If I could rate this company with zero I would. DO NOT ENGAGE with this company. Run away. They talk a good story but implementation and service is the worst I have experienced in 30 years in business. The call the center is in the Philippines. When you need local help you need to go through layers of "so-called" offsite help. When you need a tech to be onsite especially when doing the cutover. They told us you can do it yourselves. That didn't work and now they are sending a tech over since our phone service still doesn't work when we asked several times for a tech to be onsite. It has taken us over a month from porting to still not having phone service. Their solution is that you have to buy more services which then takes LONGER to implement. I get companies are enamored with saving money with outsourcing, but at the end you end up losing clients with the crappy service. Wake up ServPac. We are trying to help local companies, but you need to step it up! read more

Be careful before you make a contract with this company. In the terms of agreement it looks like a 3 year deal. It's actually written in big letters, but it says 5 years in a smaller letter font in the order sheet. After 4 years in their contract, we had to cut costs during this hard pandemic situation and we are down sizing and wanted to terminate the contract. But they are still asking an early termination fee over $1800. No other communication company recently is asking for a 5 year contract. It's sad... In addition, they raised the monthly fee from $136.07 on the contract to $146.31 without any notice. It is automatic pay from my checking account, so nothing I can do. read more

I have had this service for many years. First, I would like to say that they are twice the price of any competitors including spectrum and hitel. Last week my network went down due to a power outage. I contacted their service department which is a Call center in the Philippines. The technicians claimed to be engineers, but knew nothing of the problem or this type of network at all. The key insisting it was a part that I don't even have. They refused to send anyone to fix it either. I had to hire a computer repair tech to come and find out one of their switches failed. Now they won't even send me a new one. If you use this company be prepared for virtually no service at all if you are down. Also, be prepared for variable, un advertised prices that vary on the corrupt building management they are dealing with. terrible read more

Small business owner here. I had both Hawaiian Telcom and Oceanic business class service for Internet and wanted a faster, more reliable connection than DSL or Cable modem. Both companies offer dedicated access but it was mind boggling expensive. In my research I found Servpac dedicated internet access through their Luhina subsidiary. After much consideration, we went with a 20x20 circuit from Servpac. From what I understand, Servpac leases the physical lines wholesale from Hawaiian telcom's central office to my office but the internet connectivity is by Servpac. From contract signing to live circuit was just over a week. HT engineers install the twisted wire cabling from the telecom closet to my network system and then Servpac engineers installed the networking hardware that terminates to Ethernet. Everyone involved both on the HT and Servpac side was really professional. We had our static IP information programmed in our firewall prior to install so the connection went live as soon as the Ethernet was plugged in. Overall a great process from start to finish with Servpac. I am happy the big telcom companies have some competition now. Businesses need more choices and incumbents like HT and Oceanic should not just get a pass because they are the only choice. I'll be canceling my DSL circuit with Hawaiian Telcom. I hope the cancellation will not result in billing errors as we have experienced in the past with them. Servpac also offers voice over IP service for your phone lines. I just stumbled upon this company's Yelp page and was shocked at how high the star rating is. Here's my complaint to the Better Business Bureau from a year ago. DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY. My company, *** ****** had a contract for IT services from Servpac. We also had two other services from them, Internet and telephone. Since their prices were too high I informed them that I would not be extending my contracts. The issue was that all three contracts ended at different times. The Internet service ended in February. I asked Servpac to help with some IT work in regards to the transition to our new Internet service provider. They REFUSED to do any work unless we renewed our contracts for both Internet and telephone. After repeatedly emails asking for their help, an employee named Cathy B***** asked me to drive down to Servpac's office to speak with the CEO, Richard Z****. They inexplicably gave me a tour of their office and bragged about how many clients they had. When we got to the conference room for the meeting, I informed Richard that my IT consultant would be joining the meeting via conference call. Richard immediately got nervous and suggested that was unnecessary. I refused and had my IT consultant call. Richard then repeated his demands that we extend our Internet and phone services. I declined and left the meeting. Richard followed me as I leaving and shouted at me that I was "rude". Servpac has since not provided any IT services to us and my company has had to use an IT consultant to transition to the new Internet service. Since they refuse to provide they service they were hired for, I am asking that the contract between Servpac and *** ****** be terminated. read more

