A lot of locals come here for the restaurant and bar. There have even been a fair share of celebrities golfing at this stress free relaxing course. I recommend making a day out of randolph. Holes and direction from green to the subsequent tee are sometimes confusing. Many fairways are clover infested or ill defined. Greens are generally well kept, with some degree of repair required on about half.

Fairways and greens are always in great condition and the rough is cut to perfect height. It was a slow day at the course. We had no one in front of us our behind us. On the 16th a Karen who was playing in the womans league came by to tell us to get off the course. We asked her to contact management if they officially wanted to remove us from the course. We continued play. A ranger did come out and tell us to leave the course. Even at this time we were not interfering with the league play. We were on approach shots and they hadn't even taken the tee box. In front play had moved to the green on the next hole. So we fell in sequence without interfering with any group. At this point we left the course. We approached the Pro at the pro-shop for an explanation. He turned out to be an arrogant pompous ass. We have started our annual golf trip at Elkdale for years. We would eat lunch there and very generously tipped the waitress. Needles to say we will never come back. There are plenty other courses that I believe will gladly accept our money.
