We are in Columbus breaking up my parents home. My parents were voracious book collectors and…read moresomeone told us about this place to sell their book collection. My 73 year old husband to several large boxes of books to them. The staff was incredibly rude and refused to offer any kind of assistance. He was forced to bring in heavy boxes and unload them into their boxes and then have many refused and forced to rebox them and carry them out only to find out that they would notify at some point if they would take them. He came home dehydrated with chest pain. DO NOT USE THIS PLACE, STAY AS FAR AWAY AS POSSIBLE If I could give less than one star I would

The tables with popular reads are always nice to look at for a new find and the kids area is wonderful. Customer service is always helpful and quick. Pricing is a little high as to be expected here compared to online, but Barnes & Nobles makes for a fun outing.

But after has continued screw-ups that were always someone else's fault, and he's argumentative attitude, I went to him and said, Pat, I come to you because you are local and I've been coming here since 1977, and I don't mind spending more to give back to my community and I thought freind. I told him that I could buy from Midtown Comics in NY, have them pull my comics and get free shipping if I did the once a month shipping, with no taxes, and save 10% to 35% off a comic. Mind you I'm spending $250 to over $400+ a month with him at this time. He looked at me and said " You would be a fool not to buy from them"! I was dumbfounded!! But one thing I'm not is a fool especially when you show me how much you appreciate my business! So I started using Midtown for all my comic needs. Also he's a very smug person that's always complaining about something. And he's the type person that always has the right answer, and theirs no grey area or that he could be wrong. Definitely a personality disorder. I would never give him any of my business. Go to midtown or the new comic shop in town called Sentinel Comics!