I have two relationships with Servpac. The first is as a customer of their second-to-none voice over IP phone service for local businesses. The second is as an IT consultant who researches and recommends phone systems for my clients. I have referred close to a dozen of my own clients to Servpac, and did so knowing a) my clients would be happy b) Servpac would always work with me to resolve problems and never point the finger. I receive no "kick-back" for these referrals. I simply want my clients to be happy with what I recommend. Servpac has not failed me or my clients in this regard. They have always exceeded expectations. There is no other local or mainland based provider of VoIP phone service that can match the value and features of Servpac's system. This is not the place to get technical, but it does come down to technology, and Servpac is a decade ahead of the competition. I've made charts comparing everyone's features versus price and the facts tell the story. The key to Servpac is that the owner is the engineer. They don't rent software, servers, and networks from another provider and then blame their own provider. They don't have a revolving door of technicians and account reps who have to be educated (by you) about your needs. You call them and say, "Hey, this is Kent. Can you forward my calls to my cell until I come back from vacation?" And they say, "Sure Kent, when do you return?". They'll email when you get back to make sure you want your calls to resume ringing at your desk. They do impossible things, such as integrate a door intercom that can open the lock from certain phones, or page a warehouse with a simple IP speaker instead of an amplifier and extra wires. They can make a conference room VoIP phone run wirelessly if you don't have network jacks nearby. It's all possible because the owner is constantly improving and upgrading their products. Servpac is one of the true good guys. They are not interested in expanding beyond their ability to serve their customers. Their priority is your satisfaction. When our internet access went down due to line work in Kaimuki, the owner met me on a Sunday to move my client's mail server's to his data center. He doesn't just go the extra mile for me, he's done it for my clients as well. More importantly, his entire staff is like that. Charo, Charity, Kathy, Tomoki, Wendy, they're all great people. If you're in the market to replace your old PBX box, or just modernize your communications, you'd be fortunate to become a Servpac customer. We've had Servpac since 2010, and have been extremely happy with the service. My favorite part is that voicemails come as emails so I don't even have to be in the office to get them. Such a wonderful feature. Customer service has been very responsive. Highly recommend Servpac. The only "bad" part is, since we're closing the business, I can't have them personally!! read more

We've been a customer of Servpac for the last two years. They host and manage our servers and provide our fiber internet connection. They are technically very competent but slow to respond to support issues opened using their online system. I find you have to call them or the case may languish for many hours...or longer. When you call it is more like you've reached a call center and nobody knows who you are or what your business is. From the network side the internet speeds are slow and file downloads take a very long time. If you do sign up with them make sure that you get SLA's in writing along with any promised services spelled out in detail, they tend to forget what promises they make if it's not in writing. This is of course true for any long term contract you get into with anyone...if it's not in writing, it is not enforceable. Also check your invoices as they have a lot of extra "fees". Make sure they disclose all fees when presenting what your monthly payment will be... if you don't, it is quite a shock to find out after the fact. read more

I own a small to mid-size business. We started using Servpac about 6 years ago to cut our Hawaiian telcomm costs by switching to Voice Over IP phones. Later we also switched to them for high-speed internet and a DSL line. All the services are stable and perform as expected. What's outstanding is the service from Servpak. Their customer support is local, responsive and easy to access. It's a night and day difference from the national carriers. Highly recommend them for that reason alone. I am so glad that I am no longer stuck on endless hold with Oceanic, Hawaiin Telcom and now Spectrum. read more

Professional local service. I have dealt with Hawaiian Telcom and Oceanic in the past and they always route you to a mainland call center. They have very little information and everytime they transfer you, you have to give them your information again, repeat what the issue is, etc. Between hold times and transfers, it can take hours to get someone to actually assist you.
