I previously had given this dentist practice a poor review. It's fitting. I had to BEG for a broken molar with an exposed root to be extracted. They finally extracted it, left a sharp chunk of the tooth behind and it bleeds all the time. It's painful, rubs against the gums and I'm done calling them, getting voice mail, begging for mediocre service. I had begged for over a week to get a tooth pulled, I still have two bad molars and one tooth is cracked down the middle. I'm supposed to just deal. After my first poor review, they made the dental hygienist call me. She was really nice but I feel bad for her unless she's a part of this whole mess contributing. Idk. When I went in a year ago I was rushed in and out, given paperwork showing I needed root canal's, extractions, and crowns. My second visit was more muddy, once again very rushed and they said my teeth were fine and all the horrific pain I was in was due to the one broken tooth in the far back that had a root exposed and it was causing pain all over. Not true, it was definitely causing a majority of the pain but there's two molars left with issues. One is cracked down the middle, the other has a cavity on the side. Only and ONLY when I posted a negative review did anyone return any of my calls and it was a dental hygienist, Crystal (could be spelling it wrong, sorry) she eventually better explained my specific dental issues and apologized for my appointment experience. She seems to genuinely care about her patients and apologized profusely and said their office has been short staffed. Tbh, they should treat their employees better. Dr Delisle did a dental extraction for me, he was very quick and I was barely in the chair for it. He didn't speak to me at all. I was glad to have the tooth pulled but the quickness of it left be a little perplexed. I've had 4 wisdom teeth pulled (without any sedation, at another office in Arkansas) and one other molar on my left side extracted (without sedation either, in Missouri.) my wisdom were impacted (sideways) with major issues. These teeth were pulled without leaving behind any fragments, the dentists took their time, didn't rush and made sure I was comfortable and both dentists called me after extractions to make sure I was okay and not having any complications. Settlers Walk hasn't called me. When I called them to fix the remaining chunk of tooth, once again got voice mail. Someone called me back the next day, it rang once and there was no voice mail from them. Everytime I call it's voice mail. I can't get ahold of anyone and tbh I'm sick of it and sick of their excuses. It's disgusting to have to beg for medical care or for them to fix their mistakes. Won't be going back. Since yall read these reviews feel free to cancel my October appointment. I'm reporting this to the dental board, which judging by their reviews won't do a lot but maybe it will be on Delisles permanent record attached to his license. read more

This team is AWESOME!!! I have been to many dentists in my tenure on earth and by far this is the best one! Thank you J Martin for the referral and thank you Dr. For laughing at my jokes. Prices are very reasonable but that's not as important as the work is perfect. Highly recommend this dentist and his team!!! read more

If I could give them a negative number, I would. Worst dental practice ever. I already had to change hygienists once because I was non stop harassed about getting gum treatments. Then they harassed me about getting braces. Today I was told by Amanda that since I refused their gum treatment, they wouldn't do cleanings for me anymore. What kind of dentists does that? This place has no concept of customer service. They made me wait over 45 minutes, the dentist and other hygienists ignored me. They took another patient who came after I did before me, and even if that person had an earlier appointment, I had been there 20 minutes, so that client was assisted late as well. I walked out and told them I would not be coming back. after reading the other review I'm glad I did. 1-800-dentist should be ashamed for recommending this place. I will never go back or use their service again. read more

They are only after money. Dentist does not even do the fillings. Tried to tell my son he needed to have his teeth scrapped before they would even clean his teeth. We said no but they said he had to get several cavities filled. Went ahead and did those. I then switched dentist and got his X-rays fro new Dentist. She said he did not need all those fillings from the x-rays. I spoke to two different dentist about the scrapping thing and they both told me the proper procedure would be to do a cleaning (which Settlers Walk refused to do) and then do another cleaning a month later and then decide if it needed done. He went in for first exam and cleaning and said he doesn't need scraping!!!!!!!!! read more

I am easily the biggest chicken ever when it comes to teeth....I am simply terrified of all dentists. Dr. Daniel not only pulled out 2 of my wisdom teeth totally painlessly, but he actually kept me comforted throughout the process. This Doctor actually cares. And I had been sent to him by another satisfied patient of his. Now I am sending my wife to be his new patient also. The man is really really good. And very personable and caring. read more

I am not a usual reviewer, but I will be looking elsewhere for a dentist. The SW dentist is fine, I like him. It is the hygienist staff I have a problem with. I am 60, and have never had huge problems with my teeth (none pulled, no root canals). I have had excellent dental care since I was 5. Last October, dentist told me to "keep doing what I am doing." Yesterday's appt. took place in the absence of the dentist. Although I was experiencing no symptoms, I was told by the hygienist that my mouth was, "Full of infection and bacteria." I was asked how often I brushed. When I said, Once a day, I was told that's probably part of the problem. I suggested that a new diet may have caused the excess build-up I was informed I had. The hygienist looked at my chart, and said that I had been told the same thing last October (note what the dentist told me last October-I was not told this at that time). Then I was told I would need to come back for an additional cleaning (it was not stated like a choice) in 3 months. I asked if insurance would cover it, and was told, "No it won't and that's unfortunate, but necessary due to the issues I see." After that, I had the most brief tooth polishing I have ever had, and then was asked, "Do your teeth feel clean now?" I am not sure why this happened yesterday, but I think it a coincidence that it happened when the dentist was not there.There have been issues with excess pain in the past (never experienced before at other dentist's offices). I have called and discussed with SW or my husband has, and yesterday's cleaning was typical of other cleanings I've had elsewhere. I got a little tired, though, of being asked every few minutes if I was "doing ok." These issues I experienced in the past seem to be being blamed on me being a wimp, rather than taken to heart that perhaps the hygienists could improve their practice. read more
