Ok so, this has officially become my new favorite go to in when I'm working in Weslaco. I've been coming to eat here at least once a week since I 1st tried it. Today, I came for breakfast AND lunch. It's obviously a local favorite as both breakfast & lunch get busy quickly & I keep seeing familiar faces... I guess I'm becoming a regular too ! It's an older building/establishment but, don't let exterior/interior appearances fool you, they are clean! My co-workers who've been nearby for more than 10 yrs had never been because of that & now they all love it! I'd rather keep it that way to keep it's character & not drive up prices. As I said before, it's a small mom & pop restaurant and if you love & appreciate authentic Mexican home-made food...THIS IS IT! Their chicken mole is my favorite (not sweet), the best I've had other than my Grandma's (only served Thursdays). Great salsa, homemade tortillas & sweet tea. They also have American & seafood which are just as delicious. Breakfast is served all day. The owner & staff are very friendly & helpful. The food is fresh, well served, comes out very quickly & at VERY affordable prices! Lunch specials are only $5.25 (regular plates are no more than $10 except for botanas/sombreros which are also well priced)! Beats fast food combo prices & definitely much more satisfying! I would certainly eat here everyday if I could! *Tip: not open for dinner (I think they close around 3:00 pm but, you can call to find out). read more

Best breakfast with the best value on texas blvd in weslaco. The service was great and while the interior is hole in the wall-ish, these places become so special over time as they continue to serve generations of locals. Places like Sevilla are the heart of Weslaco and you can tell by the looks of it on a Sunday Morning. read more

Sevilla Cafe is becoming a regular of mine any time I visit the valley. It is absolutely perfect when you are craving that fast and local Mexican style breakfast where you are just was welcomed if you're in and out or hanging around to sit and read the paper. The menu has plenty to choose from and the specials are hanging on the wall for easy identification. I never fail to get the platter with barbacoa and menudo and it is killer! You can tell the chefs have been making these dishes for ages and have the seasoning/cooking down to a science...if science knew how to include the "made with love" and "passed down from generations" aspect. This includes the homemade salsas they bring to the table for your food- perfectly spicy and delicious! Every time I'm conflicted on whether to savor everything separately for their own unique flavors or pile it all into a tortilla and make a flavor monster of a taco (I typically let the latter win). The serving sizes are large and at great prices! The coffee is that classic diner style that I think is perfect and the cokes are always ice cold. The parking is a little tricky (there's spaces around back but be sure not to park at the business next door, you can get towed) and the restaurant itself is quite small, however, every time we have visited we have never had to wait for a table. Overall I am always happy to take a trip to Sevilla for great food, served up quick, at reasonable prices. read more

Came here for breakfast and it didn't disappoint! I didn't see any breakfast plate for more than $6.50. I had the barbacoa, menudo and egg special for that. It was filling and delicious! On a valley road trip we called in for a bacon egg and cheese and a chorizo and egg and boy are they delicious. Perfectly melted oozy cheese and the beans were amazing. The flour tortilla was airy and perfectly seasoned so it was tasty and not bland. We called in the order and they sounded very busy. As we picked them up the house was packed but they were friendly and quickly gave us our order. Next time we'll come in early and try to eat in. 10/10! read more

Menudo was cold the last time I went there. They microwave the food and the texture of the menudo was awful.

Went for breakfast looks like they have a good menu easy to order. Waitress seem to be busy but nothing out of the norm until I got my plate. Right on top of my food and crawling on my plate was a cockroach. I called the lady back to my table and she quickly took the plate. After debating for a bit we decided NOT to eat here we got up told our waitress we were leaving which we at least expected an apology but that didn't happen. We do not recommend this place at all. Even the way they handled it after was not right. They really need to do something that insect problem. read more

The locals really love it. You need to come at by ll45 am to get table. By 1200 u get all the lunch crowd . Authentic Mexican food.. Great service... Just to tell u it's a old place and bathroom look old type deal. The owner really needs to freshen up place . But man the have endless selection on lunch specials.
