We have now gone to the 2.0 version - of shopify - with a company that understands bridal and it is very simple very easy - no great expenditure - we are getting sales from it and are going to do the marketing against it - it isn't brain surgery like the 5 figure cost of the other website. I've been…read moretrying to Cancel Service with this Yurz/Promote for months and they continue to bill me after making multiple cancellation attempts. First off, be prepared to wait on hold for well over 30 Minutes just to reach anyone (don't be surprised if it takes a few days or even a week of repeated attempts to get through to an actual person). Once you're luckily enough to reach a representative, they will do everything they possibly can to keep you from cancelling (which I understand since that's how the sales business works), however after you Specifically tell them you want to cancel they will continue to bill you. They'll tell you that you need call back in on the last day of your billing cycle since you've already pre-paid the full month, then after calling back (which takes days to get through) they explain that they just billed you again in advance for the future month and they cannot refund the future month. They continue this cycle for as long as they can until you finally agree to just take the loss for the future month and accept that this is how their fraudulent company operates. I've spoke with multiple managers & representatives over there, and they've all repeated this same fraudulent practice of billing a month ahead and trying to prevent you from cancelling at all costs. Aside from making the cancellation process nearly impossible, the service itself is 3 times more expensive than similar services I currently use. They claim they have a special arrangement with Facebook, but I assure you that the other service providers post the Exact same way and it looks identical to the Yurz/Promote posts. They also offer other services that were Grossly Misrepresented (such as their Review service). I really hope this review saves someone from the agony that I went through with this company. Please do your homework before providing them any payment information because once you're in their billing system it will take an act of God to cancel.
