Capital Design Cabinetry gave me THE BEST quote for the custom cabinets that I wanted for my house…read more I was turned down by many cabinet suppliers because they no longer carried the rope trim door style that I wanted for my kitchen. The places that had a similar door style only came in a set color that could only be changed if I hired another person to sand and re-paint the doors which would cost more than buying the door itself. Payam did an excellent job color matching the stains and paints of my cabinets with the wood and tile samples I gave him. My design for the kitchen and bathroom came out exactly the way I wanted to and the colors all flow together so beautifully. Aside from doing amazing cabinet work, Payam is also very attentive and always answers my calls/texts to address any questions that I have even after installing the cabinets. His reliability and honest work has made me become a customer for life. I have attached before and after photos of the kitchen and bathroom. My house is still under construction and the proper appliances made to fit the cabinet cutouts are on back order so please only pay attention to the cabinets and not the surroundings!

He sat down with us and asked us detailed questions so he could have a good understanding of what we were looking for. He communicated with us every step of the way, which my wife found very reassuring. He was completely transparent on the price and his pricing was very competitive. He stopped by our house several times to show us swatches of partially completed work and he allowed us to come by his workshop to see the work in progress whenever we liked. When the finished product was delivered to the house for installation, we were truly impressed. They look absolutely amazing and we have gotten nothing but compliments on how they look from friends and family. I called and made appointment for an estimate o install crown molding in my entire home. James…read morearrived over 1/2 hour late. He did not have anything to write on so I provided a pad of paper. He did not measure anything just wrote numbers n the pad then left with my pad of paper. He texted me the next day a quote with some dark photos of previous crown molding jobs he had completed. I asked how long the job would take and was told 2 weeks. He explained that he would be working by himself and that's why it takes so long. I told him upon reviewing some samples I would hire him. We agreed on a time for him to come by with the samples. He arrived 2 hours late with several stacks of crown molding that he just purchased (no samples) telling me he needed to store it in my garage. I asked why he didn't bring me samples to choose from and was told the one he purchased would look the best. Seeing how I have never had crown molding installed I took his word for it. I should have told him I didn't want him to do the work but I felt bad he purchased all this material so we agreed he would start installing the next morning. He arrived on time and asked me to open my garage door. Upon doing so I see him 5 houses up the road unloading his tools. I still gave him the benefit of the doubt. He started installing in my master closet at 10am. James did not bring ant materials to cover my clothes, floor or shelves. I saw him take the same piece in and out about 10 times. At 3pm he told me he was finished with the installation so I went into my closet and he had black marks all over my walls, ceiling and crown molding. He has 20 to 30 nails holding up 1 piece of crown molding some clumped together in 1 spot and others randomly placed throughout molding. I had gaps between molding and wall that calk would not fill because it was so deep. James felt that his work was perfect and the finished product (after caulking) would look great. At this point I told James I didn't have enough wall paint to touch-up all the marks on my walls and was unhappy with the results. I was then advised by James he does not paint. He said that he told me I am responsible for painting the crown molding and any walls or ceiling scuffs. I told him I was never told this and would not have hired him had I known I was responsible for painting the molding. I asked him to leave and I would pay him for his time and materials for what he did complete. James expected me to pay for all the crown molding he purchased and said it was my fault it took him so long to install the molding because he had to work around my shelves with clothes and a safe. I explained that any lived in home would require the same situation with having obstacles in his way but the time problem was because he had to re-cut the same piece of molding several times. I hired a different company to remove his molding and install crown molding in my entire home. After I choose the molding they started work 1 week later and arrived on time. 2 men installed the molding and a day latter another man joined them to tap nails in, calk then paint the new molding. They completed the job in 3 days and it looks beautiful. The new company did not have scuff marks all over my ceiling, walls and molding. They put drop cloths in the areas they were working and covered my belongings in plastic to protect them. I was advised the previous installer (James) was using molding too small for the size of home and the nails he was using to install the molding were too small as well. I do NOT recommend James with Hi Tech Trim Carpentry. James is not punctual, does not complete the job, has poor communication, is slow and is inefficient.

He came to my home to measure everything precisely, and the fit and finish were perfect. The cabinets are solid and look gorgeous. Their showroom has lots of full kitchen displays, hundreds of handles and pulls, and a huge range of countertop options. I visited about a dozen other cabinet shops (most of them along Jimmy Carter Blvd.), but chose this place because of the unrushed atmosphere, big selection, personal care and very fair pricing. Their prices were literally less than half of what the big box stores charge for similar solid cabinets. Bill made the entire process stress-free and really cared about making sure I was completely happy with the results. He also helped design my layout and offered great options like plate pegs, knife drawers, spice racks, and utensil organizers--plus, he provides architectural drawings and realistic renderings so you can see exactly how your space will look before anything is installed. The advice in the kitchen area made it a much more useful work space than the original. The advice in the bath added room for a more spacious tub and modern toilet. All issues that arose were dealt with promptly and to the satisfaction of all. The property they renovated was 50 years old, yet they were able to meld old with new and preemptively replace infrastructure that was overdue for failure along the way at a lower cost. They have stood behind their work, even helping us to identify a problem that was unrelated to anything they did at no charge at a later time. We highly recommend!
