When you walk in the store design is clean, spacious and everything is laid out in an easy-to-find way. The refrigerators are stocked with many fun and interesting wines and beers, not your typical options. The sales associate was stocking wine when I walked in, but got off the ladder to come talk to me. She told me about the history of the store and how they source a lot of the local beverage offerings. She took the time to listen to what each member of my family liked to help me choose three options that would work for us - even a non-alcoholic option for my teenager. Everybody wins. It seemed like everyone walking in were regulars, which always says something. We sat at the bar and loved watching the chef work. He was so attentive and engaging with us, which made the experience even better. We ordered several small plates and drinks and honestly loved almost everything. The only dish that wasn't for me was the escarole,the greens were a little too bitter for my taste. Good thing my husband loved it and happily finished it. The drinks were strong in a good way.
