Just one call was enough to let me know I do not want anyone at this salon to do my hair. The lady that answered sounded awfully rude and bored out of her mind. She continued with "ugh hold on! I can't hear you!" When she said she could finally hear me, she seemed careless about my request and said that they could not help me because they're overbooked. She did not even offer another date to try to accommodate me. Recommendation: Sound like you don't hate your job and life in general. If you're too busy for the current inquiry, offer a time that you could accommodate the customer. read more

OK I'm gonna lay it out for you. To me finding the right hairdresser is one of the most important things to do. To me it's up there with choosing a life partner. It doesn't matter if you get your hair colored or do anything crazy with it, you need someone who wants you to look your absolute best. My hairdresser has been Letisia Medina at The Finest Hair Salon for years now and I will never stray again! The only reason I did was because she was booked for months and I had to do SOMEthing!! I had promised my hairdresser that I would never EVER use those home coloring kits from the store - you no the ones that came in the boxes?Apparently they're terrible for your hair and it makes my hairdresser's job way harder and takes much longer than it should so I have not used even looked at those since! And I am NOT saying I don't like how the lovely young lady did my hair at Serenity - she did a pretty good job however it was really quick. And that poor girl does not know the history of my hair and low lights and highlights I've had put in it in the past! It was really hard for me to explain to her and so I don't feel like she took the time she needed to take. But that's totally my fault! That is why I will continue to go to Leti until she moves or retires because she always makes my hair look a-MAZ-ing!!! There is only one thing I do for myself and that is to get my hair done because it is super thick and long and wavy and it gets tangled so easily but every single time Leti has done my hair I have loved it. But a lot of people I know go to Serenity Salon and I wasn't disappointed in the final product, I just know that my hairdresser would've done it exactly how I wanted it. But thanks so much to McKenzie at Serenity - I really appreciate you filling me in and yes you did do a good job! A bit expensive for what little you did but I knew that going there so it's definitely not your fault. But if you're looking for a new salon or hairdresser try Serenity because a lot of people like it there. It is a beautiful shop also. read more

My whole family and I get our hair done at Serenity. Renee is so knowledgeable and always does an amazing job with the cut and color of my hair, which can be difficult to work with because it's thick and has a lot of texture. My husband's hair always looks amazing too! Caitlyn takes care of my two little girls and she is so patient and sweet to them. I recently got a spray tan from Vicki and was blown away by how natural it looked and how kind and professional she was. I highly recommend! read more

Will not be going here again. A girl named alex did my hair and I guess she was new or something but it looked like a $8 cut.I asked to have my hair thinned and After she was done cutting I had to remind her to thin it, which I guess she couldn't even do because she had another one of the girls thin it for me, which wasn't even good. Why would they have someone new cut my hair if it's my first time there? So bad for business. Would not recommend, looks nice but looks can be deceiving. read more

I went in to serenity to get my haircut on my day off thinking I can get a quick haircut. When I walked in there were at least four stylists sitting at their chairs talking on their cell phones The receptionist told me that they were all booked up for the day I find it hard to believe that every single stylist was busy when you had four people sitting in their chairs doing nothing. I was very disappointed and I went to another salon. I got a great haircut at the other place and I will never try Serenity again. read more

Not only does she not know what she is doing she will block all your attempts to communicate after she ruins your hair. I was in desperate need of a new outfit and honestly just looking for something new and this boutique hit the jackpot! I ended up leaving with 6 new outfits! The staff is amazing! They were so attentive and very helpful in coming up with cute stylish outfits that worked with my body type! Even when it came to trying on the billion things I picked out they were right there pulling different sizes or colors for me! And everything was totally affordable! Tammy and Angie do a phenomenal job cutting my hair! I've been to so many places where I'm just disappointed when I leave. As a guy, you'd think "it can't be that hard," but after botched hair lines, crappy fades, and having to just buzz my hair when I get home cause it looks so bad, I have finally found a place where I know they'll do a great job and I won't have to fix it myself. This place is great!! From the hair cutting/styling/coloring to the mani/pedis I have always had great service. They even have a boutique attached which has affordable and cute things I usually end up purchasing something before I leave. I have always used Tammy but sometimes end up with someone else and have had great service and friendly attitudes. I'm not from the area, but every time I'm anywhere close to Wichita Falls I make a point to stop at Serenity Salon. I love their boutique! All of my cutest clothes are from here. I've always had amazing customer service, and someone is always available to help me by getting different colors and sizes of things I've tried on.
