Avoid this place at all costs! The owner has zero customer relations skills and, has demonstrated to me at least, that he really doesn't care about his clients or the clothing that they bring to his store. On March 5, 2022, I brought a sweater into this establishment for cleaning. I had never used this business before but, since they were close to me, I decided to try them. I returned a few days later to discover that the owner could not locate my sweater and declared it "lost". I had a difficult time conversing with him because the television was playing so loud, and he asked me not to shout. When I pointed to the TV, he finally turned down the volume and then became very combative informing me that he "makes mistakes from time to time". I explained that if he could not locate the sweater then it was my expectation that he would compensate me for its loss. His reply: "You BETTER HAVE a receipt for it". I informed him that I did have a receipt.
I returned several times and spoke with a female employee. She was far nicer and explained that sometimes an item gets placed with the wrong order and a customer ultimately returns it. I then told her I would wait and hope that was the case. She took my name and number so she could call me if the sweater returned.
This past Saturday (April 23, 2022) the owner called me and said: "Come get your money". I went to the store, he handed me the money and I attempted to hand him the receipt (for his records) for the sweater. He told me to keep it. No apology. Nothing. He just returned to his LOUD TV and I departed.
As my father would say: "I've been to this business twice...first and LAST".
