Wanted to do a quick getaway from Atlanta and chose tranquille resort. We decided to come and stay…read morefor two week nights as the prices were cheaper and with the wifi, we could work as well. It's only about a 2hr drive from where I am but there was a bit of traffic getting out of atlanta on a wed afternoon when we left so we didn't get in till dark. I called to say we might miss the office check in hours (till 6pm) so they kindly left the key in the cabin for us for whenever we arrived which was very helpful. The rooms were clean and kitchen and bathroom had pretty much everything you needed. We also utilized the charcoal grill. Only complaint was the lighting was a tad dark during the night but maybe it's to help you relax. Loved the view of the lake from the cabin, it was beautiful to wake up to. We were also able to bring our dog for a $60 fee. House rule does say no dog on bed so keep that in mind. There was a little doggy station on site and we were able to walk him around the property to potty. He enjoyed his stay and we liked going to the nearby trials in the morning/afternoon for a hike. There's an ingles nearby as well as some other restaurants if you need food options like McDonald's, Dunkin, couple of Pizza chains, and whatever a small town typically has to offer. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

All needed kitchen utensils, appliances and housewares are available. A dishwasher and full-size washer and dryer round out everything needed for a longer stay. Did I mention the view? Start or finish the day on the back porch gazing at the mountains and Lake Chatuge. We are planning to be back during the summer to take advantage of the boat docks, on-site canoe rental, kids playhouse and a cool swim in the lake. Did I mention the staff? Everyone( Greg the owner, Jennifer the manager, Vicki and another young lady) made sure that our stay was comfortable

The beautiful fresh produce complimented the expertly cooked and seasoned proteins. There wasn't a single thing we ate that we didn't enjoy. In between meals, we made sure to stay active to earn our appetite. The property offers access to great trails in the Smokies which we took advantage of as well as a lovely outdoor pool with a view. The room itself was pleasant as well. It was hard to leave the luxurious king bed every morning. The heated floors in the bathroom and the comfy sitting area made our Holly Springs cottage suite the perfect home base. We were also assigned our own golf cart to get around the property (although we chose to walk mostly to take in the views). Service was top notch and the staff were wonderful. Every evening they surprised us with a little treat for our anniversary which was very thoughtful. We couldn't have asked for a better stay!

We decided to take the plunge and we are so happy we did. It's a 3 night minimum and frankly a great idea to take it all in. We enjoyed the following activities ; Fly Fishing, wine tasting , the spa , a farm tour , & tomato tasting. All were spectacular and unique to themselves. The culinary experience is nothing short of a Michelin experience for dinner. The price is all inclusive , sans your alcohol. The service is world class and the staff makes you feel so welcome. Whether it's a special occasion or a bucket list item , I would say it's a must in your lifetime !! Side note- We thought this would be a one and done. However, the level of experience and ability to unplug was extremely therapeutic. Hope you enjoy the review by LIKING it and sharing feedback :).

The initial booking interaction with the front office manager was excellent, and she went out of her way to make sure we were familiarized with the property, how to get in and out of the coded gate, and where to find our documents/keys, etc. as we were checking in late upon arrival. The cabin was beautiful, if not a tad outdated in the typical "Gatlinburg mountain-style" motif, and was settled nicely by itself without an immediate neighbor, so we felt very comfortable, secluded, and able to fully relax - the ideal weekend getaway environment! What was even better was the pricing. Our cabin was a 2 bedroom, 3 bath, fully stocked kitchen with all appliances, dishware, silverware, etc, and a living room area with 2 couches, a lounge chair, including a flat panel with tv access, and all across 2 stories. Everything was very well cleaned, the loft area was beautiful, and even had an in-room whirlpool-jetted tub. Everything they said they'd do, they did. Great service, nice location very close to the Fall Creek Falls State Park, and within 15 mins either way of the nearest town for additional options. Overall, we'd most certainly visit here again the next time we're looking for a hike along the beautiful falls nearby!

