So I contacted the Post Master at the Post Office in Maple Falls and he put an alert on my address to assure I would get my mail delivered correctly. This happened because a sub was delivering mail that day they don't know the area as well and it's easy to miss my mailbox unless you drive just a little farther. I very much appreciate his willingness to work with me. As far as the sub's making mistakes. Unless you can truly put yourself in someone else's shoes to really understand what it's like to do what they do you should work with them vs just complaining. I love this post office! The postmaster and all of the team members have always treated me with…read morefriendliness and respect. This includes a time a few months ago when I went in and was particularly down that day. One of the post office workers had a tiny Mickey and Minnie mouse at their station. They made me laugh and smile. The post master happened to come up while we were talking about how much those tiny little toys changed my mood. To my surprise, they gave them to me! It really made my day. Now i have tiny little Minnie and Mickey at my desk to make me smile when I start to get stressed. His car was paid off so they ended up totaling it and he's now navigating the process of paperwork. He was unsure how to fill out his paperwork, and I guess brought the papers into the notary blank. She very kindly helped him through the process of filling out the paperwork, getting it notarized and getting it mailed off. I appreciate her kindness immensely and wanted to make sure it was acknowledged. My dads words: "Everything went well... The person was very nice and experienced... Explained everything and helped me fill out papers... The lady helping me was the Notary and knew all about what I had to do... She even knew how the mailing label was supposed to work... I was happy with the service..." So if anyone is looking for a notary on island this sounds like the lady you want to have helping you!
