In our process, we received multiple quotes, and spoke with over 6 different experience contractors. We chose Blue Costa due to their detailed quote, detailed contract, timely responses, and honesty in their customer service and work. The backyard has now transformed and is useful and beautiful. Whenever we have friends over they are amazed by the transformation. Working with Blue Costa was smooth and communication was effortless which I greatly appreciate. There were a few issues along the way, as typical with any construction project, but the Blue Costa team was always timely in communicating and offering solutions. I highly recommend them. We invested a lot with them and would do it again! Their quotes are reasonable and fair, and their workmanship is of great quality. Don't look elsewhere, seriously!

My elderly mother was wanting to buy a headstone for my fathers gravesite so we went out shopping…read more We first tried a more local monument store, but they were closed for vacation, so seeing it was our plan for the day we headed to Rex as it was the next closest place. We walked all around and checked everything they had on display and we were able to narrow down what we wanted before we sat with Lisa to make our final decisions (so many things to decide). We had a size limit as we bought a single lot, but we had decided on a color stone and design while we shopped. Lisa helped us make all the final decisions (you even have to pick a font). I would definitely recommend this place for buying a headstone. I'll update when we have delivery (probably in the spring, stones are backed up due to covid).

Princeton Scapes - Princeton Scapes trimmed the shrubs

Princeton Scapes incorrectly pruned our shrubs, trimming the bottom of our arborvitaes (see pics)…read more After contacting them, they refused to inspect them, claiming they were eaten by deer. We told them: * The shrubs looked great at 8am that day, and by 3pm, they were pruned on the bottom. * The shrubs are smooth and shaped, obviously done by machine. * We saw their landscapers working on the shrubs during the day, they spent a lot of time in that corner of our home, and there were substantial clippings in that area. There are more 100 arborvitaes in our condo development, and only our arborvitaes look like this (see pics). If they had sent a manager to look at these, they would have come to the obvious conclusion that their landscapers erroneously pruned these. It really ticks me off when a company refuses to investigate an issue like this. I'll be petitioning our association for resolution, and filing a Better Business Bureau complaint against this company. Princeton Scapes claims deer ate my shrubs, the only arborvitaes out of over 100. And they did so in one day! Check out the photo showing that the shrub is smooth on the edge, clearly shaped by a trimmer. The images they provided are from a distance, and even in those images, the bottoms of the shrubs are not smooth or shaped. I don't know what they are looking at, but I'd be happy to show them personally. We strongly recommend choosing a different landscaping and lawn service organization, than Princeton Scapes.

Of the 6 other landscapers I called, those that even bothered to call me back and give me an estimate, Princeton Scapes proved to be the winner. They did a great job on the agreed upon work and I strongly recommend them for any of your landscaping needs.

My original conversation was pleasant and I thought uneventful. I was told it would be 2-3 weeks to complete and they would clean up the stone. Several months went by and I made several more phone calls- each time speaking with someone different! The last phone call I expressed my urgency to have the stone done by Father's Day. I was told they would "put a rush on it". I don't live near the cemetery so I assumed all was well. My father's 1 year anniversary was on Sunday. The family gathered to spread some ashes at his gravesite and imagine our surprise when the date wasn't on it and it was filthy!! I was so angry! If this company couldn't complete the job then tell me so! I would have hired another company! I highly recommend you look elsewhere for your loved one's monument needs.

My mother passed almost six months ago, and my family and I went to Empire the very next day after she passed to purchase monument. We were told they only install headstones twice a year--Memorial Day weekend and Labor Day. Memorial Day weekend also corresponds with my birthday so I was very much looking forward to spending my birthday at the gravesite with my mom's new headstone. Well, two weeks have passed and when I texted Louis about when headstone will be placed, I got no response. My dad has also visited to see what the hold up is and we aren't getting very clear answers and being told the wrong color was ordered. What?? With the amount of money they are getting, I don't believe there should be room for these sorts of errors. I am not pleased with them for not delivering when they said they would. Tsk tsk. I would be doubtful to recommend.
