Julia and Mike were an absolute dream come true. My husband and I tried to plan our wedding on our own until we realized there was SO much to consider and it was just way too much work for the two of us. The best decision we made was hiring Julia and Mike. They made our whole wedding perfect from the months leading up to it to the day of. Our wedding day could not have been more beautiful and amazing and it was all thanks to them. They are the sweetest people you will ever meet and they put love into everything they do. If you are planning a wedding and want it to be incredible, Julia and Mike are 100% essential. Thank you!!!

This review is FAR FAR overdue.. like 2 years overdue!!! Julia was basically the best thing about our wedding next to the photographer and of course the wedding itself. Within the year before the shindig she helped walk us through all that was needed. Checked up on me all the time to make sure I was still as sane as a person can be. She answered all my random questions with ease. The day before and day of she was calming, wonderful, organized, thought of things that I didn't (she brought Japanese umbrellas and fans to our Japanese Garden outdoor wedding for our guests to shade themselves with-without me asking because she's amazing) and embraced everything with love including me. Julia was referred to me by Dana Grant whom in my opinion is the best wedding photographer ever!!

We just got married two weeks ago and I could not begin to describe how I feel about Julia and how thankful I am to have met her!! She is absolutely AMAZING!! She went above and beyond for us and was there every step of the way during the most stressful time of our lives. Our wedding was so PERFECT and she had a lot to do with it! I can go on and on about the amazing work she does but pictures say it all. I will definitely recommend her to anyone planning ANY event:)

Julia was the month-of coordinator for my wedding, and let me just say, it wouldn't have turned out half as well without Julia there to guide and organise it all! Julia has a wonderful eye for detail and such class in both style and spirit! She is incredibly easy to work with. I had a general idea of the theme/style I wanted for my wedding, and she helped me narrow it down to something that really embodied my & my husband's personalities. Our friends & family all agreed that our wedding was "so us". Her patience and calming attitudes and words did wonders when I was on-edge and frazzled the week before and morning of the wedding. My husband and I and our families were all impressed with Julia's ability to anticipate our needs and wishes. I'm a perfectionist for details, and having Julia there was like having my clone decorate downstairs as I got my hair & make-up done. The candles and greenery were placed perfectly around the venue, the linens and tables and table settings were arranged just as I'd envisioned... the whole things was perfect, and I know we have Julia to thank for that completely! If you're thinking of hiring Julia, DO IT!!! (photos by the amazing Dana Grant)

(I put in the request via email about people with a good amount of energy, since I noticed a different in two parties I had been to, but none of the requests that I had placed via email mattered. I asked for high energy and mentioned that my daughter loves music, and they had lower energy and had to ask them to turn up the music. I mentioned that we didn't need a cake since she was getting one later, and they brought a cake.) At some point during the birthday party, I had to actually ask one of the ladies there to turn up the music because we could hardly hear it. That was really disappointing since my daughter really loves music (which I had mentioned in my email to them earlier that week). They didn't do any singing or karaoke since we hardly even heard the music. Super disappointing. It's cute in the sense that the kiddos can dress up and get their makeup and hair done and they did a great job at that part. I also liked that they took photos and then airdropped them to your phone after. The way it's set up, the birthday kiddo rings a bell to ask for more food or whatnot for her friends. The whole set up honestly doesn't seem to foster the values I want in my kiddo, but for a one time thing, I suppose it can make the birthday kiddo special. I feel like they could do something more fun like ringing the bell each time someone said birthday or something to that effect. Given my experiences here as the host of a birthday, it's cute but wouldn't do a birthday or event here again just given the overall service. Also, you'll end up tipping the people helping out, and that will be extra (I think we paid almost an extra 100). From a parent perspective, it's a little awkward. You are told to put "drop offs encouraged" but a lot of PV moms end up hanging out or not knowing if they should stay or go. I've paid similar amounts to other types of birthdays and have definitely felt like the value was worth it. This place, not entirely sure, but understand it's an institution and place of tradition in the area. You have to bring your own food, but they don't serve cake. Make sure you bring socks.

