Five new pair of jeans ruined. Brought them in to shorten the inseam. All are at least 1" too short now. Width of hem varies by 1/4". Start and finish of the stitches do not even line up. Needed pants for a business trip. My wife dropped them off and showed the lady the mark she made where the finished hem needed to be. The lady did not listen and could not offer an explanation why the hens were so wrong. What a waste of money. All they offered to do was undue the hem and make the length as long as possible even though they would still be too short. Did not even refund what they charged for the job. I took my wedding dress in 2 months in advance the lady said to come back and get it a week before the wedding, so I sent a bridesmaid there as well. Huge mistake the bridesmaids picked her dress up and it was awful so I went to get my dress a week and a half before the wedding and she hadn't even touched it handed it back to me and told me it was fixed I got it home a looked and it hadn't been altered at all she just took the pins out after I called and got rude she did fix it but my bridesmaids dress still wasn't right read more

First time I tried this place to have my daughter's prom dress altered, and they did an excellent job! The price was reasonable. Nice and friendly ladies will take care of all your alteration needs. read more

First off the lady who ran it was a bitch. She altered my prom dress and she had to cut off an inch on the bottom, and pull up the straps and sew it.. she cut the bottom fine but she left the straps pointing up and it looked stupid. I really wanted to give this place a shot since it is local to me. I brought 3 pairs of jeans in that had broken zippers that needed to be replaced. I was promised them a week later. The stitch job was very messy and one one pair of the jeans the zipper was not even fully sewn in so there was a hole at least 1.5 inches big. What is the point of that? I realize that sewing jeans and zippers would be a tough job that I would personally not take on myself as a novice, but when I specifically ask if this was a task that they could do I was told yes. I did not bother taking it back to be fixed as I was really put off with the attitude my alteration was a pain to handle. Whether you like the job or not I do not think you should be expressing that to a customer. read more

I went to get some hats altered. When I entered no one even acknowledged my children and I had came in. We sat down waiting for about 20 minutes and still not a word or a simple hello was said. Tailor was helping a girl with her dress in front of us, and kept talking to the girl's mom a lot. I don't have a problem with the convo but when you keep stopping from working to talk about personal things while you have other customers waiting is just unprofessional! There was also an old lady sitting in the chair next to us when we came in. I can only imagine how long she has been waiting for assistance, while the tailor is busy running her mouth. I decided to leave and even as I left, not a word was said to me, mind you the space between waiting chairs and where she was altering was very small. I WOULD NOT recommend this place at all. Very unprofessional, a decent hello I will be right with you as soon as possible would've been the least she could have said, instead of ignoring my kids and I the way she did. read more

Absolutely do not take your wedding gown to be altered here. I had a dress needing some extensive restructuring and went in for a consultation where the wedding dress seamstress endlessly mocked other customers of hers-holding up a red satin dress someone else had brought in saying "can you believe how ugly this slutty girl is going to look wearing this to a wedding". Absolutely do not expect to be treated with respect. Having dropped off the dress expressing that budget wise and for my sanity the dress needed to be done and complete in 3 months. There were major construction changes to be made and if it didn't turn out the way I wanted, I needed the time to find a new dress. I left my gown with the crass seamstress to not hear a thing from her for a month. I called to inquire on the status and she replied "it's prom dress season so I'll get to it in a month." Another month goes by so I call to inquire further. "I told you the last time you called you have to wait until I get through all these prom dresses." You will not be treated well. You will not feel like your dress is in good hands. And you will feel how low budget and trashy this place is just as soon as you walk in the door. Needless to say I picked up my dress and found a way better, more appropriate place to handle my wedding alterations. read more
