Our Rv stopped running and we called them. I told them the year engine size etc.... they quoted me minimum charge was 2 hours etc etc. The guy they sent was nice enough but said he couldn't help because my vehicle wasn't equipped for his code reader. Had zero ideas.... no diagnostics of any kind were done ... zero zilch nada. Still owed 371.00 for him to tell me he couldn't help if he could get codes.... he couldn't even find the code reader. I had to look it up and show him where it was ....wow. That's not a mechanic. Don't call these people. They are thieves. His reply to my review said I should update my equipment! Real professional!! Yesterday afternoon I was on my way home to Nashville and decided to stop for gas. After I filled up and attempted to start my car, it was totally dead. My car was towed to Shackleford Enterprises. Everybody there was super nice, they even let my dog wait in the lobby. After they checked what was wrong with my car, they determined that it was the starter. They were able to crank up my car and told me that as long as I did not turn the engine off, I would be fine to make it home. They said the part was inexpensive and I should be able to replace it at a local mechanic. They did not charge me anything. We need more people like this in the world!! read more

Driver broke down just before Manchester, TN which is a very dangerous area to be broken down on the side of the road. They were out within 2 hours to tow and back at their facility quickly. Truck was not able to get repaired until Monday and my freight was hot. They arranged to cross-dock it for me. It was expensive but it's an emergency service so I was not expecting it to be cheap. This was invaluable for me, and I will keep their information next time I have a breakdown in that area. I will also be sure to let my carrier network know about Shackleford Enterprises. We blew two trailer tires last Monday night. I called Shackleford and they showed up within 15 minutes in a clean, white van. This is very different from the usual dirty, banged up roadside assistance truck. The young man was very professional and had us back on the road quickly. I called this place because I want to have a vehicle inspected by a mobile mechanic. The first person I spoke with kept telling me he would dispatch to my location. Not once did he listed to my words. Just an inspection. I asked to speak with a supervisor. A supervisor got on the phone and I didn't understand his name. I asked again for his name and he refused to give me his name. He said he spoke clearly and was not going to repeat and he'd be happy to replay the recording. I think they should because he had horrible listening skills. He said what have we repaired in the past and I said you have not and he argued with me and stated you told me you had a class B repaired by us in the past and I want to look it up. I said no I never said that. Let me repeat myself and he said no I heard you. He kept interrupting me and was NOT listening. He was rude and had no customer service skills! As we arrived at the KOA Kampgrounds in South Chattanooga, I could hear engine trouble. The next morning we arrived at Shackleford's front door at 8:00 without an appointment. Th spent the entire morning replacing a burned donut gasket where my muffler meets my manifold. They replaced both of them just to be sure. They did it quickly and at a very reasonable rate. We were camping near Chattanooga recently and could not get our awning to retract when we were ready to leave. Mike Shackleford responsed immediately!! After a thorough diagnosis, he determined it was the motor. This was a Sunday morning and, of course, a motor for an RV awning would not be available for a week according to Camping World. Mike went to a local auto parts store and actually built the motor we needed. How's that for service!! Clean place, but unethical practices. They used deceptive pricing and dogs were loose roaming. I came here to get my tractor trailer looked at. Initially they told me that they would look at it (for no fee) and then charge accordingly if they had to fix it. Turns out they looked at it , I declined the service and then they told me that I had to pay a two hour minimum fee just to look at my vehicle. When I complained they acted like they did not understand what I was saying. They also have dogs that walk around the shop and inside the office without any consideration for customer who don't like or even fear dogs. The great Dane walked along side of me as I entered the waiting area. It stood over 3 ft tall. Not sure if it was a scare tactic or just ignorance by staff and management. Be careful. I left and went to Worldwide trucking in Tennessee. They said nothing was wrong with my truck , that the part was just off track no need for replacement Shackleton quoted me with 800 dollars of work in repairs and parts that "were broken" They also did not replace a nut that I needed and I am was forced to purchase a motor that I did not need for a special nut that they did not put back on. They also damaged several covers under my hood. They are bad news and bad business. read more

do not use this provider . mark shackleford ruined my trailer axle and will not own up to it. he changed my tire and left a piece of the blowout tire wrapped around the brake drum. this caused massive friction and melted the bearing, bent the spindle and ruined the axle. do not use his services you will be sorry. read more
