I am utterly amazed and thoroughly frustrated with how long it has taken to get the locks changed…read moreon our community mailbox. Apparently, this is the post office that is in charge of this for Chilliwack and the process should take 3 days. I requested via the proper online process that the locks be changed as we recently moved and the locks had not been changed in over 30 years. Just to be safe, I was advised that this was prudent and an easy process that we were entitled to. I requested the change MID-APRIL. With frequent contact with the supervisors at the Federal Canada Post online website, I finally got our locks changed on JUNE 2nd! I NOW HAVE NO WAY TO GET MY MAIL AS I WAS NEVER CONTACTED WITH INSTRUCTIONS OF HOW TO GET THE KEYS. Locks were changed due to Federal Office calling over a couple of weeks at least to the Chilliwack Post Office Manager. He personally called me to apologize and let me know that the locks would be changed June 2nd and that he would call back about getting the keys. It has been over a week. No call. I started going to local post offices asking if they had keys for our address and found them at London Drugs. I was just thrilled to be done with the process finally. BUT THE KEYS DID NOT FIT THE NEW LOCK! I HAVE NOT BEEN ABLE TO ACCESS MY MAIL FOR OVER A WEEK. I have property taxes due in a couple of weeks. Nobody knows where the keys are.... I CAN ONLY CONCLUDE THAT THIS ULTIMATELY IS THE MANAGER'S RESPONSIBILITY AND THEREFORE, I GIVE HIM A ONE STAR. Staff have all been polite, respectful and apologetic about the situation but nobody takes responsibility or knows how to fix it!!!

Really I just want to talk to someone a real person to find out if some of my mail is still at the office as I'm waiting desperately for it. Pathetic service nobody cares just rather you talk to a virtual assistant. Completely disgusted how this process is. Zero stars.
