The food and service was amazing. We went during the Aswang noodles and Oyster dumpling bar takeover. Ramen (especially the broth) and oysters were worth every penny. We had to split our check between black bird points and cards in our big group, the server was so patient and kind with us!

During a girls night out, 4 of us met at Estadio. My friend Tracey is a regular and got there a few minutes before the rest of us to grab a table. They rarely take reservations but this night they had two parties coming in at 7:30 meaning we'd have to abandon our table for the bar, or outside. Luckily around 6:45 enough spots opened at the bar, so we moved on over. The bartender was amazing!! I'm sure he's love for us to visit him all the time because each of us way over tipped!!! Since Tracey knows the menu like the back of her hand, she was in charge. From the salad to the churros, everything was amazing. My favorite bites were easily the piquillo peppers stuffed with shrimp and grits then the grilled flat iron steak with mashed potatoes. After trying both of their speciality gin cocktails at $13 a pop and going down like ice water, I knew it made more sense to switch to something I could sip on! They offered a local sour from Edmund's Oast, their guava tangerine. It was fantastic and lasted me the rest of the night. Between the amazing food and service I cannot wait to go back!!!

Our first time dining at Estadio tonight. Everything we ordered was delicious. We ordered cava to start. For the food, we ordered the patatas bravas, anchovies hash browns, shrimp skewers, meat and cheese with bread and black Carolina crispy rice with scallops and clams. Our service was excellent and really enjoyed the ambience of the restaurant.

We had a fantastic time with delicious food at Estadio! The restaurant is inside a modern building on Spring St and it has a large outdoor terrace, along with inside tables and seating at the bar and open kitchen counter. We arrived a little early for our table and sat at the kitchen counter, we had a great view of everything that was going on and comfortable bar stools so decided to dine there. The staff were all very friendly and efficient, we enjoyed chatting to the kitchen staff as they did their end of evening break down after our meal and they suggested some other great local restaurants to visit. There's an excellent drinks program here with a good selection of wines, cocktails, craft beers, and some great G&Ts on offer. The food is a modern twist on tapas and is carefully prepared, using high quality ingredients and the flavors are well balanced. Our food service was nicely paced and we had an enjoyable and relaxing dining experience. What we ate: Serrano Ham, a hard sheep's cheese (I forget which one!) served with some delicious toasted bread from a local bakery. Loved everything. Pa Tomate. This was a little different from the other Pa Tomate I have eaten in that it had a thick tomato reduction spread on it rather than being rubbed with tomato. It was very flavorful. Snack Bowl. My favorite item! Basically a bowl of potato chips mixed with white anchovies and chopped green olives. I really fancy coming back for a glass of sherry and more of this addictive snack! Salad with beets, blue cheese and candied pecans. Delicious, this was beautifully crafted and presented, and the dressing was perfectly balanced. Prices are reasonable and they have some great happy hour deals - I'll certainly be back.

The vibe coming into the restaurant is very relaxed, doesn't seem as expensive as it is! With that being said, totally worth it. My family got the brick chicken dish and the Carolina black rice dish to share. We all loved, I have never had anything like the black the rice, crispy goodness. The truffle Spanish tortilla was good (deceiving though, dish consisted of scalloped potatoes, caramelized, onions, and truffles) the pigs in a blanket were cute. The bread a lil burnt but great flavor.

Very impressed by the menu! Some "Spanish" restaurants miss the mark by having THE traditional items on it, like tortilla de patata, by Estadio understood the assignment! My husband and I came here for date night and got an early reservation which was perfect because we were here for part of their happy hour! 99 cent GILDAS?! They're two euros in Spain! I was impressed. We also got the manchego, chorizo (perfectly spicy and definitely imported directly from Spain), pan con tomate, tortilla Española/aka de patatas, croquetas de champiñón (mushroom), and honestly we would have ordered more but this filled us. I definitely want to try the parades bravas next time we go. I appreciated the Sherry shelf they had -- such a unique touch! If you're from Spain like me you get it!! I loved all the artwork and overall vibe of the place. It's not too big but doesn't feel crammed. And I love when the kitchen is open to the restaurant so you can see what they're cooking. Excited to come back! Thank you for bringing a slice of home for those of us from Spain living in Charleston!!

