We've been to Lake Ozark a couple times over the last year (and will be returning regularly) and each time we've visited Sergio's. The ambiance inside is fun, very lively and colorful. Service is helpful and friendly and the prices are just right! Dining inside you'll get prompt service with smiles, and chips basket will be full until you say stop. We are from Southern California so we "know" Mexican food. Never seen a burrito covered in queso blanco before, but at Sergio's that's how they come and it is ABSOLUTELY HEAVEN! I highly recommend that to anyone even considering it. Just had to give this place a shout-out for that feature specifically. This is definitely the best Mexican restaurant we've had outside of California, pretty sure of it! read more

Did they get their liquor license renewed yet? Shut down this summer as much as they've been open! Too spicy for my taste but my guys love and miss it! Mexican restaurant without Margaritas isn't a go! read more

Not a great experience. Waiter seemed to be in a hurry to push us through and they were not busy. Actually, he was rude. He threw a go container on top of a partial plate of food in the table. The food was very disappointing, chicken fajitas were burnt. read more

Showed up and it was raining, closed on a Sunday at 7:30 and we had ubered from the resort. Total waste of money

Stopped in for lunch on Sunday and was disappointed in the food quality. Positives: Service was good and the place is very well decorated and clean. However: They didn't offer shredded beef (ground beef only). Steak fajitas and steak tacos were overcooked and very dry. Likely will not be back. read more

RUN TO THIS PLACE!!!! It looks super fancy but has lower prices than any restaurant we live near!! We walked in and were like UH OH we just want a cheap quick lunch and this looks FANCY...well it is..super gorgeous interior, beautiful view of the lake and hills...HUGE drinks, we got a pina colada and a daquiri and they were humongous, we watched them make them and it looked like they put the whole bottle of rum in, tasted GREAT, and were only 7$. For food we got pretty much everything on the menu. Shrimp cocktail was cheap but huge and FULL of shrimp and avocado. Ceviche was fresh and delicious which is RARE in the midwest. Service was top notch, came with chips and salsa, queso was SO good, we tried pretty much everything and it was all GREAT. Our bill was only 60$ for 4 people and we all got alcohol. Was there Tuesday night we both had the el jefe burrito. Awesome steak chicken shrimp rice and beans Also had the house margaritas excellent. Nice little place with good mexicane fare. It is fairly small though amd is unbelievably loud when busy. They really need to do something about the acoustics. Couldnt talk with someone acrosss the table. read more

Sergio's is the best cost effective place to eat at the lake and the Margarita's will have you calling an Uber.

Me and my husband discussed and Sergio's is the best Mexican restaurant we have ever been to! The salsa and chips, our plates Pollo Bandido and service was all incredible! The service was so fast and hardworking. So thrilled we chose to eat there tonight and definitely will be back. read more

Worst restaurant ever. Waited for over an hour for a seat as a single. offered to sit at the bar alone and continue to wait. Horrible hostess. Very unpleasant. When two spots opened up at the bar, a couple waiting less than five minutes was seated in front of me. When I questioned the hostess, I was ignored. The food was bad it all tasted as if it was frozen, the service was bad, we got absolutely zero refills, he would never except that he was wrong, he served us the wrong thing and told us we said the thing we never said. I didn't care for their food. I love Mexican and have eaten it all over including Mexico. The salsa that came with chips tasted like canned enchilada sauce. My husband and I both had fajitas. His was so salty he could barely eat them. Mine lacked all flavor. You get a large serving but that is not always a sign of good food. Pleasent staff. read more
