We were referred to CWF by A#1 Air. Project Manager Oscar showed up to assess the damage later that same day (Wednesday, Jan 17th)and walked us through the process. During his time here, we contacted our insurance company to file a claim which was initiated within 20 minutes with a representative over the phone. Since Oscar was present, it facilitated communication. Oscar gave us a two-hour window between 8am and 10am and said that we should expect to receive a call from dispatch informing us that they are on their way. He also took a series of pictures before he left so that he could inform the crew of the events that transpired. On Saturday, January 20th, the mitigation crew removed a portion of the engineered flooring that was affected and promptly placed industrial fans on and around it. They informed us that they would be back to pick up the equipment (in 4 days) after the area has completely dried and answered any questions we had. Kris, Sheldon, Gabriel, and Oscar were professional and knowledgeable - explaining everything about the process and I appreciate the time and patience they took on a Saturday morning to help us. We are going to go with CWF for restoration as well.

Sure enough, they came out to investigate, but it immediately became apparent that they were only interested in seeing how much they could get away with charging us for very little damage. Only one small section of the dry wall in our ceiling had a water stain. However, the teenage representative from Dalworth proceeded to inform me that I would need to bust up almost my entire house of expensive engineered hardwood flooring after he attempted to fool me with false readings from his device. I have my wife as a witness to the highly erroneous information that he provided. At that point, I told him we would not be touching any of the floors, as there was no way there was water underneath them. I even contacted a professional company who came out the next day and verified that indeed there was no water underneath any of our floors because the type of engineered hardwood we have is extremely sturdy and held together well and that a lot of water would have to had sit on these floors for several days or even weeks before any damage could occur. In fact, a small amount of water from the leak was only on the floors for less than ONE hour. After I instructed Dalworth to leave, all they did was turn on two fans and split. And for turning on two fans, they charged me $1,300. I will NEVER use this company again for anything and I would most certainly NOT recommend them to anyone.

They were only responsive after I had contacted them 3 or 4 times. i was told the whole process would only take a few days but it went on for months (most of that with no communication from them). Overall it was a terrible experience and I would NEVER hire them again.

Shower, tub, floors, tile, lighting, electrical, tile, fans/vents, painting and more. I give them my highest recommendation. See before and after photos. Excellent communication, beginning with their response to my initial request for information and throughout the whole project. The project manager and even the owner were available to respond to questions seven days a week. At the end of every day they provided a progress report along with what to expect the following day. They made regular visits to my house to inspect the work in progress. Even after completion of the project they stayed in touch to make sure everything was to my satisfaction. All the workers were courteous and professional. Each day they carefully cleaned the work and adjacent areas. At the end of the project a housecleaning service thoroughly cleaned and touched up. It amazes me how other companies and individuals didn't respond to my inquiries or ghosted me after promising to provide a quote. Importantly, ICO is local with brick and mortar offices in the metroplex. I would be leery of all those virtual companies who devote most of their resources to sales and marketing and then sub the work to random contractors.

Ray, the head of the company, is extremely knowledgeable and very kind. They have an interior designer, Nohemi, that has a great eye, and we loved her design portfolio. Our budget and time frame ended up being a little tighter than we had originally hoped due to some required foundation and electrical work, so we had to scale back our project and go with a smaller business. However, we are hoping when we do our next project, which will be the kitchen, that Ray and Nohemi will be available. Would love to work with them beyond just the design phase.

YES, their were Construction delays and hiccups along they way. It's called Construction for a reason. But what we love about HDP is they stand behind their work and they are as honest and trustworthy as you get. Just incredible people. It is 2025 and we again have a few projects we want to do and some things we want updated. Ray was able to reach out to the subcontractor who worked with us during our 2016 remodel to make changes to our home security system and cameras. Seriously, almost 10 years later. We had a custom built steel gate installed in 2016. Ray still knew who built it and knew what would be involved at adding a new coat of paint. Ray also helped with moving us over to one system like Ring, Nest,or Wyze. Instead of a hodge podge of various products. This has been huge. During that process he reminded us that the new code requires 3 smoke/fire/carbon detectors. We have referred several friends to HDP and allowed individuals to tour our home and inspect his work. Because we continue to be that impressed. Last week we again gave him a long list of normal wear and tear items to more extensive projects and he submitted his review timely and accurately along with a couple suggestions. We look forward to beginning the next list of projects.

Subject: Re: Carpet Cleaning/Restoration One Ms. Chacon, I am sorry to hear that the rugs were not cleaned to your satisfaction. It is troubling, however, that we were not made aware of your dissatisfaction prior to you hiring another contractor. This makes it impossible for us to ensure the quality control of our process . The rugs were taken off site for cleaning using a hot water extraction process and returned fully wrapped in plastic to your property. It would be incredibly strange for this to have unfolded as you described. I am sure you can understand that it would be very difficult for a company to simply not charge for services that were rendered without ever having been told about or seen the problem or even being given proof that another contractor was actually paid to do the exact same work. It is also difficult to understand why you would have given us a feedback survey (attached) on April 11, nearly two weeks after we returned the rugs, and yet failed to mention your discontent. I also noticed that the photos you provided were taken on April 14 based on their naming convention. Is it possible that the rugs may have been soiled over the last few weeks after they were returned to your home? As a reminder, in accordance with the work authorization you signed, "The Customer is personally responsible for any and all deductible(s), depreciation, services, and/or charges not paid by insurance." All work was completed as invoiced, and I cannot make any changes at this point. Additionally, as I spent time reviewing your invoices, I did notice that we billed you for full service cleaning of your contents (towels and blankets). Since those items were never taken by our company and, instead, cleaned by you at your home as you stated in your survey, they should not have been billed by our company, and you should seek reimbursement directly from your insurance company at the rates they allot for the homeowner cleaning their own contents. This is so the insurance company is not paying the much higher prices they would pay to a professional business with overhead. I will remove the following two invoices from our system: Clean blanket - king size - Full service $86.12 Clean towel - Full service 52.58 Finally, as I was in the room listening to your conversation with Jeff regarding reconstruction when it occurred, I can assure you that he in no way called you a "lament," nor did he treat you in any type of derogatory manner. He simply stated that we require the approved reconstruction estimate on every project, and that we do not provide bids or perform services for less that what is paid out by insurance for those services. I do understand that you have been under a lot of stress lately due to a combination of events, but I am entirely confident that our company has provided exceptional service throughout this process. Please let me know if you or your adjuster have any further questions. Thank you. Blake Vaughn

YHE actually should stand for Your Home Exploiter…read more I have only one regret in this life, and that is letting this company into my home. From the very beginning they rush you, make you sign something to only work with them (sketchy, red flag) and then they do mediocre work. They're going to take advantage of you and your home when you're in an emergency type situation. As immoral as they come. They messed up my bathroom tile, then made me feel bad when I asked them to do it right. As if I was asking too much when they didn't do it right in the first place? They also installed a random circular silver drain in the shower, when I asked for and ordered a square gold drain. Hello? The owner, Michael, simply chalked it up to "hiring workers that don't speak English." If that doesn't tell you all you need to know... The attention to detail and doing a decent, not even good, job is just not there. They didn't finish caulking behind the toilet or on top of the counter. They scratched the paint off of 3 doors, and refused to compensate or correct. They got dirt all over the walls and even got paint on my front door and hallway tile. They littered cigarette butts and a giant sponge (???) in my front yard. They left an entire garbage can of trash in my front yard. They even messed up my garage door, when that is an area of the house they were NOT authorized to do ANY work in. Who knows where else they were messing around while I wasn't home? When I asked them to remove the master toilet, I specifically and repeatedly asked them to cover the hole in the ground. When I arrived home two days later, I walked in to find the sewage hole completely gaping open, releasing toxic sewage fumes into my home and bedroom. Unbelievably thoughtless, careless, and downright hazardous/dangerous. They started trying to charge us hundreds of dollars at the end for things we already discussed, and then when we tried to talk to the owner, he basically said he'd just hand us over to his lawyer. He knows he is taking advantage of us, so he didn't want to discuss the money details with us. You can see in the attached videos/photos that they also threaten to take legal action against us, should we post an honest review. They don't have any basis to do so, but just want to scare customers into silence. That's why they don't have any other bad reviews on here. It's too late for me, but please, save yourself. Find another company.
