just wanted to take the time and leave a review for bringing my mom back to herself ! after my dad passed away my mom was in a really dark place . after being together for 44 years and loosing him suddenly it was too much to bare. she came to serenely to get help with her mental health . she was started on TMS Therapy and after 2 weeks my mom was coming back to herself again ! she finally graduated this passed week after 8 weeks of the therapy and she is sooooo much happier and more positive . I feel like I have my mom back and I owe it all to you guys !! I also want to give a shout out to Kayla the psychiatrist who is so patient and so gentle and my mom absolutely loves her . I was referred to Serenity by my PCP, as a possibly higher-quality alternative to Better Help. When they finally called to set up my first appointment, I was a little surprised at how personal the receptionist got over the phone regarding 1.) what was going on with me and 2.) What my billing information was, including asking me for my SSN, which I did not provide. The receptionist also seemed to be trying to pitch Ketamine to me, which seemed weird and aggressive, but I proceeded anyway. Despite my initial gut feeling that something was off, here, I went ahead and showed up to my first appointment. I have what I feel is comparatively good health insurance through BCBS. I was informed at the counter that the total amount due for my initial consultation was $279 after insurance! That really surprised me, and I ended up walking away paying the $150 "no-show" fee (which they happily collected). In the end, this is probably my fault for not doing my homework about this sort of provider. This place is certainly NOT the alternative to Better Help I was hoping it would be. I think this is a place full of true psychiatrists who are eager to diagno$e, *NOT* talk therapists. If you're looking for quick, easy meds and money isn't a thing for you, then these guys seem like the type of people who can get you what you want. If you're on a budget and/or just looking for regular, everyday CBT or reasonably priced talk therapy, you should look elsewhere. read more

My first appt. I paid close to $500 dollars for. With United Healthcare Insurance. I had to cancel a second appt. And reschedule. Charged $150. I then was apparently 10 minutes late to an appt. She said I could wait another 10 min to see my Psychiatrist. So basically the receptionist is telling me I pay for a 20 min. Appt. $150 plus. What the hell is my Psychiatrist during my appointed time that she can't see me. I walked out and they billed me another $150. Never going back. I previously contacted Serenity Mental Health Services with questions regarding my insurance deductible and coverage. Unfortunately, I never received a call back or an email response after my initial inquiry. After waiting about a week, I had to call again to follow up. During that call, I was told that my insurance did not populate in their system. I would have expected at least a call or email to explain the issue or next steps. While I understand that insurance systems can have complications, the lack of communication was frustrating and made it difficult to move forward with care. Timely follow-up and clearer communication would greatly improve the experience for potential patients. I would not recommend going here. read more

I was a patient at Serenity for about 5 years. Yesterday I severed my relationship with them and will not return. The gave them 2 stars instead on 1 because the nurse practitioner I saw is very caring and compassionate. I have no problems with her. The check in staff is hot or miss. Some are really nice and some are snappy and rude. I did a full course of TMS and it didn't work at all. But I still needed med management. What made me leave is their ridiculous "missed appointment " policy . In 5 ish years I made all my appointments or rescheduled earlier than 24 hrs in advance. One time I needed to reschedule, not cancel, the day before but not at least 24 hrs. (E.g., noon the day before a 10 am appointment). Because of my blood pressure was very high and I needed to see my GP at that time. They said I would be charged $150 or I needed to submit a doctors note. I said I would absolutely not ask my doc to waste her time writing them a note for a rescheduled 20 minute med check appointment with their 25 year old NP, but I did send them proof of the appointment from the patient portal. Eventually, I got confirmation via email that they were excusing the fee after some back and forth. Then, three weeks later, I got a call from them about the (insane) missed appointment fee. I told them this is no way to treat a long time patient and I'm done with them. No other medical office has a policy this extreme and believe me they are not worth it. Billing problems are the worst. I've had 3 appointments here. The first two, I arrived 15 minutes early like I was asked to, and I wasn't seen by my provider until over an hour after my appointment time. This time, I had called on Monday to schedule an appointment and she said "We have time on Thursday, Friday or Saturday" we scheduled the appointment for 6:00 Thursday. I get here and they say "it's not until Thursday the 23rd".... She did not say any dates on the phone so obviously I would assume she was talking about this week. This place is a scam, and seemed to be run more like a med spa than a legitimate healthcare establishment/business. My partner and I just moved here, and I scheduled us an appointment to get established for medication management. I went with my partner to his appointment, and they wanted $240 for the i nitial appointment, even though our copay is $65. We were never given this information when scheduling the appointment. When I questioned them about it, they said they'd refund us the amount that our insurance would cover. We refused to pay it, then they said we could just pay half?? It makes no sense, and frankly seems very sleazy. We ended up cancelling both of our appointments, and they "granted" us the 1-time-only waiving of the $150 cancellation/no show fee, even though none of this was our fault? read more