Had reservation for 5pm for 3 people and seated right away. Service was great, personable and accommodating to all questions about the menu. Enjoyed happy hour with drink specials (the porron is definitely worth the try!). Tapas style apps/food which was of course known/expected. I was a tad surprised with portion size as it was a bit smaller for the prices but quality was there. Went on a night that they did offer their paella and it was fabulous!!

Arrived 540pm & we caught the tail end of happy hour ....yummy red sangria. We sat at counter to watch very talented chef's prepare tapas. Order scallops, croquettes, Spanish potatoes & pigs in blanket. On par with amazing tapas we had in Barcelona. Staff super friendly and helpful.

I originally planned on going to another restaurant but the wait was way too long. So I just looked up places near me that were off of the busy King Street and stumbled upon this Tapas bar and restaurant tucked away on Spring St. Since it was just myself, I easily got a spot by the bar. Although a little small, there were indoor and outdoor seating. They have an open kitchen concept so you can marvel at the delicious Spanish foods that they were cooking up. They have an extensive list of wine. I ordered rose sangria with my meal. Almost ordered another glass, but then I wouldn't have been able to drive home. I ordered 4 tapas: 1. Deviled Eggs + Caviar - 3 pieces, super savory, creamy and lots of flavor. 2. Pan Con Tomate - 1 slice split into 3 pieces, tomato puree smeared on garlic toast. It looks super simple, but wow, it had a strong taste with a slight kick of spice. 3. Croquetas de Jamon - 3 pieces, a favorite dish of mine when I went to Spain. Fried potato balls with bits of ham. 4. Grilled Royal Red Shrimp Skewers - 3 pieces. Probably the best dish of the night! These shrimps were so juicy and well marinated. Loved the staff, especially the bartender. Good vibes all around. There were some solo eaters there as well so perfect spot to grab a bite! Can't wait to come back.

We were so excited to try this new, gorgeous spot on Spring. That bar tile of the bull is beautiful. There is no other way to start this review than how I felt at the end of the meal, and even more so the next day. The room had little to no A/C so I was uncomfortable from the start. The waitress could barely give us a minute to help us decipher the menu. BTW most was in Spanish, a very few items had English info in the description. Thankful I have Google Translate on my phone. We ordered a good bit of items off the menu, but the waitress never told us how much was on the plate, as this is a 'sharing' atmosphere. There are 4 of us and we get a bowl of two shishitos. Most other things came in 3's (really?). We finally snagged someone walking by to tell us the process for enjoying the sardines, as it was my first time. We ordered the skewered shrimp, I nearly laughed out loud when I saw them. Stretched out on a tiny skewer and they were no bigger than my pinky, and the same circumference. I asked how big the beet salad was and one waitress holds out her hands and says it's a good size, my surprise to see it less than a cup. And by the way, bleu cheese is a fairly STRONG flavor, so when an item on your menu has that all over a salad, it should be in the description... The rustic bread and gin cocktails were delicious. But, lack of service and lack of menu explanation, and food that wasn't really that good will keep us from coming back.

I am not someone who waits in line for a reservation. I always joke that if Jesus Christ is at the end of the line, I'm still not waiting. So... we paid someone to stand in line for us. The place itself is adorable. Small, intimate, and full of charm. I was a little thrown off that the only drink options are beer, wine, or water. Two people in our party don't drink, so that felt like a miss. But then the food came. And I get it now. It was, without question, some of the best food I've had in a long time. We ordered a lot, and every single dish delivered. The caviar sliders were unbelievably good, buttery, salty, and indulgent in the best way. The tuna toast, fennel and celery salad, and ceviche were all standout, with the ceviche being especially memorable. The soft shell crab and tempura flounder were perfectly done. Even the gundi surprised me. And to finish, the "not fried" ice cream and banana pudding were just outstanding. Service was excellent, warm and attentive without being over the top. The whole experience felt special. Bottom line: I hate waiting in line, and I still wouldn't. But I am very glad we found a way around it. Totally worth it.

