Outstanding. Truly outstanding service and experience. This was the first time that I'd had Shade Tree out for a quote and then subsequent work. From beginning to end, both my husband and I were impressed. With a pine tree next to our driveway (kissing on a nearby oak) that seemed to have a compromised base, I was anxious to have this tree removed prior to the TRUE onset of hurricane season. We also have quite a few other trees on our property that had become overgrown and were touching or impeding either our house or our neighbors' houses. I called Jose to request a quote, and within days he was here to give us a written estimate. His company is fully bonded and insured. We thought his estimate seemed very fair, but we had also scheduled to receive an estimate from our "usual" tree service, who came out the same day (after waiting nearly a week for a reply). Shade Tree's estimate was better - AND, he was able to come out the following week to complete the job (rather than waiting two weeks as our other estimate indicated we would need to wait in order for him to complete the job). Sure enough, Jose and his skilled crew were here EARLY on the day we scheduled. Perfect! They did a superior job of removing the compromised pine tree without harming the oak that was almost adjoining it. All other trees were trimmed beautifully, with the intent to assist nearby trees in their growth as well as make our home safe. Clean up was superb and communication throughout the entire morning's worth of work was outstanding. This is a local business, and I always want to support local entrepreneurs. Professionals from start to finish. I needed my tree trimmed from being too top heavy and branch crowded, as well as a few smaller trees that had been growing from its seeds to be relocated so they could grow, and Shade Tree Arbor Care were out with expertise the very next day. The pricing was the best quoted, but I was most impressed with their expertise. They were arbor experts, not just a few guys with tree trimmers, if that makes sense. Shade Tree Arbor Care did great work at my house this morning! Luis was fantastic and gave us a reasonable quote and his crew was able to come out in less than a week. We had a ton of trimming, tree removal, stump removal, etc. There were 2 crews of guys (8 total) and all the work was completed in 2 1/2 hours. It was amazing to watch them work so fast and so well. And the team seemed to work really well with each other, making jokes and generally having a good time (even though it's really hard work and it was lightly raining today too...and my yard happened to be pretty muddy). Also, they spent a lot of time on very thorough clean up! Raking, leaf blowing, disposing of everything. I underestimated how big of a job it was! They did great work and I would definitely recommend and would use them again. read more

Shade Tree was doing some work in my neighborhood, so I thought I'd give them a call to address some much needed trimming and pruning to the monstrous trees on our property. It's always nice to see a company in action - makes the selection process a little bit easier for me when I see positive results. I called for a quote (sadly, a week went by without any follow-up, but apparently the lady that handled that task had been out sick) and after follow up - was able to get scheduled right away. The next day, they sent someone out - Luis was a peach! The task list included removing this really old and deteriorating MASSIVE tree from the front of my home, trimming all those painful gum trees & a few other trees surrounding the house, pruning my crapes, and grinding a few stumps that had been addressed by previous owners... The tree in the front I was especially nervous about since it sat really close to the foundation and seemed to be in danger of crashing. I say that because it was increasingly dropping large limbs during any type of storm that had a wind above 5mph. A bit unnerving to say the least. Come to find out: the tree was rotting from the inside out, so my instincts were dead on. Glad it's gone!! Besides... it's a much cleaner look! ;) Luis and his team finished the work in pretty much 12 hours. They started the afternoon they gave me the quote, and finished the next morning - bright and early! They were clean, efficient, and very professional. All in all, I'm quite pleased with Shade Tree Arbor Care and the team they sent out. I'll definitely hire them again when the time comes for further trimming/pruning. I wish I could rate them more then 5 stars! Jose came out this morning right on time and gave us a quote. Said his crew would be in the area Monday and that if we scheduled for the same day he'd cut us a deal. The amount he quoted us was very reasonable. I called him back a few hours later to schedule and he said he had a crew that just finished up in the area and he would send them over right away to get started for about an hour. Then they'd come out and finish Monday. 