The doctor's are amazing, but when I called the office staff and asked them to CHANGE an appointment time, they instead ADDED a second additional appointment then charged me $150 for missing the appointment they were supposed to remove as part of the CHANGE. i hope the unpaid $150 fine is worth losing a long term patient for them! Overbooked. Under cared for. All about that money. Serenity isn't focused on what brings you in, they're interested in how much they can bleed you dry. It's somewhat of a medspa that prescribes pills and has a safe injection site for ketamine (if you have that money!) This for profit business has a rotating door of nurses which I can only imagine what the work behind the scenes looks like. They will also absolutely either overbook the day you set your appointment leading you to wait in their office for over an hour wondering how much money they make off those "no show" fees even though they can cancel whenever. Or they will cancel your appointment and actually never call you, leaving you to find out the day your dr leaves on vacation also leaving you with no medication at all. This business is terrible and you can see from the many reviews that they're hopefully soon going out of business since no one leaves happy there. I can even attest to the amount of people i've seen angry leaving while I was waiting for an appointment. Find telehealth or anything online. Upon contacting my Insurance provider, they referred me to Dr Belmonte at Serenity as an "in-network" provider. Her profile states she is accepting new patients and from the age of 0-120. I am an existing patient of Serenity, but the therapist I was seeing is no longer there. I am on a medication that was prescribed to me by him, and it is no longer working, so I need help. I called today to get an appointment and was told that Dr Belmonte will not take me as a patient and that at 61 years old, I am too old to be seen at Serenity. I guess your mental health is not important after you turn 60. At a time when I need it most. I'm shook. : ((( read more

!!!!! DO NOT GO HERE FOR HELP !!!!! If I could give 0 stars I would. I have been going to this practice for a year now and in that year they told me my insurance was covering everything and that I only owed $25 a visit. I proceeded to go and be seen by Kayla to where she kept telling me I NEED to try TMS and saying my insurance would cover it! Come to find out over the last year they knew my insurance didn't cover ANYTHING and have been billing my account there and NEVER INFORMED ME until today when I received an $800 bill for a bunch of services. Some I didn't even receive. I called billing to try to ask them for clarity or for forgiveness and they just told me "you got the services on paper so you owe us in full" AND HUNG UP ON ME. The care I have received has been half ass at best. Constantly shoving new meds down my throat and experimental treatments. I feel I have been taken advantage of and like I was just another dollar sign to them. Now stuck with a bill that over a years worth of appts SOME I NEVER EVEN SCHEDULED to pay for. I went through TMS and am now on only 1 antidepressant, and hoping to wean down from that one soon. No panic attacks since TMS treatment and overall doing absolutely amazing. Sharing incase others have a similar experience. I had been seeing a psychiatrist Dr. Lee at this practice for a while and I was diagnosed with OCD and dermatillomania. I was prescribed 80 mg of citalopram (celexa), and was told that nothing could really help my skin picking disorder except to maybe purchase some fidget toys or find a new hobby when I felt like picking. In addition, it always felt like I was rushed. My sessions with him were around 5 minutes long. I began to have many heart palpitations and blurry vision. Fast forward, I decided I wanted to find a new psychiatrist at a different practice that was willing to do Teletherapy. Thank GOD I found her and I was diagnosed with bipolar disorder and placed on a new medication (which is helping me out so much!) while I was being weaned off slowly from the celexa. She was shocked to find out that I had been placed on such a high dose and explained to me how it was not safe. I COULD HAVE DIED! She was also appalled when I told her what my other psychiatrist said about my skin picking disorder. She takes the time to explain everything to me and I'm just glad I left this practice and went to her practice. I wasn't angry and had no idea that Dr. Lee was not a good psychiatrist for me until I did some research and found that my dose was definitely not safe for my weight. Wow. read more

