El de recepción me hablo y vio el carro, me dijo que por ser las 430 no se podía porque el trabajo iba ser de una hora. Le dije esta bien a qué hora le llego y me dijo temprano. Llegue por la mañana alas 8:30am y deje el carro por la entrada y también todo esto está en video en la oficina. Entre ala oficina y deje mi llave y me dijo el de recepción que iba ser una hora y media. Me lo cambio pero bueno ya estaba ahí. Le dijo que si podía sacar mi café del carro. En ese momento llegó otro carro entro a dejar las llaves la persona. Regrese mi llave y me senté en la recepción. Vi que metieron el carro del señor que entro después de mi primero aunque yo llegue primero. Cuando entro el de recepción le pregunté si le podía hacer una pregunta. Le pregunto por que lo metió al el primero. No se si porque soy mujer y el otro carro lo tenia un hombre. Pero nomas se trabo el de recepción y también le pregunté porque ahora esto era una hora y media y no una hora si yo llegue primero. Me regreso las llaves y me dijo mejor otro día que lo puse nervioso. Nunca grité nunca me puse agresiva solo simplemente quería saber el porqué. No tenía respuesta el de recepción. Así que no quiso trabajar el día anterior por la tarde y no quiso trabajar por la mañana temprano. Parece como que no quieren dinero por sus nervios en este local. Ya estoy en otra parte donde me tomaron el carro me dieron más café y todos respetan. Pésimo servicio y mentirosos, así no se trata a la gente. Not only did they do the absolute worst paint job ever, but every time they told me to pick up the car the car was never ready. It takes an hour to get there, then when I arrived the car was never ready, not even close to ready. Each time they made me wait for hours and then three times told me to come back. After my third trip to Tijuana to pick up my car I finally gave up. The lost time and the cost of having to repaint at a reputable painter in the US far exceeds what I "saved" taking my car to Mexico. What disturbed me the most was that a very large and "reputable" California new and used car dealer was having their cars painted there. Makes you wonder. Be very careful next time you buy a used car at any dealer in San Diego county.

I paid almost 10 times the amount to SpeeDee Auto Repair in Tijuana and my vehicle was returned to me in half-repaired condition. Basically, if you speak Spanish with an accent, best stay far away from this shop. They will take you for as much dollar as they can squeeze. I suspect they deliberately broke parts of my car to make me pay for unnecessary repairs. In essence, this place is a trap for anyone with the misfortune of needing their disabled car serviced here. Not only will they not fix your vehicle but they will try to harm it so they can extract as much from you as possible. Oh, the consumer protection agency in Mexico, Profeco, is useless against these crooks as well. They will not do anything to stop these people from deliberately breaking your vehicle to extort money from you. The people running this business are: Paolo Marquez and Francisco Guerrero.

I brought my Honda Fit here for a full repaint. I was really excited because of all the other reviews. Luis (the owner) and I had spoken for a few weeks via chat and phone calls over Whatsapp. He genuinely seemed like a good guy who does quality work. We agreed on a price and i drove from LA to Tijuana to drop the car off. No issues on drop off Returning 2 weeks later for pickup. I noticed a few things - Pillar trim around the door was loosely connected and clearcoat on the bumper was dried into a clump. They sanded the clumped up clearcoat and buffed it on the spot, kind of shocking to see but seemed to be ok. The trim they just kind of readjusted it and it fit more snug into place -- I didnt think anything of it until it flew off on the drive home to LA! Thats when i really inspected what was happening with the trim around the whole car. Colima had actually broken most of the pieces of trim on the door and glued them back on, NO they didnt tell me. In fact, Luis only came out with this once we spoke on the phone and i told him all the cars door trim was loose and covered with glue. He blamed his workers for breaking the plastic trim and his solution was to use glue to try and permanently glue these pieces to the steel frame. To be clear, Luis had ZERO intention of telling me anything. It was only after I called him that he told me anything. He then offered to buy me new pieces of trim and mail them to me. I thought OK, this is a workable solution. The only issue is - He Never Sent Them. Over the course of 4 months, I texted and called him 5 times and he told me over and over - Sorry its been a busy week, Ill send later this week. Guess what? Never came, no call no text, nothing. Every time I'd follow up, he'd tell me " This Week I Promise" These are pieces that cost $300 in the US (and thats from EBay) probably much higher from the dealer. On my final attempt with Luis, I offered to pay the shipping or send him a label (That would still be worth it to me) but not even that worked. He still blew me off So does he do quality work (apart from breaking things on your car and then hiding it) ? The answer is only time will tell. the paint looks like a new paint job now, but my concern is they are not honest people so who knows what kind of paint they used on my car and it very well may start peeling off in a year.. We agreed on factory quality paint but seeing how he handled this whole situation with the trim, I would NEVER trust them with another car. I would have been a lifelong customer and he screwed me over a few pieces of plastic trim. Its just unfathomable how anyone would run a business like this. Anyway, thats my 2 cents. Bring your car here at your own peril. The price seems great, but its really not if they break your car in the process

It also had a bad oil leak problem. I was happy to see so many Chevys being worked on in their work bays. This was October 2019. I picked it up 2 weeks later (Lifters/Camshaft/Oil Pan) and it seemed to run like a charm. After a week in Ensenada, the 'old' knock was back and I had to take it in for a 2nd time, argh! One week later it was ready for pickup and I drove it back to Los Angeles and I thought it was fixed. Alas, no knock anymore but the coolant is still leaking. I have spoken to Johnny on the phone and he has assured me that I have at least a 9-12mo month guarantee, so I am planning to head down next week to have them give it another go. It's a father-son business and they have a very well-run shop; and I do appreciate their care and attentiveness. I am just very nervous that I spent over $2k and they haven't been able to completely resolve my issues. I will come back to this review and write what happens on this next visit. It'll either go from 4 stars to 5 stars- depending on results... Fingers-crossed! Update: Early March 2020. We finally found the time to return to AutoServicio Johnny's. Johnny & his guys took another deep look again under the hood. It seems that my coolant problem will never be fixed unless I replace the engine. Bummer, but livable; I just have to be vigilant with watching the coolant levels every few gas fill-ups. The knocking noise still happens occasionally (not consistent), but they did look to see if they could locate why. It still comes and goes. If it gets worse I will take it down to them again, because at the moment it is infrequent. I do have 193k miles on this Suburban but it really does serve as our workhorse and I would like to keep it going! While checking out the old coolant issues/engine knock again, I also had them replace the fuel pump, headlight bulb, and a ticking noise coming from the dashboard (A/C actuator). They fixed all those issues easily and at a good rate. I do like their customer service, and they have stood behind their work each time I show up at their doorstep. I've never felt they were dismissive -of me or my persistent questions. Hope to try their work in the future on our other vehicles. As long as their pricing remains competitive, and they stay as supportive as they have been in the past, I will return!
