They wanted to charge me more. I am attaching photos so you can see there's no visible difference with the filler I paid 650 for. I have lip discoloration from lip injection. It looks uneven. My smile lines look pretty much exactly the same. Look at photos and you tell me? For Botox I now have lines on my head when I don't scrunch my forhead that never existed before. In before photo she has me scrunching, but not forhead normally. I have less scrunching now, but not permant lines. Injection for botex was done inproperly I was told from another practice. The look I wanted to achieve was done inproperly. She went right into smile lines instead of cheeks and under nose. I went back explained myself and got nowhere. I also have a lump on my face from filler!! I was told massage it. The nurse is Jess do not go to her. Avoid this office period. Unhappy costumers should be fixed at no charge especially when it's on them!! Photos below so you can see there's no difference with smile lines . It's hard to seen lump but where red mark is . Is where it is. I'm not just going to be burned . An I'm not going to argue . I'll be calling American Express to fight this and posting everywhere possible online. An also for lump I can file a lawsuit as another practice said it can cause serious issues down the line. . They don't want to correct this by even adding more botex which is cheap to fix lines!! I was going to have to pay , obviously I'm going elsewhere if I have to pay for error you made. Check photos below for amazing results that cost 900. 25 units of Botox , an one filler. I'm not 60 I shouldn't need 3 fillers for my face. It was done improperly for results not to happen. I went in for Same Day Surgery 7/06/16 and after a 6 inch incision was sent home in a binder with oxycodone for pain management. I tried to sleep but my skin felt like it was on fire and I was breaking out into hived like blisters and my pain was horrible so at 3 hours in we called Dr. Nicholson and explained we thought I was allergic to the oxycodone and could we get something else. He then suggested Tylenol with Codeine and I knew in the past that Tylenol with codeine has made me sick to my stomach so I asked for something different and he said no and that because the pain was terrible to take 2 oxycodone and some Benadryl. So that is what we did and I did not sleep for 3 days and because I was taking a double dose we ran out and called Saturday night but was informed that the office was not open until Monday and that they could not help me. I also reached out to my doctor but she would not see me because I had not been released back to her yet. So with very little sleep for a week, we went for follow up the next Wednesday where I was diagnosed with an infection and put on antibiotics. I was doing a bit better, not great but better when I went to see Dr. Nicholson 2 weeks later but the hives kept coming and coming. A week later I woke up with my eye swollen shut covered in hives everywhere and crusting over my incision and that itchy throat that means I am heading for trouble. I went to the Urgent care because of course my surgeon's office was closed and they shot me me up with prednisone and gave me allergy pills, prednisone pills and cream. They were so kind to me that I cried since I had not been treated with kindness through any of this. The hives started to go away and I woke up this morning to my incision coming open in 2 dime like spots so I called the surgeon and they had me come in. I walked in crying because well I was scared and hurting and just so tired. Dr. Nicholson was not there so I was seen by Lane I. Moore, MD, who threw the door open to the exam room looked at my incision and said this is your fault because you smoke and I was trying to explain to him my allergic reaction to oxycodone and the hell that had ensued since that and he said you did not have an allergic reaction, he said put a gauze pad on it and tape, quit smoking and wounds have been healing for thousands of years on their own. There has been one saving grace through this practice and that is the nurse, not sure of her name she has red hair, slightly older, she has been so kind and loving and the only reason I have gone back.

So she called the billing department and told them to resubmit the bill to Humana and refund me my money because I am covered for the visit. The. doctor bill in total was 1008.00. I was given a muscle relaxer and prednisone and told the MRI department would call me to schedule an MRI--$460 with insurance--and then I was sent home. That night, my pain became unbearable. I suffered severe muscle spasms, got no sleep, and was in so much pain that I cried repeatedly. When I called Ortho SC first thing the next morning to explain what was happening, I was told they could not help me and that I should go to the emergency room. When I asked about the MRI, I was brushed off and told someone would contact me. I had to push to be transferred to the MRI department myself. There, I was told the next available appointment was December 22--nearly two weeks later. I was informed that there were 66 patients ahead of me and that my pain did not warrant any urgency. Being told to live with this level of pain for weeks was not only unacceptable, it was inhumane. When a complaint management representative finally called me back, her response was simply, "If you're in that much pain, go to the ER." This was after Ortho SC had already taken my insurance, performed incomplete imaging, and sent me home with no answers and no plan. I have never felt so dismissed, abandoned, or powerless by a medical provider. Out of desperation, I found a spine specialist on my own and was seen the same day. They immediately took proper X-rays, including a front view that Ortho SC never bothered to do. The doctor showed me that my spine was shifting to the right and that I had two compressed discs at the bottom of my spine--conditions Ortho SC completely missed. I received injections that actually helped my pain and was given a clear, competent treatment plan. This experience highlights everything wrong with large, corporate-style healthcare practices. At Ortho SC, patients are treated as numbers, not human beings in pain. I will never return to Ortho SC, and I will actively warn others to avoid!