Run away from this place, they are money hungry deceivers!! I had been a client since June 2020, and had a great doctor back then, Dr. Viera, she understood me, and made me feel comfortable sharing my behavioral health challenges, and was always honest and open about charges and treatments. I moved from the Desert Ridge location to the Biltmore location after she left, as she moved out-of-state, and I did not feel the same with any of the other doctors at Desert Ridge. I moved on to the Biltmore location, off Camelback and 24th Street, with Dr. Brooks, and he didn't seem to care for what I had to say, and would sometimes bill me for time that exceeded my actual time with him, as he always was behind, and made me wait almost every time I had an appointment with him. I then switch to Dr. Stegner, and she was great, very attentive and kind, she recommended I try out TMS, and I told her I would be interested in knowing more, and finding out if my insurance would covered it, and how much I would have to pay out of pocket, she then passed me on to Diane, she requested more information from me, and informed me that she would work with my insurance to see if it would be covered, and how much that would be. I was later contacted, and asked to go into the office to discuss further, Diane informed me that my insurance approved it, and would cover a certain amount, I informed her that I was not able to afford the amount I would have to pay out-of-pocket, and told her I would think it over, a few days later, Tyler, called me, and asked me to go into the office, to talk over what could be done, as I told him I was not moving forward with TMS, as it was too expensive for me, after insurance. I went in, and he then informed me that they would be able to "HELP" with some of the cost, that the "IMPORTANT THING FOR THEM WAS TO HELP ME OUT, AND WOULD BE HAPPY TO HELP WITH SOME OF THE COST, TO MAKE IT AFFORDABLE FOR ME" See photos of texts, we talked over my concerns, and were able to come to an agreement that the cost I would be able to cover for all 36 SESSIONS, would be a total of $2,395, as per the photo attached, and signed that authorization, of what my total payment would be for the 36 TMS Treatments, I was later informed that each of the 8 sessions I started with, was between $205-$290 per session, so I stopped and I was also not enjoying my sessions with all the head taping, that was making my right eye twitch randomly, and a dull technician, that would place the helmet on incorrectly, as I had initially a great technician, and noticed the change. I contacted them and told them I wanted to stop TMS, and informed them I was showing the charges incorrectly, and NALU OKIMOTO, kept misunderstand my billing question, so I then requested to speak to the Practice Manager, and was connected with KYLE MABEY, he seemed confused at first, and later understood my concern and billing question, and he then claimed that was my deductible, and blamed it on that, being the reason why they overcharged, I explained to him that was not the agreement, and that I had been informed, my out of pocket, after insurance, would be the $2,395, and that I had set auto payments according to that, for that reason, he then informed me that If I would go back and get the 36 sessions, SERENITY MENTAL HEALTH would then honor the QUOTED Amount, I told him I did not want to do any business with them, and that I would be changing providers, and he never responded there after, no solution, and I still show the OVERCHARGED AMOUNT, this place is unethical and highly misleading, I will be seeking legal counsel, as this is not right, and they are breaking the signed agreement. RUN AWAY, and find an honest place!!! read more

After seeing Deborah Stegner, it's clear that she only cares about her billable hours of insurance payments. She does not want to follow the recommendations of the DSM-5. So she makes up her own ways of doing things. I have panic disorder and she does not seem to care enough to work with me and my schedule. She will push going to a mental hospital until she tells you she can't help you. I described my busy schedule and my inability to go into a mental hospital but Dr. Deborah Stegner would not accept that working 70 hours a week prevents me from going to a out patient mental hospital. Not willing to continue the life saving treatment that my previously, passed away doctor was treating me with that provided relief from my panic disorder. Please, do not come to this physiatrist and their office. Trust me, I've been dealing with psychiatrist for years and this is by far the worst place you can go to. read more