Blackberry Mountain has been on my bucket list for a very long time so I was thrilled my husband…read moreand I made it for a 5 day getaway (sans kids). After a quick 1.5 hour flight from Chicago and a 40 min drive from the Knoxville airport (Blackberry will arrange transportation from the airport) we found ourselves enjoying 5500 gorgeous acres just perfect for relaxation and activities. Facilities: - We stayed in one of the watchman cabins on the top of the mountain. It was a drive from the main lodge, but they give you a golf cart to check in and it's about a 15 minute ride in your golf cart. You can also call for a lexus ride (they have a partnership) for a quick 5 minute ride, which we also found convenient when raining. Our cabin was luxurious and cozy. We had a lovely deck, comfortable bed, warm shower with great water pressure and it was just steps away from a hot tub. No TV in our room, but didn't feel like we needed one for this type of vacation. We did have a leak in our room when it rained, but appreciated that they came right up to fix it and made a slight adjustment to the cost of our room for that night. Complimentary Activities we enjoyed: - Morning hike: my husband liked it so much he went 3 days in row and i liked it the one time i went. it was an hour long and intermediate. I planned to do my own workout after, but felt like it was enough of a workout on it's own. - Workout classes: the gym looked amazing, but I'm a class gal. I enjoyed a pilates class and also got my butt kicked in a tabata trx class. I was the only one who showed up for tabata so had a private and the instructor (Michael) was great - Pickleball courts: We played on our own and also played with another couple who happened to be there. I looked into a last min tennis lesson, but they needed more notice since the instructors live over an hour away - Adult pool: The most gorgeous view and it was never too crowded. We also ate lunch here since we felt like it was lighter next to our daily heavy (but delicious) breakfasts and dinners. - Hiking: Our favorite was the double loop that started by the firetower. It took about 1.5 hours and was a little steep, but a great trail and workout. Activities we signed up for: - Off roading: brought me back to my high school days. They have their own off roading obstacle course, which was pretty impressive. They gave us a lexus and a great guide and it was a few hours of shaky fun! - Spa: absolutely loved my hydrafacial (and i normally hate facials) and massage - Clay shooting: my husband went when i went to the spa and said it was so much fun - Horseback riding: sadly it started to rain when we were leaving to meet our horses, but we made our way to the stables and petted/took pics with some beautiful horses. Will have to ride them next time! Meals: The food was so good and so heavy (lots of salt and butter, but in a good way). We enjoyed ourselves a little too much and I came home 5 lbs heavier, but the dinners were pretty incredible. We ate at both Three Sisters and Firetower (the only options) and while we preferred the views at Firetower I thought the food was great at both. I'll be dreaming about the flatbread appetizer at both restaurants and everything from the fish to meat to desserts were delicious. They also do a great job of helping you choose cocktails/wines to compliment your food. Breakfast is at three sister and also pretty amazing. We preferred eating a large breakfast (post hike), light lunch at the pool and then ending our evening with a 3 course dinner. Service: The best! Everyone who works here was beyond helpful and accommodating. We would park our golf cart and notice it was charged for us within minutes. They really go the extra mile to make sure you're enjoying your stay! We did check out Blackberry Farm while there as well. From what we heard Mountain is a little bit more casual, has more activities and a few less sticks of butter in the food. If we were to go back I think we'd prioritize Mountain again since we loved it so much, but may opt for a few nights at the Farm as well. Summer weather: I'm sure this changes by the day, but in mid July we had 80s and a daily storm. I think I'd go in the fall next time because I'm sure the fall colors would be just gorgeous...and it may be a little cooler/less rainy, but July was fine and easier to get away when one of our three kids was at camp ----- It's truly a perfect vacation spot and this luxury doesn't come cheap. My husband and I both agreed that it was worth it and we hope to be back one day!

I cannot say enough good things about this place! We stayed in "Lake my Day" (LOVE the fun names…read morethey give the rooms) Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The bed and bedding were absolutely luxurious! Our own private deck with a full size, well functioning hot tub was why we rented this place to begin with. And it did not disappoint. Our hot tub cover was done, water logged and difficult for one person to take off, but thats fixable.... And did not deter our enjoyable time at all. We star gazed from the hot tub. The morning was just as good. I got up at Sunrise and sat in that tub water the wild life. The small villas have privacy screen walls for the decks. The two end units are more open without privacy screens on the corners. There is a one time cleaning fee so if you stay more than 1 night, the cost is VERY affordable. I very much wish we had just rented this place the WHOLE time we were in TN. I am sad to leave. This was a perfect jumping off ground to the Great Smokey Mountains and Knoxville. The owner was delightful, easy to work with and i am thrilled they bought this place 3 years ago. Anything i can do to support this hard working young family, i will do. Stay here. Its GREAT!
