Dr. Giddens was my surgeon and he was absolutely amazing. He explained everything in a way that I understood. He eased my anxiety and honestly saved my life. His bedside manner is gentle and his skill speaks for itself. The office is very accommodating and the wait time is surprisingly short. Scheduling is a breeze as well. They have an online option that tells you the next available appointment slot and allows you to book immediately. This is honestly the only doctor I'd trust inside my brain!

I like the fact that when changing my medication, he changes one at a time so we can narrow down what works and what doesn't. I have read comments on other sites where people gave him lower reviews because they didn't understand the first step to treating migraines can be medications like anti-seizure meds. Most people automatically assume they are going to get medication to make the pain go away. Dr. O'Donnell is the type of doctor that wants to prevent the pain from ever starting in the first place. I highly recommend this office, but with an open mind on your treatment.

When I arrived, my pain level was intense, I could hardly walk; he diagnosed my issue within minutes, he was thorough, professional, articulate, very knowledgeable; and took his time in explaining in detail my issues, his recommendation and how he was going to address the problem. It's a case of workers comp yet they let me go soon as I said I needed to go on short-term disability to get the shoulders replaced as well as I have a problem with the hip Dr. Matthews is phenomenal, but I'm waiting on Workmen's Comp. to go back and see him and get an MRI done on my hip that I fell on 10 months ago at work but over overtime it's gotten worse. So please just Do it. My job is very physical. This is a result of work. It's happened at work. He wanted a follow-up MRI to get more detail to determine what the problem was and when I asked if I could have it done closer to home (1.5 hr drive to his office), he readily agreed and said he'd call me with the results so that I wouldn't have to drive all the way back to Mount Pleasant. Very nice. The receptionist however is another story. Every interaction I've had with her has been negative, as she's been rude , dismissive and condescending. As a patient with a history of cancer, anxiety and depression, and now dealing with an anomaly spotted in a brain scan, the last thing I want to have to deal with in the doctor's office is a bad attitude from a receptionist.

Well they didn't even listen to my cancellation. They tried to call me with a message saying they look forward to seeing me so I just ignored it. My friend said don't waste your time with them because she took her crippled Daughter there and they didn't even take her brace off to look at her injury so she said he just talked away and said that she needed to go elsewhere. She left and said it was a waste of her time to load her up with bring her to this place.