Going to Serenity has been the best decision I've ever made regarding my mental health. Along with the meds they prescribed and the TMS treatment , I have never felt better , and I was in a very bad way. The staff is wonderful. Natalie, Amber, and Hannah were the best during my TMS treatments. They really care about the patients and take pride in their jobs. They made me feel comfortable every day during treatments. Excellent at their jobs ! And Jasmine at the front desk was so nice. She knew everyone's name and greeted everyone by name and said goodbye to everyone after their appointments by name. I was seeing Kara Prussing for short time at the Desert Ridge location. At the time I had to switch to an in person psychiatrist to get my Adderall prescription. I was also struggling with post traumatic stress disorder pretty severely at the time due to recently getting out of an abusive relationship. At one point I had a mental breakdown and was experiencing a lot of dissociation and panic attacks and was extremely hyper-vigilent and irritable. Every loud noise would send me into a panic and make me lash out on people. I also have borderline personality disorder and was in a new relationship which was a stressor on my triggers due to past events. One night it was really bad and I decided to go to the behavioral health hospital. The Psychiatrist there put me on an antidepressant and something at night for sleep. And I was still taking my Adderall while in the hospital. After a week in there I was feeling much better. Fast forward to my follow up appointment with Kara Prussing. She immediately made me feel like I did something wrong and like I was in trouble (mind you I was a 27 year old adult). She told me it sounded like I had a manic episode which I completely disagreed with. She argued with me and refused to hear my perspective of what happened. She was very patronizing which triggered me and I started to shut down. She told me she was taking me off of my Adderall and also took me off of all the meds the hospital gave me that were working and put me on a mood stabilizer and a children's non-stimulant ADHD med which did not work at all. I left her office in tears because I felt so judged, unheard, and disrespected. The months afterward, I fell into a really deep depression after going off the Adderall and antidepressants and had really bad anhedonia for about a year and the mood stabilizer amplified that to the extent where I felt no joy whatsoever, despite being in a really good time in my life. I'm now with a different psychiatrist who trusts me and listens to my input on what meds I take. I did TMS therapy with him and it helped tremendously. I'm on Prozac for PMDD and PTSD, Vyvanse for ADHD, and Mirtazapine for sleep and anxiety and am mentally in the best place I've ever been. My experience at Serenity Mental Health really taught me that some Psychiatrists have biases towards certain diagnosis and do not always have your best interests in mind. I'm really not sure about the other providers there, but I would not recommend Kara Prussing, especially if you have a highly stigmatized diagnosis. read more

I just had the worst and weirdest experience while trying to be seen for mental health that I've ever had. I found this place a little over a month ago and made an admittedly long over due apt to get help for what I've been experiencing. The woman I talked to on the phone to make the apt was absolutely amazing and she made me feel really good about my choice to go to serenity. I had really high hopes and was looking forward to talking with someone about getting the help I needed. The office itself was nice, the front desk girl was nice, the woman, Amber who talked to me before I saw the Dr was really nice. After a short wait I was taken in to see Dr Melissa Leuzzi (Nurse Practitioner) and immediately it was weird. My initial attempt at a humorous greeting upon meeting her was unreciprocated, my other attempts getting to know her just didn't land and it was awkward. She launched right into what felt like a frantic assessment in a very cold, let's get this done as fast as possible way while she stared at her computer without an ounce of warmth, personality or friendly interaction. I'm not in a great place, I've been really sad lately and I'm in a lot of physical pain so I didn't respond how I would have liked to a comment about meds prescribed by my neurosurgeon and I guess she wasn't my biggest fan after that. Ok, that sucks, it's her right I guess but I tried to let her know how I was feeling and why I was responding that way and I felt like she wouldn't even acknowledge my attempt. It left me frustrated and feeling completely unheard. Towards the end I asked her about Adult ADHD and she said she didn't see that in me, I was confused as to how she came to that conclusion when SHE HADN'T ASKED ME A SINGLE QUESTION ABOUT IT!! I'm not looking for adderall or similar drugs just to get them, I've never taken them. Honestly they scare me but I am looking to talk to someone about the issues I'm having to see if maybe those drugs might help me. I already know I'm depressed but maybe if she actually talked to me instead of rapid fire clinical yes/no questions without me being able to add context to my answers maybe just maybe she might have at least entertained the possibility that I might be depressed because I can't focus on anything long enough to finish anything and I feel like an complete failure because of it. Is that too much to ask? Look I get it, she's not a therapist but geez that whole interaction was wild. Halfway through I felt like she was just over me and I sat there thinking is this really happening? What did I do and why is she treating me this way? I tried to give her the benefit of the doubt, maybe I was coming across in a way I didn't intend? I have really bad resting b*tch face, was that a factor? I'll never know because she basically refused to engage with me other than to make me feel like a nuisance. I hate how this interaction turned out. I hate that she thought I was being rude and I hate that I was made to feel that way. I don't know, I'm left feeling confused, disappointed and a little angry. When I told her I didn't think I would be continuing care with her she jumped up quick as can be and said ok I'll escort you out as if I was going to do something crazy. I made one last attempt to be nice and explain my POV on my way out but was again dismissed with an abrupt yep, have a nice day as she walked past the scheduling desk and told them in an annoyed voice that I wouldn't be having a follow up. I wasn't trying to be a jerk, if that is how I came across I'm truly sorry however my experience with Melissa Leuzzi NP was extremely unpleasant and upsetting. Maybe I caught her on a bad day or maybe she just didn't like me, I don't know. I just hope she treats other patients better than I was treated. 100% would not recommend her. read more