Once they opened, someone came down the line to see if we wanted to sit now or put our name down for later. Table wasn't quite ready when we popped back at 8pm but they walked us through drinks/wine lists while we waited outside and brought the drinks out to us while we waited. Got in to our table at 8:25pm. The food: Everything was delicious. We ordered 5 dishes between the 2 of us and ended up taking a little bit of the last dish home but only so we had room for dessert. Service was amazing, everyone was helpful and kind! Verdict: Would I wait in line, sweating in the 85 degree sunny weather again? Probably not. Would I wait in line again if it was a cool 70? Maybe. Honestly, didn't really fill the hype meter for me when there are SOOO many fantastic seafood restaurants in Charleston but glad I finally went! *not pictured: cacio e pepe fried cauliflower (are it before the phone could snap it)

Nice list of 3 mocktails so even if not consuming alcohol one can look to play the part at the table and enjoy the flavor notes of a well made cocktail. The first meal we had was a bit of a work/get together meal. We ordered an assortment of items off of the menu and created a more tapas menu. The charcuterie board we picked the cheeses for and it was lovely. All as expected and quite surprised to find a cheddar I enjoyed. Came with some grapes, figs, nuts, honey and I think mustard. Glazed carrots were phenomenal. Heartily enjoyed the beet salad and thought the presentation was quite pretty. Lamb lettuce wraps are alright. Not my favorite of all the dishes served but delivered as promised, nicely cooked and presented. Spouse really liked the lamb wraps and were a stand out dish to them. Meatballs are excellent truly great texture and flavor. Escargot was a fun take on a classic dish. Finished with a unique strudel in its presentation it was quite pleasant. Spouse liked the peanut butter chocolate dessert. For brunch, I had the carrot ginger soup. Which I must say was a total delight. The soup had the hallmark texture and base flavor of the carrot ginger but it had a beautiful breath of savory and some heat seasoning wise to it. It was quite an elevated soup and heartily enjoyed! I followed the carrot soup with a French toast. I am all for softly scrambled eggs but the French toast was a touch undercooked. (I did not let the restaurant know or give them the chance to make right. I regularly eat soft boiled eggs and soft scrambled so I felt comfortable with consuming them.) Strawberries were ripe and tasty. The whipped cream was gorgeous in thickness and flavor. One in law had the caesar salad with croutons and grilled chicken. Their bowl was left clean so while they are not the talkative of sorts they did seem to enjoy it. Ordered a baguette with butter. Unfortunately the butter never made it to the table but the baguette was enjoyed. Spouse had the Azur burger with the side of tapas style potatoes. All was cooked properly to temperature and texture. Flavor and taste as promised. Wasn't their favorite dish at Azur as we had tried so many lovely dishes a few evenings before. But it did deliver on what was represented in the menu. In looking for a restaurant for dinner on Sunday night I happened across Sorghum & Salt. The menu looked great so we made a reservation to eat a the Chef's Counter. This turned out to be a great decision all the way around. We were seated right in the middle of the Chef's Counter. The gentleman who waited on us was great. He explained the menu well and provided good direction on wine. All of the other employees we interacted with were friendly and helpful too. On the to important part, the food. The three of us shared plates throughout the meal. i want to hit the highlights. We started with the Seared Blue Fin Tuna, the Radishes, and the Cauliflower. We picked the tuna dish after watching one being made almost in front of us for another table. It was as good as it looked. It was different than any tuna dish I have had thanks to the cashew tahini the dish sat on. The flavors together were great. The Cauliflower was cooked, then maybe fried, and tasted great with the green curry and peanut sauce. We enjoyed this dish. Out of the three I think that, surprisingly, the Radishes were my favorite. The dish includes almond, charcoal, and green olive. There also was fresh dill that was great. The flavors were fantastic and took away some of the usual sharpness you have with radishes. If you go, try this dish. The mains we shared were the Market Fish and the Carrot Bolognese. The Market Fish was great. The sunchoke veloute, mushrooms, and salsa verde added great flavor. But I want to spend more time on the Carrot Bolognese, which was my other favorite dish. It included rigatoni, labneh, and ricotta salata. I am not a good enough cook to deduce how exactly the carrots were cooked and prepared, but it was a carrot based sauce over the rigatoni and it was simply fantastic. Even my carnivore wife and son thought it was amazing. If you find yourself in Charleston and want to treat yourself right, you need to make your way to Sorghum & Salt.
