Poor sap management makes deal with these situations said, "I've talked with 'them' and they aren't going to report it to our insurance.'" Talk to enough people and they have gone through the same ordeal with Johnson Brothers. That's why they wouldn't report it to their insurance. We had no choice but to file a claim with our insurance and the same day had Sierra James out here. Kitchen and laundry room DESTROYED! We had to move out of our house for 8 months. Took two weeks to find a furnished house for rent. Complete nightmare putting our house back together. Try dealing with insurance these days.....even when it's not your fault. That alone took years off my life. Took a couple months to get them to refund the dishwasher and had to FIGHT to get the install charge refunded. "The installation is not refundable." Seriously, you can't make this stuff up. Not a single apology throughout. Not until I asked for an apology did I get the 'I already did, you just aren't listening'. Worst company and people I've ever dealt with......and that's saying a lot these days. One year later, we are finally done with all this crap. Our insurance subjugated the claim against JBs insurance and won. Our deductible is finally coming back to us. Do yourself a favor and go to Lowe's. The founder died. His son took over and died. Now, the grandkids took over and have nothing but a fancy website with empty slogans and values and promises of commitment and integrity. It's total bullshit.

My mistake for not testing oven with wired ThermoWorks probe within the warranty period. Once I did, with the oven set to 375 degrees, when the probe showed a temp of 329 without the oven reheating, I turned the oven off, immediately turned it back on and set it to 375 degrees. The oven then displayed an internal temp of 325 degrees and started reheating. So much for the temp staying within 15 degrees of the set temperature after spending $1,200 on repair work.

What I am saying is... we have a pulse on what is a good and fair price for these sort of things. I looked at a couch not to long ago at this location. It was half off. The price was still, with the discount, over $1600. When you pay 0% for your inventory you should not be charging consignment prices. Full stop. It is a poor business choice. The idea is to turn over the inventory because more is coming while passing on a lovely savings to your customers. Not hang on to it while it collects dust because you've out priced the new items being manufactured. Know your customer base and price accordingly. We have left empty handed from this store every single visit this year (2026) because the prices have skyrocketed. For reference, we were looking for a washer and dryer...found one brand new at Lowe's cheaper than this Restore had (used no less). That is why I am writing this review. If the free inventory you receive is higher priced than the brand new inventory from the original store...well...here's your sign. So, we will likely have to drop this store from our rotation because time is precious and we cannot waste trips when we could find a better resource to take its place.
