I love this Presbyterian office. The registration desk is hit or miss but having Tri-Core in house…read morefor labs is so convenient! It is not a big location and there is never a huge wait! I personally see Dr. Conlon as my internal medicine guy. He is thorough and personable. I have several rare conditions that I will deal with my entire life and I feel safe with him coordinating my care. There is ample seating space as well as a variety of options such as wider seats. They also have vending machines in case low blood sugar hits. There is a free water cooler as well. The nursing staff is top notch and responds quickly to messages via the online MyChart system. Today they even put me in another room that came available that Dr. