Eric has come to fix several major problems with the motorhome that Campingworld could not fix. One being the slide that would stick out and not retract. He fixed that easily. The other was a furnace that would not run above sea level which meant we couldn't camp anywhere else except at Campingworld. He fixed that. Literally hours before I was to leave on a 3 week road trip, the lock failed on my motorhome door and I was locked out. It was stuck in my driveway at home. I called Service-Rite first as soon as they opened. A woman answered the phone promptly and I explained my situation. She said, "What do you want us to do about it?" I then reminded her that she works for a mobile RV repair shop and I have a RV that needs to be repaired. The conversation went down hill from there. After a short discussion, she finally said that they are booked up all morning and suggested that I call Bob Howle RV. I did contact Mike at Bob Howle who was fantastic. He explained that he doesn't keep the locks in stock because there are too many variations out there and it would be a at least a week before he could get the part. He did give me some options though of how I could address the situation. I will say that Service-Rite did me a favor by telling me to call a high quality, reputable RV repair shop. Otherwise, I can not judge their quality of work or value because they made almost zero effort to assist me. read more

I called Service Rite yesterday morning with a problematic water heater in our motorhome. Mike took the time to help me diagnose the problem over the phone and even provided some tips in case I wanted to tackle it myself. We scheduled an appointment for early next week and Mike said there was an outside chance that one of his techs might get to us that day. A couple of hours later I got a call from Sam who said he could be at our coach in about ten minutes. Sam was polite, professional and gave us complete confidence that he could fix our problem. An hour later our water heater was working like new and at a very reasonable price. Sam even stopped by later in the day to be sure everything was working properly. Called for an easy repair of a bracket, but they were too busy and only have 1 technician. So don't depend on them when there is a repair need unless you have the time to wait until it is convenient for them. If you are on the road travelling and time is limited, DO NOT CALLTHEM. I understand being busy, but I also feel when you say talking care of customers is number one that means prioritizing repairs to meet the customers' needs. My sister and brother-in-law were visiting us while traveling in their RV. They were connected to our full hook ups (power, water, sewer) next to our house and using their heat via the 30 amp power. When they were preparing to leave in another day or two they checked their Winnebago RV propane furnace and it wasn't working. The igniter wasn't kicking in so the furnace would only blow cool air. I told them they should call Service Rite RV Mobile Repair. My sister called them and Mike, the owner arrived the following day and repaired the furnace. It works great now. He changed out the circuit board during his evaluation and re-connected the connections. Mike is a very nice gentleman and knows his stuff. Made an appointment 2 weeks prior to the actual date of the appt. The day before they call to ask if they can come by since they have a lot of work and might have to reschedule my apt. I said I was at work but I'm going to be off next week and any day works except Monday. They said ok I'll check the schedule and see what we can do I said ok just give me a call back with the day. Never heard back from them. I called the day of the apt to see what was going on since I didn't hear back from them and didn't know if they rescheduled me or not. The lady on the phone acted like I was complaining or something and was a little rude, so I'm informed her I'm just trying to get info on when they can do it. That way I can be ready and I understand that you are busy. I just want to know what day they can come out she got an attitude and said "I can't give you a date they will call when they do." At that point I had to cancel. I took the day off and made the apt in advance to avoid this. I was really hoping this was going to be my go to company. read more

Called Service Rite RV Repair to fix an electrical issue with my fifth wheel. Initially I was a little disappointed when the guy didn't show up as promised. I called and he said he'd be over in about an hour. Three hours later he called (very apologetic) and was at my door with minutes. This is a growing business and they have tons of work. They need to work on their scheduling a bit, but once the repairman went to work he really knew what he was doing and had the issues resolved within an hour. The best part about this story is that because he didn't show up at the time he said he would he didn't charge me a dime for the repair work!! How awesome is that!!
