I called them every month to tell them to refile my bill to my Medicare. My husband had been laid off and all I had was my Medicare. I had no idea I had to call Social Security to let them know that I no longer had other insurance. So I got that fixed but they never rebilled my Medicare. Now they want me to pay a bill I called them every month and told them to rebill my Medicare. They said I had to pay it to be seen. I told them I was not paying a bill that Medicare would have paid at 100% and essentially one that was their fault it didn't get paid. Now I'm in a lot of pain and trying to find another podiatrist I can see now! I know I need a large bone spur removed that has my toe twisted. He will continue to lose patients is his billing department fails to do their job!

I am also seeing Dr. Brent Walker since Aug 2022 for pain management associated with my spine. He has amazing compassionate bedside manners and an understanding of the problem as well as taking a very long time to listen & review your case!! His nurses Shelley & Kelly are amazing - kind and thorough, responding quickly to call-backs. Kudos to his scheduler Jennifer also who responds quickly to scheuling needs. I have also seen Kristen Walker the injection nurse for Dr Walker and thought she too was very thorough and compassionate. I have recommended many people to OrthoArkansas. I read the 1 star comments and hope that the office manager can resolve their problems but many are common to other doctors offices. Glad those patients were able to be heard.

He'll shove a sales pamphlet at you when you leave, still in pain. BAD ATTITUDE: This man is the rudest, cockiest clinician you'll ever meet. Surgeons such as he often think of themselves as miracle workers, but they are not: Anyone whose daddy has enough money can be trained to do his job. OUTDATED: His approach to patient care is 30 years out of date, as is the technology he describes as "cutting edge." He will interrupt as you are speaking; he is dismissive of your concerns; he shamed me for asking for medication (the simplest, most cost-effective solution); he has underdeveloped social skills and terrible bedside manner. His mullet did not impress me, either. NOT WORTH IT: I waited two weeks to get in; spent two hours in drive time and $20 in gas; waited over an hour to see him; then was given a hard salespitch for an expensive gadget that requires electrodes be inserted in my body and only works in 70 percent of patients, according to the sales pamphlet. ALL ABOUT THE BENJAMINS: The appointment with him was an absolute waste of time, money and patience. Just want to let everyone know that on my first visit to Conway Ortho I met with Dr Grohmley! He…read morecame in the room, felt the temperature in my knee, asked if I could bend it and replied.... "Its pretty swollen, take ibuprofen 3 times a day, exercise it and return to work! How long do you want off? Two weeks enough?" Needless to say I left angry! Anyone that knows me knows I Love to work hard and diligently and make a difference! I wasn't there for time off work but rather to get treatment and get back to work! So I did what he said! I started walking on it, exercising it and moving it thinking it would get better! It got worse! In a hurry! Yesterday Dr Pruitt at Arkansas Ortho (my second opinion) did a complete physical assessment of my knee and replied "Im going to put it in an immobilizer to keep it straight because its not stable enough for you to walk on! The inflammation is a concern so I'm going to give you Meloxicam to get it under control! I think you have significant ligament tears and an injured meniscus so we will do an MRI to confirm that!" He then gave me crutches and requested to walk only when having too but with the immobilizer! Conway Ortho was unprofessional, negligent and inconsiderate in thinking I was like most and just looking for time off work! I do not recommend them to anyone seeking medical treatment! Dr Pruitt at Arkansas Ortho was very thorough in his exam, knowledgeable, considerate, caring and helpful! He listened to my testimony as I witnessed and interacted directly with me as well! Just in case anyone reading is needing an Ortho clinic! I gave Conway Ortho one star because I had to in this review otherwise I would have left it blank

Recently, I've started get bill from things I had two years ago. They couldn't figure out what a procedure costs within the first couple of years? It's more of what's wrong with health care in general. They are aggressive about collecting it too. Very aggressive. It is mind boggling. I'll pay it because I have the money and they'll just take me to court. It's only a few hundred dollars, but it's the principle of the thing that gets me. Two years to decide to send me another bill.
