When the man in front of was being helped another staff had just come out and was able to help me. I thought I had seen online that if you're unable to print they can do it at one of these centers. Apparently not but the staff was still able to print out a temporary license for me. I don't think I was in there for more then five minutes tops.

Despite having all the necessary documentation the employee was dismissive throughout the entire process and claimed that original paperwork was needed in order to process my request for an APP. This was not the case as I was able to obtain the permit from the Bradford service Ontario office with the same emailed copies of the application in hand. They made no effort to explain or show me where it is stated that original copies are necessary which is odd in this day and age of e-signatures being accepted throughout. Instead, they seemed content to rush me out the door as quickly as possible. Overall, I was extremely disappointed with the level of customer service I received. It felt like the employee lacked the knowledge of what a acceptable and not acceptable permit application is. While I understand that every business has its off-days, the experience left me with a negative impression and I would hesitate to visit this office in the future.

Facilities includes a 6 lane leisure pool with a slide, Oak Ridges Moraine Eco Centre, a fitness and aerobic studio, a gymnasium and more. There are also various city sponsored programs held year round in the centre. We ended up coming here for one of the Moonlight Movies Night. The set up is perfect utilizing the nature amphitheatre like landscape at the back of the Centre. Watching a movie under the stars on a hot summer night is such a treat!

There are activity and program rooms for multi purposes but from what I have seen, it's mainly used for educational purposes. They have a large swimming pool area with two pools. One for children and the other for adults or the more advanced. The Oak Ridges Community Centre also has an aerobics centre, fitness centre and a gymnasium. It's a really nice community centre. One of the best that I have seen yet. I went there for a Volleyball tournament and probably pick up sports a couple of times. The floors are well maintained and they have relatively high ceilings which is great for certain sports. I would definitely recommend this facility as it is one of the most beautiful community centre that I have seen with a wide range of facilities to utilize. Only problem is there is not really a change room for the gymnasium. Overall a great community centre. Check it out yourself and you will agree. JimStar Out!!

From what I can see, it looks like the library doesn't have much accommodating for people who are: -studying -doing home work -doing their phds -building a business There is only a single long table. The front area is all coffee tables and lounge chairs. They should have installed more long tables. Hopefully they will make this change at some point. Perhaps look to the Toronto Reference Library

Just chilling here in Aurora Library is a great relaxing experience. Then this lady talking on the phone so loud wake me up from my dream.....I don't really want to know about her love life really... Wifi access only offers to library card holders.. so out of towners like me are out of luck!

Happy 150th Birthday, Aurora!…read more On February 3, 2013, Aurora celebrates its 150th anniversary (sesquicentennial). The town did organize a special day of event in the Town Park where there was skating, horse carriage ride, free hot chocolate and pop corns and some other family type entertainment. It was a really nice afternoon out for the residents: young and old to get together for some fun! I have been to Aurora numerous time over the last 3 years. A lot of people might ask what's up there? Surprisingly there are tons of interesting events and businesses in Aurora that worth visit. Hopefully Aurora will keep it's small town charm as it is growing in a rapid pace. Interesting fact from Wiki: - Aurora was the childhood home of Lester B. Pearson, Prime Minister of Canada from 1963 to 1968, when his father, Rev. Edwin Pearson, was the Methodist minister. - And for Hockey Fan: Tie Domi, Norm Dennis, Hap Holmes (goalie that won 4 Stanley Cup!) and other NHL players - The Stronach family of Magna international is based here too!
