The people before us had not completed many of the spring cleaning type of activities plus we did some remodeling, so need less to say we knew it wasn't going to be a normal cleaning. I told them over the phone the situation and the said that will be fine but it will be extra $25. When the cleaning crew(2 of them didn't speak a word of English) showed up I walked them through the house pointing out each and every area I wanted cleaned. Once we reviewed the house they asked for $150 more than what I was quoted on the phone. I called the company and they said the charge would be $250 based on my specifications. I had to leave to work while my mother came to watch over. When my mother would point out items that were not cleaned properly the lady would talk back and told her to do it herself. Once I came back from work and saw what was completed I called the company immediately complained. Jessica picked up the phone and told me to send pictures of what was not cleaned. Said she will try her best to work something out. Next day I called back and she said I would have to wait for the "owner" to come back to Dallas as she is currently overseas she said she will check the availability of one of the other cleaning crews. A day later I called back and then the tone changed saying the pictures I sent don't show any dirt which they clearly do. I mentioned over the phone that the areas I was showing were not even touched at all (inside kitchen cabinets, tub, shower, above the kitchen cabinet, blinds and etc...).. Then I was told these areas are not on the list, to witch I stated I know that's why I paid $100 more to ensure these items are taken care of. Make a longer story shorter they would not respond and asked me to stop calling. All I wanted was for a crew to come out and clean what I paid for. And you know, I was right. Service was simple to discuss, schedule, and execute. We spoke back and forth via Yelp's message feature, at first, and discussed the price. My apartment was 720 sq ft, had one bedroom and was completely vacant at the time of clean. I never met the cleaner because I was at work, however, my apartment was left clean and secure. Everything turned out beautifully. There were a few small spots left ignored, but the carpet was deodorized and cleaned, my sinks were sparkling, my tub and shower were clean, and my stove looked almost immaculate. The inside of my fridge was clean too. They sent me pictures of my cleaning, and I was pleased. I nearly shed a tear because it looked so damn good. ======== WHY NOT 5 STARS? ========= Move-out cleans, as an industry standard, don't seem to include ovens, cabinets, or freezers. Nearly every place I received a quote from wanted an extra $20 - $50 for the oven, as well as additional prices for other extras. I paid extra for the stove to be cleaned out - it was an a la carte, but apparently I did not look at the detailed cleaning list to see whether shelves in the cabinets or freezers were included. They weren't so it was at the time of payment processing (Square) that I discovered what wasn't cleaned. Due to this, I was a little less enthused. However, I will admit that the cleaning lady/admin reached out to me to explain this information was on the website, and that some of their standards of what was included was based on industry norm. I don't have time to double check, so I accepted it as - is, and turned my apartment in. Let me BE SURE to tell you THEY OFFERED TO COME BACK and clean or remedy anything I wasn't satisfied with. They are willing to communicate with you and make sure you get what you've wanted. I didn't call them back because my complex was pleased with the job they did, and informed me that I had a zero balance for apartment damages or issues that needed to be fixed/cleaned. ... So heh, maybe they were right and the little things I worried about actually were insignificant? I would likely work with them again. They're fast, simple, easy to work with, and quick to communicate with, with fair prices. (Because one company wanted $199 and NO.)
