Service: The staff here are extremely accommodating and attentive. From the moment I walked in, they made sure I was comfortable and taken care of. Had a hair wash, and a hair wash after the cut as well. John my barber, in particular went out of his way to understand exactly what I needed. Even though I wasn't looking for a trendy or complicated style, he listened carefully and made me feel valued as a customer. This included side and back shaves with cooling gel. Haircut: My hair tends to protrude on the sides, and I usually avoid overly stylish cuts since my hair doesn't really work that way. John understood this perfectly and gave me a clean, neat cut that worked with my hair's natural growth. It was exactly what I needed--simple, sharp, and easy to manage. Overall: If you're looking for a barbershop that combines a great environment, excellent service, and barbers who really listen, Shilla Men's Hair Club is the place to go. She scheduled a hair appointment at this salon for 12:00 PM and we arrived early at 11:45 AM--only to find the salon completely closed. We waited until noon, assuming the stylist might just be running late, but no one showed up. We tried calling, texting, and messaging her through Instagram multiple times, but received absolutely no response. We waited until 12:45 PM--still nothing. At that point, we were left scrambling, trying to find a last-minute salon that could take a walk-in. Thankfully, we eventually found a place that was kind enough to help us on such short notice. But the stress, panic, and disappointment were overwhelming--especially on such an important day. What makes this worse is that this wasn't our first bad experience. Last year, the same stylist had my daughter wait 45 minutes after her scheduled appointment. We gave her the benefit of the doubt then, but clearly this is a pattern. To top it all off, the people in nearby businesses noticed our frustration and shared that this kind of behavior is common for her--apparently, many other clients have complained that she's frequently late or doesn't show up at all. Her usual excuse, we've learned, is a "medical emergency," but at this point, it sounds more like an excuse than an explanation. I cannot stress enough how unprofessional and unreliable this place is. We are extremely disappointed and would not recommend this salon to anyone. If you value your time--and especially if you're booking for a special occasion--go elsewhere.
