shorter than 5'4" or perhaps really light, you may seriously want to consider the other location. However, I think whoever settled on that 5'4" recommendation really nailed it. As for the course, it was better than I could have imagined. Specifically, our instructors, Prema and Tony, were outstanding. Have you ever thought to yourself, "Wow, this person is clearly in the right field"? Well, I thought that countless times throughout the course. These guys do not phone it in, and they have eyes like hawks. They were so good at deconstructing what felt to me were pretty complex scenarios. I would often take a stab at an exercise, feel a little off doing it, and not quite understand the precise things that went into making it happen that way. As I then pulled up to the instructors, they would point out several key little details they noticed, often from impressive distances or angles. Every single time, I would think back to what I did and immediately recognize their feedback was 100% spot on. I don't know how they do it, but if you're willing to really soak up the feedback, they will absolutely improve your riding tremendously, especially as a complete beginner. I think our class was entirely beginners, and everyone improved tremendously throughout the 2 days. I also really appreciated how much of a dynamic duo our instructors were. Tony's a bit older with more dirt and trail experience, while Prema is younger with more track experience. It was super helpful to get feedback from both of them because they offered different perspectives, but what they both had in common were the fundamentals that the Total Control program really emphasizes. If you're really anxious about getting lots of detailed feedback and being pushed out of your comfort zone, this class might not be ideal for you, but then again, riding demands a lot from people, and the asphalt won't coddle you. I'll close out by saying that I was honestly a bit surprised by the learning curve of riding a motorcycle. Sure, you can scrape by, get your license, and immediately fly down the highway on a liter bike. But if I'm being honest, this still feels like just the beginning. I passed and still wouldn't feel comfortable fully committing to street riding without additional parking lot practice. As a father of a young child, I care very much about safety, so I hope everyone will be realistic in their expectations of how much can be learned from just 2 days in a parking lot.

I'm a freshly 20 year old female without any experience behind the wheel, and I mean any!! Unfortunately, my nerves got the best of me during my first lesson and I freaked out. I caused myself and my instructor some stress, and sadly I was unmotivated to drive for a while. Before I left a negative review, I contacted Bay Hill's through email. They made things right and scheduled my second appointment with JP, and he was fantastic! I went from shaking like a leaf behind the wheel to having genuine confidence in 2 hours-- No exaggeration! We drove around and shared a heartfelt conversation, in which he also shared some tips on lane switching and turns. Halfway through our session, we stopped for water and stretches, so I knew my comfortability was respected. The negative reviews on this business are so upsetting. This is an excellent Asian-owned, woman-owned small business with so much diversity on their staff. If your first lesson goes awry, contact them!!! I knew the basics when it came to networking, Gpu,cpu, mobo, ssd you know all the components you would expect to learn about But the thing is, I barely knew anything Because they really taught us anything. Just enough to take our money The rest of the coursework was solely based off the comptia book and a few spreadsheets they gave to us but that was it ! , I can't speak for how it is now ?