I had been here a while back and saw a doctor for a medication evaluation, it was helpful and all went well. They were very enthusiastic to suggest EMS and another therapy that require many, many visits but my insurance would not cover it so I declined. Yesterday, I sent my son for a first time evaluation for some issues he is experiencing. He was on time for his appointment but waited close to an hour to be called back. The first thing the assistant went over (before even speaking with a doctor or anything) was these expensive treatments, trying to get him to sign up for them. When he said he is only looking to discuss possible FIRST treatments he was asked to wait, again, for the doctor. 30 minutes later they informed him he would need to reschedule because none of the doctors were available. They took his copay and will bill our insurance, and he was never even evaluated or spoke with a doctor. It seems that they are just trying to sell specific, expensive treatments and putting a low priority on initial mental health help. He was waiting an entire month for this appointment, all the while struggling with these issues. Now we are back to square one, a month has been lost and even if he were to get evaluated and begin a medication tomorrow it takes weeks for them to have an impact. I'm extremely disappointed with this office now which is unfortunate because I recommend them to my son. read more

Dr. Lee is the worst doctor I've ever had. Extremely disappointed and had to leave my appointment early without my doctor putting in a resupply for my Lexapro and Wellbutrin. I had to step away from my parents and it's sad but it's what I have to do. Dr. Lee started lecturing me about how I should let them be in my life. I asked him to please stop. He got frustrated and raised his tone, then started yelling at me that I can't tell him I don't want his advice. That I have to sit there, shut up, and listen. Awful awful doctor. When I saw him for the first time he also told me, "just tell me whatever you want, I don't really care. I'll send a prescription through." If I was irresponsible I could've easily gotten a benzo order sent to the pharmacy. So if you're looking for a doctor who will just give you pills, he's a good choice. Or if you want a doctor who cuts you off every time you begin to speak? Dr. Lee is your man. I explained that talking about my parents is a trigger to me and he blatantly said, 'I don't care, I am going to talk about them and you have to listen." That is awful... read more

