Very disappointed in this business, they agreed to support the schools by offering a buy one menu item get one free. I decided to grab dinner from Sergio's on my way home with the intention of using my education card. But, when I went to pay for it I was told I could only use it if I dined in. I brought to there attention that the card did not indicate that. The cashier told me that it was the owner's policy not his he couldn't do anything about it. So beware be sure you have the money to pay full price for your order unless you dine in! read more

Came here for the first time on Monday. Angel was our server and bartender. He was so nice and helpful but overall the restaurant seemed short staffed. Service was slow. Chips are very thin, crispy and delicious. We ordered a pitcher of the skinny jalepeno margarita. Nachos. Funky guacamole. Bean dip. Burrito and Chile relleno. Delicious! I had fish tacos, hubby had the Sergio's Burrito plate. The fish was tender and the red and green salsa was spot on, not too hot, but enough to know you had it. The burrito is served with a cheese sauce and covers the plate! We will do this again when at the Lake of the Ozarks! read more

We pulled into the parking lot and parked. We were about to get out and they turned off the open sign and locked the door. According to yelp they were still open for 21 minutes. We had a hard time finding them. Poor poor customer service. read more

I simply ordered the three enchilada plate and specified "beef with no onions" to go. When I got home, I realized they had given me chicken enchiladas. They were terrible and I threw them away! Our Uber driver had actually warned how bad the food is there, but we took a chance and went there anyway. I called and simply asked them to issue a refund for not giving me beef. Locally made Mexican food, friendl service, decent prices, small, family run business. This food is decent but I'd stay away from the 'margaritas' the pure overly sweet and pretty bad. We are big fans of Sergio's and visit most of our trips to the Lake. We love the fajitas, street tacos and Margarita's. We haven't stretched out to try any of their specialties since those Mexican standard items are all great. It seems we have the same server every time. He works hard and is friendly to one and all. The place is kept clean and tables are pretty well spaced out these days. The staff does not wear masks, nor to most of the customers. We've been regulars and have no intention of changing our ways. read more

Been going to Sergios since he first started way back in 2011 at la tapatía! Never had a bad experience and I've been at least a hundred times (no exaggeration whatsoever) my go to favorite are his al pastor tacos and his tamales! His queso is always on point, as is the salsa, and the Mexican rice is so incredibly fluffy! Sergios will always be the best Mexican restaurant around to me and none other will ever be able to top the authentic cuisine you get here!! Deserves way more than 5 stars!! read more

When we sat down (party of 4), they immediately gave four dishes of salsa. First positive interaction. The horchata was perfect, not too sweet with a nice cinnamon and rice flavor. I love Mexican tacos, and was pleasantly surprised that the al pastor was tastier than the carne asada. We also had the Sergio's burrito with carnitas, which was pretty large but one person with a healthy appetite can finish it. The enchiladas verdes were described as a 10/10 by a member of the group that always orders them at different Mexican restaurants and is a self described enchilada snob! Amazing tacos! Stopped by as we were craving mexican food. I ordered the carne asada and al pastor tacos. So perfect. Best tacos I have had in a long time. Came out piping hot. They did forget my cheese sauce I ordered for the chips but all was forgiven because the tacos were so good. Will definitely come back here the next time we are at the lake. Covid update- no one wore masks or gloves per the current state guidelines so found that odd. But also saw a lot of this while in the Ozarks as few places seemed to abide by the state guidelines. read more

My in laws have a place at the lake so we've been coming to Lake of the Ozarks for over a decade. We've found several places we like but had not found decent Mexican food until now. We went 3 Days in a row because my whole family fell in love with this place. I tried the beef tongue street taco and was not disappointed, it was so flavorful and satisfied my taco craving. My husband had the lunch fajitas every time because they were so amazing! Our vegetarian daughter had no problems finding something to eat and insisted we come back the next day for lunch. I guess I need to try Sergio's for dinner. I stopped in at lunchtime and wow. 20 minutes start to finish. This is ideal for those popping in for a quick lunch. Service is great and fast. The food was good and very reasonable. I had the luncheon burrito, rice and beans. They were spot on with chips and salsa. We are about sitting and eating chips, drinking margaritas, doing cheese dip and a great dinner. Price for great food is never an object. Maybe dinner is not a fast food experience. Shopped a little at the outlet malls in Osage Beach and decided to have a little Mexican food. We both can honestly say it they have the best tacos we've ever eaten. Hands down!!! I had one taco al pastre (sp). Pork marinaded in pineapple juice, OMH...delicious. The ground beef taco had a wonderful flavor too. My hubby had steak tacos and they were outstanding too. No pictures. I ate every bite. The pork tamale was good. Very different than what I had in Mexico. It was smothered with cheese and beef. But it was good. The chips and salsa were standard. More picante than salsa. But not spicy. I asked for spicy and they brought me habanero sauce which I used liberally. The real winner here was the taco. The El Pastor was ok. The regular taco was average. But the chorizo...I could've eaten three of those. Rich. Juicy. With onions and bright, fresh cilantro. Topped with hot red and green sauce. These things were so juicy they were double stacked in a soft corn shell. Lean over your plate or wear it. read more

Good variety of taco choices, some sounded gross like tripe or beef tongue tacos did not appeal to me but points for unusual offerings. Bathroom was clean but NO SOAP! That probably does not bother the local Ozark population but it always grosses me out. There was a dispenser but it was bone dry as of it had never had soap in it or not for a long time.
