Due to unfortunate circumstances we required a cleaning service after our sump pump quit in our semi finished basement. We called Ames and their work load was as such they referred us to Boone.. and they couldn't get to us for a week.. so the initial removing of the water and throwing out the ruined stuff we did... But today Joe and Ben from Service Masters out of Boone came.. they are two of the nicest young men.. strong, ambitious, courteous, and efficient. Just awful. Did an awful job of cleaning carpets. Showed up over 2 and a half hours late without any notification. It looked like they ran a vacuum cleaner over the carpets and that was it. Didn't even clean the stairs. Asked them to come back and do it over and the guy they sent was incredibly rude and refused to do anything about it. Poor customer service. Just an all around poor excuse of a company. DON'T USE THEM. read more

They were okay... I live in a small space, but they have a minimum charge of $90. So they could have done another 200 square feet and still charged me $90, but alas, I didn't have another 200 square feet. So, next time, I'm going to try for a company that doesn't have a minimum charge. read more

I've never used a carpet cleaning service before, so I'm not sure what to expect. The men who came to clean our carpet were prompt, courteous, and friendly. I wasn't able oversee the cleaning process, looking afterwards the carpet was generally clean, but the spots and stains that were discovered when we moved out all the furniture were still there. There was even a light spot still there from just a few hours before the carpet cleaners got there. I scrubbed the spots with Resolve and they came up fairly easily. For a 800 sq.ft. 2 bedroom apartment it ran us about $200. For that much I would have hoped that it wouldn't have been necessary to spend 30 minutes or so getting out fairly minor spots and stains after they cleaned the carpet. read more

Needed our carpets cleaned for some showings of our home that is on the market. No one showed up when they said they would, then when we called to ask about it, they said they went to some other job and wouldn't be able to come back for days. They were apparently not going to let us know they weren't coming at all. Would NOT recommend them ever. read more
