I have frequent neck/back pain and headaches due to my desk job. Because I do not prefer medication, I have tried various massage therapists. Sylvie seems to be the one to help me, as she has been my therapist for a number of years. She is versed in a number of therapies and not only does she work on the problem areas, she works on my entire body to truly help correct the issues. She is the epitome of self-care. I would recommend that anyone who is interested in having a first-class, therapeutic massage to visit her. read more

We offer a variety of modalities in order to customize your massage to your needs. We have found that Cupping is a very effective way to help different discomforts. We also use acupressure points to release blockages. We also welcome infants and children. Hot Stone the ultimate relaxation, the hot stone has been infused with Sedona energy to bring you complete relaxation. Lymphatic drainage helps draining the fluid out of the lymphatic nodes such as after surgery or even puffy ankles during pregnancy or other situations.

History

Established in 2001.

I started my business while I was at massage school doing house calls one was home bound woman with A.L.S. at the time I had named it Stress Relief Center of Erie. I graduated and worked for different businesses along with doing a few massages in my house which worked well for a single parent I continued working for others, bought my house and had my studio in the basement. Recently found an office space on a busy street and changed the name to Serenity by Sylvie where I continue practicing my passion I'm so grateful to be able to work in something I love every day.

Meet the Business Owner: Sylvie H.

In 2000 my 4 year old son was the victim of a trauma I was determine to find justice for him which was a tremendous stress. After winning his case I was unable to walk without assistance, again I was determine to walk independently and raise my son as a single parent. I was inspired by one of Oprah's show the title was "if you want to own a business" the formula was (find your passion, go to school become a professional) . I promised that when I will be well again I will help people and the rest is herstory.
