All I needed was 1 square yard of solid colored flannel material. I was dumbfounded at the massive materials selections that went on and on and on. This is truly a fine looking store! And I was totally lost! I asked one employee where I could find the flannel and she politely took me straight to the rack which had 25 or more bolts to choose from. I picked my bolt, but was totally lost at the process, so another fine lady pointed me to the nearest cutting machine and table. I sheepishly said I need just one square yard. And without any judgment or awkward looks, the clerk sized, cut and bagged my miniscule purchase. I spent about $3. Then, with a pleasant attitude she asked what it was for and I told her it was for polishing the gun metal on a rifle I'd just purchased. Well, her husband has had the same Collectable piece for years and we chatted for another 5 minutes. I left feeling very much better, and I can't say enough good things about the complete offerings of this business and the politeness of everyone I met. Weidner's has a World of fine goods and fine people!

Welcome to 2025- If you go to the website, there are far more bargains and deals on there. If you have an item buy one get 1/2 off online, I do not see why we are not honoring this deal in the store on the same item. Offering buy one get 1/2 off also a 20% off of your purchase on the website and then you walk into a physical store and everything is full price, not a coupon in sight. This is the second time this has happened to me. My phone will not work in this building and you cannot access your Michael's app to get coupons. The cashier was of no help and gave me attitude and acted like it was a one time thing. I miss the days when the cashiers would be nice and scan the coupon for you. I'm not spending $35 on TWO strands of beads. I walked out empty-handed.

It was a rainy Monday evening about 30 minutes before they closed, and as one woman was showing me the machine, another woman was closing the store and giving me dirty looks as she was covering up the machines. In hindsight I should have gotten up and left, but she had me convinced that this machine was great, and when I went to pay for it and use the discount that applied, they applied it after taxes. Now nowhere in history have I ever seen a discount applied after taxes, but the rude fat woman who gave me dirty looks insisted this is how it worked and they had a legal right to do that. It was really too late to cancel the sale after I noticed it. When I went to the class to learn how to use the machine, I noticed lint in the bobbin casing letting me know in fact it had never been cleaned or reconditioned for sale and was not "like new." The class turned out to be nothing more then a sales pitch for accessories, also overpriced. These machines are overrated, overpriced, and basically they don't really like male clients, at least the fat rude woman didn't at this dealer. They don't follow common retail standards. I moved away for a while, came back and was informed that the warranty was void because I didn't have it cleaned in the years that I had left when it was in storage. There is a slipped stitch on the zigzag function occasionally, even in the beginning, and I wanted it fixed. They wouldn't let me come into their store without a face muzzle in 2021, which is discrimination and illegal. I told them to screw off and that I would never purchase anything from them ever again. I didn't see the fat rude woman, I think her name was Uddie. Maybe she died, good riddance. Wish I had never walked into that place. If you're going to buy a Bernina, go to another dealer, especially if you're a man. They don't like men in their space. So much for "equality."
