I also like that there aren't body builders and show-offs hogging the equipment. PRS schedules each appointment so you ALWAYS know how long you will be there and there is never any wait. I asked for help to locate her room and the staff was so friendly and helpful. It was wonderful to see how well taken care of the residents were. I noticed great effort was given to provide an atmosphere where the residents felt included in social events and activities. I was very impressed with the cleanliness of the facility and how well it was maintained. I was given a tour of the property and the grounds were very well kept. I saw leisurely activities the residents could take part in, as well as spaces for family members to come and celebrate with them. Afterwards, I ate at one of their cafe's and really enjoyed the lunch. Everywhere I went, the staff was so friendly. It had the feel of being home. If I had to refer someone to a nursing/residential facility, this would be the place.

The entire Rehab Team created a caring environment with an impeccably high standard of care, delivered with warmth to my mother when she was admitted after a fall. I was impressed by the Team's manners and compassion, something you rarely find these days. Not one of my questions or concerns went unanswered. The staff demonstrated total commitment into caring for my mother. There were specific individuals who offered exceptional dedication and outstanding professional performance, as well as compassion, understanding, and caring. My Encompass doctor actually came to see me when I was still in the hospital at McLeod. He wasn't going to be at Encompass the day I was getting released, so he wanted to meet me and asked if there was anything that I needed...amazing. What doctor does that? None that I know of. The equipment was state of the art. They have a couple of machines that allow you to walk without fear of falling as it has you tethered. The OT and PT made sure that everything that I needed to go home with I had. I felt safe and comfortable.

The facility is way above standards, super clean, very well organized and laid out. For the residents, everything they could dream of is here, including places for family to come and enjoy meals and visit with the resident family member, activity rooms, and so much more. My family has been in so many facilities over the years with so many nursing homes and VA facilities, and we had a great deal of interaction and experience with those facilities and staff. Most of the time the family feels out of place, like they do not belong or not welcomed there, like the feeling of "how soon can they leave," feeling from the staff. At Patriots Village, the feeling was extremely warm and inviting for our family and my father, who is moving in as a new resident within the week. It took only the 1 visit for him and our family to feel like we had an extended family on the spot. This is how a facility should feel to the members and staff - everyone is family - and the feeling is certainly there - every single staff member we interacted with. From the amazing rooms, meeting areas, meal room for family, dining areas, to the exercise/physical therapy areas, to the outstanding Barista. Everything Was wonderful and we can't get over how friendly and fun the staff are to be around. We felt so comfortable we didn't want to leave. Pressure point, needling, strengthening exercises, traction, heat and electric stimulation. My therapists, Kristin Taska, Alex Nadeau and Pam Craig were very thorough, attentive and extremely knowledgeable in their craft. The physical area is well equipped and very clean.
