The customer service is 10 out of 10, Mr. Carlos called me to assure that I knew that the brisket burger was in fact, sliced brisket and not a patty which was totally fine with me. Also, he also called to make sure that my allergy for tomatoes would not be affected by the barbecue sauce, which was definitely appreciated. So if y'all didn't realize...this is a good truck. I found it searching for close by bbq for my dad. Ordered brisket, sausage, ribs and smoked chicken thighs. Thighs are priced by the pieces while everything else was by the pound, typical price. Amazing and delicious brisket! Huge flavor ring. No bbq sauce needed for the brisket at all! Ribs were good. Sausage is a bit dry but good with bbq sauce. Chicken thighs can be either smoked only or can be smoked then deep fried and tossed in sauce. I opted for sauce in side and keep it smoked. I just like genuine smoked meats when purchasing bbq. Service was great. Hubby and wife runs this food truck. After you order...sit in your car and wait...she will bring it out to you! Old bucs reigns Supreme for my weekend itch. So what did we get? Lemon pepper wings: 4/5. More lemony than pepper. But fried perfe try. Plus they leave the wing tips. Love that! We got the 2 meats 2 sides: Meats: the bbq pork ribs 4/5 were huuuuge. Definitely double what most places would have given for similar price. Taste was average. Nothing too crazy but not bad. The beef sausage 3/5 was a bit of a let down. Not very flavorful and the outer casing (as with most bbq sausages) was inedible. The portion was also surprisingly small. They cut them super thin. Sides: the bbq beans 5/5. DELICIOUS and flavorful and sooo filling. They give a hefty portion. Just what was needed for this cool Texas night. Bacon Jalapeño mac and cheese 3/5. YUMMY! Well-smoked beef with just enough crust--you can cut it with a fork. I tried the BBQ sauce. The sauce that complements the meat instead of overwhelming it! Now I want to go back and try all four flavors to compare. The serving sizes are easy to calculate for the family (by the pound). I like the BBQ beans, but they were a little spicy. It's was ok, not something that would bring me back. The texture of the brisket in the brisket bowl was a lil mushy & slightly salty. The rice in the bowl was over cooked but the olives were a nice touch. Overall the salty taste of the brisket, ss, and Olives were a bit much. I love trying Texas BBQ from a food truck because at a small operation I feel like the quality and personal touch will not be lost. Seven Seeds lived up to that billing. I came across their truck at a local Brewery I think it was their first visit there. My standard first order for BBQ is brisket. Gotta try the brisket. And it didn't disappoint. Very moist and flavorful, the kind you definitely don't need sauce for. Plentiful serving especially in that it came with two sides. Preaching to BBQ places, please offer a plate with two sides. I usually like one hot (beans) and one cold (potato salad). I went green beans this time and can say, some of the best I've had at a BBQ joint (many times they seem just poured out of a can and heated). The potato salad was also upper echelon. Pleasantly surprised as sometimes smaller BBQ places put their attention on the money-making meat and can slough the sides. Not here. I presume the proprietor of it took my order, he said immediately they were a little backed up on the meats and asked if I would be patient. I appreciated the heads up. As I was at a brewery, no big problem there as I'm going to be there regardless (not like I'm at a restaurant just waiting or sitting on the curb at a food truck). Sure enough it did take a while, but you could see orders coming out so you knew it would be soon. His son (young teen) brought out the orders quickly and efficiently to folks tables. Love to see a family working together (not sure who else was in the back). So as with most food trucks, quality of food can be good but be mindful (and patient) with delayed service especially if the truck is new and figuring out their logistics. I always see this food truck and I got the chance to try it today. I ordered a beef brisket sandwich and 2 meat plate (beef sausage and beef brisket) with the side of their homemade beans and mashed potato. The side dipping sauce they gave me was a little too sweet for my liking but nonetheless, the meats were tender, moist and honestly it was already good by itself. Both sides are delightful specially the mashed potato. My husband who is really picky with food liked it as well. Customer service was great. I will sure be back. read more

I hate reviewing small businesses. I feel like any bad review can tank a business. However we need to talk about the quality of food. I ordered a three meat of brisket chicken and pork sausage through a delivery service. I am familiar with the area where the restaurant is and it 20mins or less from where my delivery address is. The food arrived hot enough considering it was bbq. There was a nice amount of the meats. Two thighs, maybe a 1/4 pound of brisket, and a really nice amount of sausage. The disappointing part is that all of the meats tasted dry and not fresh. Meaning they might and been smoked previously. I felt this way because ordered lunch around 11:30 that morning. No way the days air would have dried it out that fast if it was prepared that day. The brisket specifically was super dry and showed signs of oxidation. A freshly smoked brisket will have a glisten still from the juices redistributed. There were zero visible signs of moisture in any of the meats. The only way i was able eat the little bit if brisket that i did was dipping it in the cup of bbq that it came with. Speaking of which, this is a lazy way to provide a sauce. Make it yourself. That sauce taste like that bottle kraft overly sweet garbage and it does nothing but take away from what flavors you do have going on. Lastly were the sides. Potato salad and charro beans. The potato salad tasted like someone tried to recycle potato soup into potato salad. Drippy, lumpy, soupy mess. My charros would have been awesome. The juice was very flavorful with bits of onion and bell pepper, mixed with the sausage gave it a nice flavor. Problem was, and i am not exaggerating in the least bit, i can could count the number of beans in the container. There were 3-4 beans total in the container. I was beyond upset with the terrible quality and attention to detail this place provided. If you are claiming to be a bbq place, you understand smoking meat is a skill that requires a lot of time. That is why it cost what it does. But if you are going to serve what seemed like old and dry mean and still make me pay that premium price, you wont make it very far. I won't be back. read more

Shopping at Round Top, we wanted to eat but didn't want to take the time to go to a sit-down restaurant. There are lots of tents with snacks and treats, but we went to Seven Seeds BBQ and it was a great choice! I had a great burger made perfectly to order, and my friend had their sausage and a side of green beans. The young man who helped us was very nice and respectful and the owner (his dad) was friendly and helpful.
