Some might think the blankets are pricey, but they regularly run amazing sales - like 40-65% off throughout the year, not just during the holidays. Totally worth it for the quality you get! I've never had any issues with shedding like another reviewer mentioned. Honestly, I love them so much that everyone in my family is getting a Minky Couture blanket for Christmas this year! I asked about it and as it turns out, it's unique to Utah. Unique doesn't even explain how amazing there are! I decided to go to the nearest by my hotel and wow! The store was huge! Beautiful colors everywhere and the selections were plentiful. Of course I am going to check out the clearance because they must be expensive! The very nice young woman said "come see our weekly special " . It was in a bag but she brought me over to the sample. I'm not necessarily a blanket person, but let me tell you! I am now. It was luxurious! Bought one for myself left and came back and bought 3 more for my daughters. Had to buy a duffel bag to bring them home. It was worth it! I've since ordered another one. This is a must! They have a variety of sizes, mini, baby, tween, adult, monster and grande. You can see the dimensions on their site. Do yourself a favor and buy one. Yes they're expensive but they have weekly specials and they're great. Next time you're in Utah, this is a must visit.

However, I liked the selection that they had. The ladies working there were helpful and friendly. They have classes and social sewing/quilting gatherings and it seemed like a fun place to get together with others and work on your skills.

I recently moved to Northern Utah and there aren't a lot of quilting shops up here. I am not your…read more"typical" quilter ... mainly because I am only in my 30's! I prefer more modern and trendy patterns and like most quilt shops this one caters to an older demographic with more traditional taste. I did find some very cute fabric but it took some searching. The shop is a bit cluttered and I feel the location at Rainbow Gardens is bizarre! The price for a fat quarter is $3 so I'd say that is comparable to most quilt shops that carry quality fabric. For the fabric selection I'd give this shop a "3." The service is absolutely a "5." The owner was very attentive and helpful. She was giving a lot of help to other patrons but kept coming back to me. I brought my children to the shop with me and the owner gave them candy and she has a little table set up for kids. This was really a bonus because I have no choice but to take my children everywhere with me and I appreciate businesses who understand this and accommodate me. Overall, I would say that there isn't a large selection of fabric that suits my particular taste but they do have a lot of fabric to choose from. I will go back because they do have some good prints and the service is really great.

They do not carry much in the way of cotton quilting fabrics. Most of their fabric is flannel with some fleece and some pre-printed quilt panels. If you are looking for a specific type of fabric you may want to call ahead and check to make sure they carry it. They were well stocked in flannel so if you are looking to make baby blankets or something of that sort that could be your place. The lady working there was very friendly and helpful and I will be sure to go back if they carry what I need. Parking is in the front on the driveway.
