Haven't been back since. To add more detail, I was given a gift certificate the purchaser got specifically to cover the cost of TWO pedicures. When I went for 2nd one was told "not enough". I explained that I looked at the prices on their Facebook page before I went and I showed him the screenshot on my phone and he still kept shaking his head saying "no sorry". And there were no signs anywhere listing the prices. I think as a courtesy & good business practice, (not to mention I think the Attorney General would say that's illegal) they would've just honored the amount and said "OK but next time please understand that the cost went up". I went to Serenity today with a friend for pedicures. First, zero personality with the nail tech, made 2 toes bleed, used a rough brush on the top of my feet leaving scratches and scratched my ankle bone using a rough sponge. All the items used on my feet were washed in the tub my feet were sitting in which totally grossed me out as it should anyone visiting this establishment. It's unfortunate because the original owner cared and was so clean. This place is disgusting and not to mention painful. Do not recommend! read more

The owner (Lynn) is unfortunately extremely rude but she is very good at gel and acrylic false nails so just have to deal with her being mean to you. I also noticed as I've been going there that they only take pictures of the "pretty girls" hands and post them on there face book page which is kind of messed up! A lot of women get there nails done to feel pretty and have like a there time get away and when they do stuff like that only take pictures of the pretty girls hands and not the older women or not so pretty hands and do it in front of you it makes you feel down. I also noticed I get the same exact thing done every time I go and they charge different amounts every time I think depending on the mood they are in! I tried this place 2 times for a pedicures. First time the deluxe pedicure lasted 25 minutes for a $40 pedicure. The lady doing the pedicure had a really bad attitude and negative energy about her. I actually felt sorry for her. Second time the deluxe pedicure lasted an hour. It was better but the toes weren't filed down and I had two chipped toe nails that the women didnt file properly and then she put paint on. I noticed when I got home. So disappointing. Not a quality job. I would not recommend this place. read more

My mom and I had such a great experience getting our manicures and pedicures for mother's day. My mom is very low fuss, I think this was the first time she has had color put on her toes and one of her first manicures. They were so nice and so sweet to her and lovely to go to. I do recommend going to Serenity Nail and Spa. read more

I went there for a simple French manicure. It was by far the worst French manicure I have ever had. I could see the white of my own nail through. The nail tech didn't cover the white of my own nail. I specifically asked him to make sure my own nail was covered. I didn't have my glasses with me and didn't see it until I was home. read more

Not sure what the point of having an appointment is if they're not going to take you anywhere near your appointment time. Got there 5 minutes before my scheduled time, was told to have a seat, and there I stayed for 30 more minutes before deciding to leave. Not sure how much longer I would have waited- didn't look like anyone was even close to finished. No communications, no "sorry for the wait we'll be with you soon". Got a full set of acrylic nails for the first time here. Pretty good experience. Typical nail salon vibe. Nail tech took his time and made sure all my nails were even and just how I liked. Being my first time getting acrylics though I thought that I had to keep it in the cure area until he motioned me to take my hand out. BAD IDEA! My hand felt like it was on fire!!! Had to take it out and it only got worse when he started to file it. Little did I know I didn't have to leave my hand in. Oh well... Main thing is that I am super happy with the results! Went with two friends and we all got in right away without an appointment. 40$ for what I got which is pretty average. Overall good nail salon experience. read more

Finally found a consistently good nail salon. Have been getting acrylic fills there for a few months now. They always look very natural and overall well done. I've been recommending this place to everyone because I know how hard it is to find a decent nail salon. I believe the fill is $20 or $22. Pretty compatible to other places. I took my 3 (adult) daughters here for mani-pedis and it was an ok experience. They definitely take their time, which is relaxing if you can spend 1 1/2 for a regular mani/pedi (or not if you don't plan for the time, so heads up). English is not well spoken here and of the 4 or us, two of us had mishaps due to miscommunication- nothing that wasn't fixed but still frustrating. One of us ended up bleeding during her manicure due to over trimming her cuticle. Clean space, nice music, friendly associates. Not a horrible experience, not great. Over all, with so many salons to choose from, I'd recommend looking somewhere else. read more

Beware I watched them not sterilize anything & put in a " steril package" notice it's not sealed thats because they don't actually sterilize instruments!Horrible service, very unfriendly & charged me for deluxe service but did not give deluxe but wanted to be paid when I questioned they were extremely rude my nails were peeling an hour after appointment! read more

My nails look like they were done by a drunken kindergartener. Totally uneven, crooked, thick, bumpy and ugly. I was charged $40 for a full set, but another $10 for gel polish??? Then $10 more to remove nails when I came in for a fill??? Never mind that I was there the entire afternoon. These nails look so fake they are downright embarrassing. Never again. read more

It's a cute space but they charged me $15 not including tip for a basic manicure. And they didn't tell me the credit card machine was down until I was getting ready to pay so I had to wait 30 minutes for them to figure it out.
