Wow, I've lived in Columbus for how long and never realized this place existed! Following my GPS to get here, at first I was thinking I was going to the wrong place. A bowling alley in the middle of a neighborhood wasn't anything what I was expecting. We came here for some adult birthday celebrations and some well, you guess it, karaoke! j/k, some bowling... but there was some Karaoke taking place afterwards. While leagues were finishing up, we hung out in the game room and played some ping pong and corn-hole. I liked the game room, they also have darts when corn hole and ping pong are moved out of the way. Bowling was great, even though I'm not great. It was a really modern scoring system with some fun gimmicky stuff. If I was a better bowler, I would probably sign up for a league, as the crowd that was here looked to be enjoying every part of it. We wanted to take our kids bowling and get pizza so we called on Monday. The person said that Monday was league night, but we could come on Tuesday to bowl. We drove there on Tuesday (half an hour with rush hour traffic) and got to the desk. "Sorry, Tuesday is league night, too." League night means that they have exactly ZERO lanes free. Apparently every night is league night from 5-9pm except for some weekends, but he wasn't sure which ones off the top of his head. The schedule may be different during other times of the year, but the fall is not a good time for non-league bowlers to go. It looked like a decent place to bowl and other reviews of the food are positive. Too bad we couldn't actually try it out and that their staff don't know their own schedule. read more

Sequoia is a FUN place to be! The only place my husband I go to bowl. Nestled in a neighborhood, it is an oasis...where food is good, beers cold, and the bar is perfect for watching your favorite sports before or after bowling... or if not a bowler to simply have a cocktail. The staff is welcoming and look to assist in any way. Great place for a party...birthday, employee gathering or just because. We had a "just because" party for 20 people. The prices were right and a fun time had by all...because everyone loves to go bowling! read more

Recently bowled in a tournament there and my new(12 or 13 games) bowling ball was destroyed. It has 2 gigantic chunks missing out of it, they are about an inch apart and right in the middle of the track. I spoke to the Asst Manager (Kelly)the day it happened and he was unable to make a determination as to how this situation would be resolved but assured me the Owner/Manager would be in contact with me within the next day. Waited a few days didn't hear anything from anyone so I called back, this time the Asst Manager(Kelly) informed me that during the summertime the Owner/Manager is rarely in. A complete contradiction to what I was told a few days prior. Its now the 5th day and still no word from anyone from the bowling center and I'm still out a $200 plus bowling ball (not including drilling, finger grips and thumb insert which I'm sure I will have to pay again!!c). I'm not sure what is more upsetting the ball being destroyed or being ignored by the staff in getting this problem resolved..... Update... Since my last post I have recieved an email from the owner and a phone call from the pro shop stating that they have a new ball to replace the one that was damaged and the owner explained that there was just a breakdown in the communication between him and the person he thought was gonna call me. I greatly appreciate the quick response to my post and I am completely satisfied with this resolution. Thank you very much. read more

I have one complaint and that it is difficult to find. I grew up in Westerville and I have never heard of the place. What can I say friendly staff, clean well kept facilities, new shoes, and decent food for the money. Prices are reasonable. I was pleasantly suprised by the place. I will definately come back with my family and I will recommend it to others. read more

This place may be good if you want to bowl with friends but if you care about the quality of lanes, avoid this place.

We love spending office nights at Sequoia Pro Bowl -- in the summer, the sand volleyball is a perfect way to unwind and spend some quality time together as a company. And the service is great! read more

I've been going to the Friday night karaoke here consistently over the past year and have never had an issue until last night. During karaoke last night in the middle of me performing a song a random fight started infront of the stage. Now I don't know who started it nor did I know the people involved who happened to be predominantly black. So because a fight started while I was singing my song which was a love ballad (which should not provoke these types of actions from others in the bar), I was told I could not perform again because the DJ felt that I had something to do with the fight and had some sort of involvement. I am a black woman and instantly it became apparent to me that the only LOGICAL reason that I would not be able to perform again according to what she told me was that I was guilty by association. That association was the color of my skin. Now after I made it VERY clear to this DJ that I had nothing to do with it and was offended that she even THOUGHT this, asked me not to sing anymore, but allowed others to finish their songs, I got to sing again but only because she probably felt "bad" or just didn't want to get in trouble for accusing me for something I didn't do all because I happened to be black like most everyone involved in the altercation. I will NEVER come here again and I hope that someone sees this and gives some feedback to that DJ that she should stop stereotyping and stick to who she actually saw involved in the altercation before she asks people to leave or remove them from her stage. read more

Awesome place to bowl! We bowled for two hours with shoes after 9 on Wednesday. You can play darts, cornhole, and ping pong in the bar while you wait, which is a fun touch. They have a great little bar/restaurant that is very reasonably priced and the quality of food is much higher than you'd expect at a bowling alley. Highly recommend! read more

Sequoia Pro Bowl - that is where I found myself as a spectator among friends who bowl in league play. They were having a hugely great time bowling and Sequoia seemed to deliver on all fronts. I checked out some of the Lane's daily/nightly specials and saw plenty to be excited about if I were a bowler. One promotion was the Sunday Breakfast special for $15 all you can bowl with breakfast thrown in. Unbelievable. I spent part of my visit walking around the place and found variety at every turn. A very solid pub environment separated from the lanes; a dart room with multiple boards; a kids game area; a solid little short-order grille that had small diner-style seating if you wanted to, again, get away from the lanes. The league play was having fun; buckets of bottled beers, mixed drinks. I was a non-drinker but ordered the fish nuggets with fries as a basket dinner.... Yum Yum! Sequoia Pro Bowl Lanes is not hard to find IF IF IF you have a GPS system. Otherwise you might think you're going the wrong way. Seriously, Sequoia is tucked in a neighborhood area and given I went at night... I thought I was not going the correct pathway. But there it was. Bowling is a great family sport/game. Sequoia Pro Bowl would be a good visit. read more

This is my favorite bowling alley in Columbus. their new automated scoring system has some fun games. You can even post your scores to Facebook! They have great food and a great bar. In the summer, they have sand volleyball and a great outside tiki bar! It's a one stop place for a night of entertainment. read more

Came here with my husband for date night. The food was ok, not fantastic and the pizza smelled a little funny too. Played a couple games, but then our lane malfunctioned and stopped returning our balls. After mentioning this to the woman at the register, she preceded to eat and walk back and forth while we waited for someone to fix the machine. Well about 30 minutes later, still no service. No one even came over to check with us or even move us to another lane. Their customer service sucked! They were really rude and disrespectful. Doubt I will be returning to this place. read more