Benjamin P - We're not talking about a prolonged period of time, as the patient has been seen REGULARLY AND AS PRESCIBED BY THE TREATING PHYSICIAN for almost two years. We're talking about an oversubscribed practitioner who is unavailable for months at a time and an office policy that negligently puts mental health patients at risk. As you know, follow-up appointments are booked months out and in Dr. Lee's case towards the end of the "window" in which he wants the appointment scheduled due to his limited availability. Sometimes unchangeable/uncontrollable conflicts arise (work commitments, COVID or other illness) and these appointments need to be rescheduled. How can you justify denying a patient psychiatric medications that can't be discontinued "cold turkey" because your practice has no availability for existing patient follow-up appointments within a two to three month window (these appointments are only 20 minutes)? Your practice puts mental health patients at risk with this policy. Ethically and medically you should review these situations on a case-by-case basis, where appointment attendance/regularity of visits/duration of patient-doctor relationship should be taken into account. I'm waiting on a call from Parker Ipsen, and plan to take this to the AZ Medical Board. Tyler, your Desert Ridge office manager, was rude and uninformed. After stating he had the patient's (a minor, my child) intake forms in front of him and did not see a signed consent form to speak with me (the parent), he said a quick conversation with the patient to get her consent would be required before he would speak with me. Had he simply looked at the intake paperwork he claimed to have in his possession he would have known her age and that she is a minor and I am her parent. As the practice manager, he should have known that a minor can't give consent and can't sign a consent form. He also should have known that the intake paperwork includes an office policy requiring all parents to be present for all visits, calls, etc. for minor patients. He then said Dr. Lee has lots of availability and blamed me for being unable to schedule a follow-up appointment sooner. Ironically he was only able to find two available appointments in Dr. Lee's schedule - a Saturday morning slot ( a conflict with the patient's work schedule) and the original appointment slot that we needed to reschedule. The next available was the appointment we had already booked at the end of August - almost two months out. He then demanded to know what commitments we have in our calendar over the next two months to determine if our unavailability on the one available Saturday morning appointment was justifiable. Finally, how do you explain your follow-up comments directing patients to phone extensions and employees (e.g. Cathy) which don't exist within the practice? read more

While I see the other reviews are also poor that doesn't surprise me. I don't ever feel the need to review something but I am shocked by the way the place runs their practice. I was seen back in July for my check up for anxiety and when I came in they asked me to update my insurance. I had accidentally brought in my old insurance card since my company had just recently switched over insurance. The lady took all my information and looked everything up and said "everything looks good with your insurance you will have a $50 copay for todays visit" so I paid the $50. Fast forwarded 3 months later, I show up to my next visit. The lady at the desk asks me for my insurance and then proceeds to say "oh and by the way you have an outstanding balance of $300.00 to pay since your last visit you were not insured." She explained that the insurance I had on file was expired. I explained that the lady at the desk had told me everything was good to go and all I owed was $50 and they said "well that may have been the case but it was expired" and so I asked why no one informed me because I would never pay out of pocket to be seen or agreed to that and they told me they had just found out my insurance was expired. I asked if i was able to prove that I had insurance if I could get the fee removed and they said that I could try but because it had been so long, I probably wouldn't be able to do anything about and blamed me for bringing in the wrong insurance card. while that was my fault, they should have checked my insurance card when updating it to make sure it was valid so I'm not thrown off by a $300 charge months down the line with no way of fixing it. I let them know that I would like to cancel any further appointments due to being scammed and they said that's fine. flash forward a month later while still needing a new provider, I saw I had a refill for my necessary medication with Serenity and so I requested it. They responded by saying until I have an appointment with them, they will not refill my medication. what a terrible, terrible company with terrible customer service. I became violently ill right after taking a new med that Doctor Hubert gave me. I called the office and waited on hold for 30 minutes for their call center in Utah to answer. Note: All calls are sent to Utah during normal business hours, even for scheduling.They then transferred to someone else who advised someone will call me back in 72 business hours. That call never came. How someone can be so sick and be completely ignored is beyond me. This office operates like a IT help desk, if you ever need local help, even for medical emergency, you will be waiting an hour on phone and promised return calls that never come. Update March 18 2021: They finally got me my full dose of antipsychotics after one month and a bad review I went to serenity mental health on February 19 2021 and I'm still trying to get my meds a month later. I saw a dr dekeyser. Who at one point described the practice as the McDonald's of psychiatric care. So to start they were 40 minutes late. I gave them the dosage three times. One on the phone to a patient care coordinator on the phone. Then to two employees at once because it takes two of them to mess up. Then when they wanted me to do it again because the dr got confused or something. THEN they still got it wrong and I literally had pictures on my phone i was reading off. Then it toom them a week to send the meds. Which they still did wrong. I take 600mg of pills I take then only sent 300 and I have let them know multiple time and they have still not gotten it right. It's been a month since my last appointment. I don't even think the dr sent it in. They had a nurse jackie mess it up this time. How you can call a pharmacy and STILL get it wrong is ridiculous. Be worried if a nurse jackie is "helping" you. Then some mild transphobia tossed my way when the dr said she thought I was a normal woman. For some reason I expected more sensitivity from a dr in the mental health field. Last thing that bothered me was the mcdonalds comment. Which honestly felt kinda elitest. Plus McDonald's has never taken a month to get my order. Also expect to have ketamine pushed hard on you. Like they would not stop talking about it. I have zero faith that I'll get my full prescription. This place is like the used car dealership of mental health. "What's it going to take to get you into our unconventional treatment" should be their motto. I had the displeasure of meeting with Dr. Deborah Stegner a few years back where she berated me to justify the diagnosis of my previous doctor. I couldn't understand why I was under attack for simply wanting help and left wondering how she could pretend to know more in 30 minutes than the doctor that had actually helped me for 3 years. I recently went back hoping for better results with a different doctor but just got the same sales pitch for a month of magnetizing my brain or 2 weeks of a Ketamine IV. The new doctor did enlighten me that insurance wouldn't cover these "treatments" with my original diagnosis so I realized why Dr. Stegner may have been so adamant to rediagnose me and never even bothered to request my original medical records. Appointment set for 6:00pm, got there 15 min early, then I was told it would be an hour wait. Okay that's fine. Then after an hour someone came and pitched me a weekly ketamine injection and some daily KMS brain rewiring . I was there for a prescription, not daily brain scans or weekly drug injections. Then after another hour it was about 8:00 when I was told that all the "providers" (doctors) were gone and had went home. So I was sitting in a 5x5 foot room for two hours to be told that everyone clocked out already. I was in a car accident earlier that day and I had a one year anniversary dinner for my friend who committed suicide. I needed that prescription BAD, but since it wasn't a ketamine treatment or a brain scan, they weren't interested in helping me. Horrible establishment . Very friendly staff. I went daily for TMS therapy for two months. When I finished I was sad to not see them everyday.

