Love this quilt shop. I come to GA twice a year and save up all my shopping to do here. They have the most and best selection of Batiks of any quilt shop I've ever been in. The owner and staff are very helpful and knowledgeable. Especially "the fellow" that helped me today. Sorry I don't remember his name. I could spend hours in this shop. read more

I drive here from Montgomery, AL as often as I NEED to! They do have the best selection of Batiks anywhere, and the staff is friendly and helpful. And they gave my husband a better deal on a new Viking Epic than a closer shop would, so I LOVE Sew Much Fun! read more

This is possibly the worst place in Columbus to go. People in here are so rude. Every time you go in here they never greet you and when you ask a questions they act like it hurts them physically to answer it. Terrible customer service. We need another place in Columbus! Prices are high as well. read more

Established in 2004.

We have been opened since August 2004. We currently stock between 6,000 and 7,000 bolts of fabric. We carry Andover, Benartex, Clothworks, Dear Stella, Free Spirit, Hoffman, Maywood, MIchael Miller, Moda, Northcott, Red Rooster, Robert Kaufman, South Seas, Timeless Treasures, Westmister. If Batiks are your thing you are in the right place. We have one of the largest selection of Batiks in the area. Currently we have quilted over 1600 quilts in the last seven years. Please see our long arm page for more details. We love our customers and the inspiration they bring to us. Please come by and bring your show-n-tells with you.

Meet the Business Owner: Lain S.

Stowe has been in the sewing business since 2004. Sew Much Fun is primarily a quilt shop, with more than 7,000 bolts of fabric. They also sell sewing machines and notions and offer classes. They do classes and quilting. One popular item is the T-shirt quilt, where people bring in T-shirts they've collected throughout the years and the Sew Much Fun team makes a quilt out of the shirts. Sew Much Fun is the only certified Judy Niemeyer quilt shop in Georgia, which means they're certified to teach a certain method. Stowe has always had sewing as a hobby, although she has a degree in piano. She turned her hobby into a job and hasn't looked back.

The displays are eye-catching, there's a ton of room for browsing, and their board game selection is superb. Walked in expecting to browse a bit and leave and I left with three games lol. It's super clean, brightly lit, there's music playing, and the staff member who helped me today (I'm kicking myself for not getting their name, they had long-hair?) was really conversational and helpful. And perhaps most importantly, they're being extremely responsible with COVID, with staff members wearing masks and declining to hold in-person events to ensure the safety of their customers. I really appreciate businesses that take a stand like this even if it means a hit to their profits, so I wholeheartedly recommend visiting and grabbing some gaming supplies next time you need them. We need to ensure that responsible game stores like Moxie succeed in these rough times because they're the places that build community and give us spaces to enjoy our hobby when pandemics aren't raging lol.
