4.5 stars !! It would be 5, but they took a bit longer than they said it would take. I actually didn't mind, because I wanted it done right and was paying 100% myself, vs. any insurance reimbursement. My car looks brand new, everything was casual and easy peasy. I got quotes from several places. They were the most affordable. I've got 2 vehicles, am a gearhead owning everything from Porsches to '67 GTO's and '55 Chevys and this is my body shop from now on !! Include these folks, (friendly, easy) in any quotes you get for bodywork. I chose them for the price and reviews. And the results in 2025 for my 2011 Avalon were 100% !! read more

One of the worst experiences I've ever had dealing with a shop. Took an older vehicle in to get looked at. My insurance aha d already previously sent an adjuster and gave me a quote. I did not fully understand that this shop was going to do a counter quote. After dropping off my car and getting my insurance info over (which I should have never done) I get notified two weeks later that my vehicle is totaled because the shop sent a counter quote back to my insurance and stripped a lot of the vehicle down and said it was going to cost upwards of 10,000 to fix in which my insurance totaled the vehicle. Because my insurance totaled the vehicle this shop would not let me have my vehicle back unless my insurance paid them over $3,000 for the "work" that was "performed" and the "daily vehicle storage fee". The car was never repaired, and I was left with a now "totaled" vehicle that only had cosmetic issues and a bent door frame... Beyond the worst experience at any shop I've ever had. Do not take your vehicle here as this shop tries to squeeze money out of insurance and will hold your vehicle hostage. Edit after shop reply 10/30/25: My first mistake was dropping the vehicle off. My second mistake was sending my insurance info over. All I wanted was the door bent back straight and a basic repair. When I dropped my vehicle off I don't remember it being clear that you were going to do a tear down and then charge a storage fee towards insurance. After I finally Received my vehicle back from your shop I put my own vehicle back together after I got it back and it took me about 2hrs. Charging my insurance $3000 for no actual repair work is insane. I remember quote for quote what you said to insurance since they hadn't paid you yet and they were only willing to pay you around $1200 for vehicle storage and the "work" preformed.. you said "that's not good enough." because you wanted over $3000 from my insurance for this "work" that was preformed and storage fees... aka just a tear down of the inner fender, the outer fender flair the front bumper and grill taken off and lights off. (The only reason I brought this vehicle in is because wind pulled the driver door open and bent the hinges and slightly cracked where the hinges are welded to the A pillar. A simple fix is all I asked for not a full a pillar replacement...." you bent the front fender while getting the door open (which I could have done myself but wanted to try and not bend anything more which is why I took this to a shop in the first place...) and then did a full tear down of the driver side door including taking the glass out.. I don't even care about that Jeep anymore and was willing to just give it away at that point in this process because of how pissed off I was and still am about this whole thing. You should have called me before sending any "supplement" to my insurance. Moral of the story for anyone who is considering this shop: don't involve insurance with this shop or you will be sitting between a shop feud with your insurance as the shop is trying to squeeze money out of the insurance company. They might like to do repair work but all this shop sees when you have insurance involved is dollar signs. read more

I took my hail damaged Toyota Avalon to Set It Off after having an insurance company estimate of the damage at about $7,000. The team at Set If Off saw greater damage and fought with the insurance company about the cost which ultimately resulted in them agreeing the car was a total write-off. Progressive valued the car at $13,700 but Set It Off referred me to a guy who fights with insurance companies on the behalf of car owners, and now Progressive has agreed on a valuation of $18,000! So Set It Off got no work from me but got me a tremendous financial benefit at no benefit to themselves. That is what I call exceptional customer service! read more

Wow - I can't say enough great things about the group at Set It Off. We got in an accident that did a pretty large amount of damage to our car (fortunately no one was hurt!) the down side was our insurance wasn't going on to cover anything so it all was coming out of pocket. The staff here was incredible with doing their best to get the work done quickly while also keeping in mind we were paying out of pocket. They also were so great at keeping us up to date with the status of the repairs each week. Our car now looks brand new and runs even better than before! Got my car back today. Josh and his team did a stellar job. I think it actually looks better after the accident and his working on it than it did before. He finished with time to spare and tried his hardest to stick to the original estimate (appreciate that). Lastly, his team cleaned my car before I picked it up; considering it's a beagle mobile and they were dog hairs and nose prints everywhere, it was such a nice gesture. Recommend 110%. read more

This was my first experience with an auto body shop. I had $13k worth of hail damage to my new car! Shelby and all of the guys made this experience smooth (for me!) There were a lot of hiccups in terms of parts coming in damages, or back order. However, Shelby went to bat for me with all of the part vendors and the insurance company. I am the fleet manager for a small non profit that provides care for elderly and young adults with mental and physical disabilities. We provide a safe environment so the families and loved ones can continue to work with peace of mind. And we met Josh and Adam when were presented with an opportunity to get a van donated if we could remove a whole body wrap that had been on there for 12 years. All of the employees at Set It Off have been amazing! Our 2015 WRX has been in twice now- once for a major repair after an accident, and a second time for a bumper repair after an incident with a raccoon. Both times, Adam and Josh were both so courteous, timely, and great at communicating with us along the way. The first time they promised us that the repaired side of our vehicle would look better than the original- I didn't think it was possible- but they were right! Our car looks perfect once again, and we had no surprises along the way. When for a quote for a basic repaint for $20,000.00.... wow... lol... buyer beware!!!

From start to finish I have been absolutely impressed and appreciative of the work done by the folks at Set it Off Paint and Body. I picked up my car on Friday after dropping it off on Tuesday for repairs from a parking lot collision. I was adamant about hoping to have it back for the weekend, and I received a call first thing Friday morning that it was ready to go. The exterior work looked perfect, and on top of that, I was delightfully surprised to find they had nicely vacuumed and cleaned out the entire interior of my car, which was looking pretty rough when I had dropped it off. Adam and his team were wonderfully communicative and accommodating, in addition to providing top-quality work that matched the estimate exactly. This was the first time I'd had to have repairs done on a vehicle, and I was so grateful for how patient and helpful the team at Set it Off was throughout the process.