Went to see Dr Sethi trying to get paperwork filled out for a work accommodation but she said I have to try treatment (medication with side effects I don't want to deal with) first, before she will do it. But I don't need (or want) medication, I just want the accommodation, and I need it now, not later... Also telling me I was misdiagnosed when she only talked to me for 40 minutes, asking me irrelevant questions and I didn't feel like she was really listening... YOU'RE the one misdiagnosing me. I have not just a few symptoms of what I know I have (and was already diagnosed with, just lost the paperwork), I have ALL of them and deal with them every day. Clearly doesn't know shit about what I have and acts like she knows more than I do about issues I've lived with my entire life, just arguing with everything I said and talking in circles. The girl I talked to on the phone and the receptionists were really nice, they made me feel really good about this place, but Dr Sethi wasted my time and money, was rude and gave a really uncomfortable experience so I won't be seeing her again read more

Had adequate service. At the end of the day, was really saddened by office policy of charging for having to reschedule. I called 21 hours prior to my appointment given a meeting at work. I was told that because it was not over 24 I would be charged $20. Not a big deal financially, but given that this was the first time I ever had to change an appointment, I felt that it was petty. It also signaled that the key thing is about the $$$, not really the welfare of the patient. Given that appointments are rushed (typically 10 minutes for me), this just reinforces my belief. Take a look at the other one-star reviews and formulate your own opinion -- I will NOT be going back. Moreover, I will be contacting my referring physician and letting them know of my experience -- and providing copies of the reviews on YELP so they can make an informed decision regarding where they are referring patients. read more

I came here because my phycologist is no longer practicing. The staff are friendly and welcoming. I have Dr. Sherry Dekeyser, she is always a pleasure to see, always smiling, and you can tell she loves what she does. I would of given 5 starts but: I only have one complaint. This to me is a HUGE No No!! Being at the front desk you NEVER EVER eat when you are working/in sight of patients. This is not a good first impression of the office. This needs to stop!
