I was under the impression that I meant more to Diedre than being just a client. Boy I couldn't have been more wrong. My last appointment with Diedre was in February 2024. That day I thought someone {another customer sitting in the circle stole my credit card}. I called Serenity the next day and left a voicemail. Mind you I had another appointment scheduled for March. The long and short of it is the owner of the Salon told me in a voicemail a month later that they reviewed their camera footage and did not see anyone take my card out of my bag and then went on to tell me they no longer wanted me as a customer. As you can imagine, I was highly insulted and angry. I called the salon a few times after receiving this voicemail and never received a call back. The owner of this Salon is very young and obviously does not have business savvy. So unprofessional, the way she went about handling this situation. So, ladies, beware, and know you are just a money maker for them. There are many hair salons in Washingtonville and I found a Salon that is understanding to my needs and works for me. She is close to my age {58} and genuinely cares about her clients and doesn't have crazy music playing like the young thangs at Serenity and charges way less.