5 guys showed up at our house ten minutes later. A little later another truck of guys showed up. There were probably about 10 guys total working by the end. Exactly one hour later they had EVERYTHING done (which Jose said would probably take 2-3 hours). They were quick, efficient, and professional. Cleaned everything up and even found the net for our pool and cleaned all the debris out of the pool. We were very very very impressed with their service. These guys were amazing!! I have to go above and beyond with my review here because that is exactly what Luis and Shade Tree Arbor Care did for me. I called them, within half an hour Luis was at my property for an inspection and quote. The next morning they were in around 7:30am and done by noon. We cut three 50 plus foot pine trees and ground out about 15 large stumps throughout the property. Their level of professionalism is unmatched. They did the job for a great price, did exactly what was said, and cleaned up after themselves as if no one was there. All around perfection. Called their office, and was told someone would be by today. The office is closed and no one came by. Luis and his crew were excellent, it's just their collection of the money that needs help. I called Shade Tree Arbor Care on a Thursday after a lack of communication from a couple of other guys and their "companies" while trying to get a few estimates. Jose came out and gave us a great estimate the very next day (Friday). He offered to start the work that afternoon had we been available. I spoke with him again on Monday after we decided to go with them for our tree removal. We agreed to schedule the work to be done on Tuesday, and his crew was in the area Monday afternoon so they got started early. They removed 3 pine trees from our backyard, one of which was very large and extremely close to the house (and our neighbors' house). They worked for a couple hours Monday afternoon, and were on time Tuesday morning to finish the work, and were done, cleaned up, and gone by noon. Pricing was extremely reasonable and fair, and Jose gave us a discount for being in the area of another job they had. Everyone I spoke with from the receptionist to the workers were exceptionally courteous and professional. They did a great job with the work, and an awesome job cleaning up after. I can't say enough good things about them! We will use them again for sure, and highly recommend them to others! read more

I've written a review before but have to write another one. We have used Shade Tree Arbor twice before to trim our palm trees (Once when we moved in, and again just two months ago after the freeze). Unfortunately a few nights ago two of our towering palm tress (taller than our second story) snapped about a third of the way down and fell to their death in the middle of the night. Thank GOODNESS they fell away from our home and there was no damage. My husband was out of town and I was so worried that the tree would continue to break and end up hitting the house. I called Shade Tree Arbor and unfortunately they were booked for the next 5 days. After explaining my situation, the lady I was speaking with said she would call her boss and see what they could do. She called me back and that evening Jose came out to take a look. He remembered coming out just a few months prior to trim our trees, and I could tell that he genuinely felt my pain in having just paid to have the trees trimmed, and now having two of them die and fall while my husband was gone. Y'all. Jose cut us a GREAT deal AND sent a crew out the very next morning to get it done. He knew I was worried about all of it and at a loss of what to do without my husband here. This company truly cares about their customers and goes above and beyond to get the job done and to calm your worries. The crew did an amazing job and even cut a few extra limbs hanging off one of our pine trees. They cleaned up everything and left my yard looking great. I wish I could give this company more stars!!!!! Our representative was Jose Rodriguez, and he is absolutely exceptional!!!! My review is solely based on his kindness, professionalism, and amazing work! He truly went above and beyond for us, and we are so so so grateful for him! We were looking into redoing our fence which was completely falling apart due to a banana tree growing right in between our fence line which shifted the fence pockets and eventually they fell down. We called out a fence repair company and they told us we had to get the tree removed before they started work, and it had to be done from the roots up. After a little yelp search, I found this company with great reviews. We called, and they had someone(Jose) come out THE SAME day, within a two hour time frame of us calling them. Jose gave us a quote and said he would get started in an hour with the tree removal. We didn't think anything of it and went about our day, when he was done, we went to check out the work and see if any more fence pickets fell in the process and to our surprise, not only did the remove the tree we asked of him but also put back up the missing fence pickets that had fallen!!!!! We couldn't be anymore grateful for his hard work and kindness!!! The work he did, even with the tree, was amazing! There was no hole in the ground where the tree was removed, no trash, clipping, anything! You can't even tell that there was ever a tree there!!!! This company is amazing and so is Mr. Rodriguez!
