The beautiful fresh produce complimented the expertly cooked and seasoned proteins. There wasn't a single thing we ate that we didn't enjoy. In between meals, we made sure to stay active to earn our appetite. The property offers access to great trails in the Smokies which we took advantage of as well as a lovely outdoor pool with a view. The room itself was pleasant as well. It was hard to leave the luxurious king bed every morning. The heated floors in the bathroom and the comfy sitting area made our Holly Springs cottage suite the perfect home base. We were also assigned our own golf cart to get around the property (although we chose to walk mostly to take in the views). Service was top notch and the staff were wonderful. Every evening they surprised us with a little treat for our anniversary which was very thoughtful. We couldn't have asked for a better stay!

We decided to take the plunge and we are so happy we did. It's a 3 night minimum and frankly a great idea to take it all in. We enjoyed the following activities ; Fly Fishing, wine tasting , the spa , a farm tour , & tomato tasting. All were spectacular and unique to themselves. The culinary experience is nothing short of a Michelin experience for dinner. The price is all inclusive , sans your alcohol. The service is world class and the staff makes you feel so welcome. Whether it's a special occasion or a bucket list item , I would say it's a must in your lifetime !! Side note- We thought this would be a one and done. Website on Facebook says beautiful lake views, but all you see is docks and buildings from 95% of the sites, however they will charge you premium prices for the ugly views. They also say full hookups for electric water and sewer, but half the sites don't have sewer hookups. Owner offers to pump out the sewer maunally, but only when its convenient for him, not when you need it. Owners read the electric meters but do not offer a bill for your usage, and can't remember the reads when asked for verification. These owners don't xare about the enjoyment of the renters only the money put into their pockets. There are much better camping places on Watts Bar lake that offer lower prices and a real family experience.

We weren't able to make it through the front gate into the campground with our vehicles. The road…read moreleading in requires a sharp, 90 degree turn to the right onto a 12ish foot concrete drive passing over a culvert, between two gate posts. There's a drop-off on both sides of the concrete pad. To the left, you have a steep mountain, preventing you from swinging wide and lining up your trailer tires. Anything long and on a hitch/fifth wheel/gooseneck is going to struggle to make it through the front gate. We are 63' when hitched and my husband is skilled at navigating tight turns and spaces. When our trailer tilted 45 degrees because its tires were headed into the culvert, and our dually was as close to the left gate post as possible, our cortisol spiked and we had to leave. This was particularly surprising because we had shared our length at the time of booking. I did scout ahead in a regular car upon our arrival, and it was pretty and peaceful. We would have loved to have stayed, but even the size of the sites and hilly terrain inside the campground made me nervous in a big rig. If you are small, you will have a great time. I share this so no one else in a 44ft fifth wheel or even a long Class A with a tow-behind has to try to find alternate camping at at the last minute in this small town. Scout it out before booking.

After advising the front desk, I was moved to another room, which was better. The shower appeared to be coming apart and the ceiling was beginning to mildew; there was no smell. Other than this, the room was fine. Lastly, the restaurant. The food was decent. The salad bar was fresh and the trout was a tad salty. The lobster mac-n-cheese was pretty good. The views were wonderful, given it's in the mountains. All and all, my stay was fine, nothing to make me return, but I always say, make your own decision.

Worst of all, the resort we signed up for is closing due to bankruptcy, yet Wyndham still refuses to cancel our contract. Good luck trying to contact this company. Our letters go ignored, and phone calls yield no progress and we are constantly given the runaround. Paulina, Maria, and Tamarah have been no help when we have spoken to them- only excuses and empty promises that lead to no resolution. Buyers beware: They are quick to lie to you to take your money, but they will ignore you and hold you to a contract even when the property itself is defunct.