The lady who does the makeup, acting and orchestrating the flow of the party was pretty amazing and in character at all times. She was quick on her feet and funny. The interior was a little girl's fantasy world. They had costumes for boys too that included Mickey Mouse. There were tons of Princess dresses and matching footwear from sandals to heels to boots. The sizes ranged as well from little toddler girls to bigger girls. There's a fashion show room with a stage and tons of stuff to look at. The tea party room had a whimsical giant heart shaped table. The party I went to had a princess character do story time but I'm unsure if she's provided with the venue or if that's from a separate agency. It seemed like the Princess was familiar with the space. The makeup room was fun with two makeup artists. The girls got to do their hair, nails and makeup (or face stickers). The bad: I wish they tried a little harder to involve my shy kid. I know they don't have time to spend coddling shy children nor do they want to be pushy but I think a little encouragement would've helped with a few of the kids. The interesting: They don't allow kids to eat messy cake so they instead have a candy plate with cotton candy, sour rope, icing covered animal crackers, cookies and more. The teapots don't have lids (perhaps for quicker refills and because toddlers might not know to place their other hand on top to prevent the lid from falling).

In 2011 we used the services of Pastor Larry to have a nondenominational service for our father. He listened carefully to the details of our father's life story and accomplishments and gracefully added appropriate favorite sayings and anecdotes we chose and some he offered to us to choose. He guided the service and cues for music, family speeches and the releasing of the doves we wanted. Everything he said was thoroughly thought through and all were filled with our father's warm spirit. Again in 2014, we searched for several months to find only Larry to officiate for our mother's service as his contacts had changed. He took the time and listened well again to her journey and guided us through another heartwarming and personal celebration, gracing our mother with a deserving and lovely service that all denominations could relate to. Because of her long years with Alzheimers in the last years of her life, it was important to us that our mothers' accomplishments in the special lifetime she had lived were brought out and remembered well. The attendees at each of our parents memorials were extremely complimentary and touched with many remarks to my brother, sister and I on how they were very impressed that the services could not have portrayed their lives and journeys any better and they felt very uplifted instead of saddend at the end of our loved ones journeys, as did all of our family. They greet you like they fully understand you're one sip away from becoming a productive member of society. Orders come out fast, smiles come easy, and they somehow remember your drink even when you walk in looking like you just fought your alarm clock in hand‑to‑hand combat. Let's talk about the lineup, because place fed the soul: * Almond Croissant, it was flaky, buttery, and filled with enough almond goodness to make you consider writing poetry. It's the kind of pastry that makes you close your eyes for a second and whisper "Wow." * Grilled Cheese, total comfort food with a glow‑up. The cheese pulls like it's auditioning for a commercial, this sandwich feels like a warm hug from someone who believes in you. * Avocado & Bacon Sandwich on Grain Bread, smoky bacon, hearty grain bread, and that creamy avocado, simply amazing. It's that perfect balance of crunch and chew. It's the kind of breakfast that makes you think, "Maybe today will be my day." * Lox on Grain Bread, so delicious...it was fresh, savory, and beautifully layered. The lox is silky, the grain bread adds texture, and the whole thing feels like a classy brunch moment even if you're eating it in your car before work. And of course, the lattes, simply amazing pieces of art work so delicious and strong enough to revive your spirit, smooth enough to sip without making a weird face, and reliable enough to keep you from turning into a caffeine‑deprived menace. Every drink tastes intentional, balanced, and crafted by someone who respects the sacred ritual of "don't talk to me until I've had my latte." This place nails that cozy‑unique vibe. Clean lines, warm lighting, and a calm atmosphere that lets you work, chill, or contemplate your life choices while pretending you're in a montage scene of a movie. It's peaceful without being boring, stylish without being pretentious, and comfortable enough to make you forget you were only planning to stay for five minutes. Miguel C.
