My girlfriend's gaming laptop was having problems with overheating because of bad thermal paste, and he disassembled the computer, cleaned up all of the old paste, cleaned out all of the dust and debris, and reassembled the computer. First off, WOW I am amazed at his knowledge, if you need ANY computer help definitely go to Binh, hes a GOD at what he does. He was able to find the problem of my PC, after it breaking down during my vacation, and for the life of me I couldn't figure out what the problem was. Years of experience under his belt. Very reasonable prices and won't overcharge you for stupid errors you've made on your part. So I had an issue with my year-old Acer Concept D laptop. It was passed warranty, and I wanted to find someone to help fix the issue without charging an arm and a leg. Problem - for some reason my laptop screen would turn off and restart back to the main screen when I started typing. I was so annoyed. In the middle of typing an email, it would just turn off and I would have to put my security pin back in. It would do it randomly, but always when I was typing. I message Binh through Yelp to see if he could take a look at it. He asked me very specific questions like does it do that when connected to an external monitor? usb keyboard? etc. Nope was the answer. We investigated the problem over Yelp messages. We figured that it only happened when I typed on my laptop. Then he comes out and asked me if I had some kind of magnet on me or nearby while I was using it. I was like that's a weird question, but then I looked at my wrist and realized that I had just gotten a new magnet wrist band for my fitbit a week prior. I tried typing on and off for 30 minutes without it on and sure enough it did not turn off again. Boy was I embarrassed to have messaged him over something small and stupid like this, but I know I would have never had known.
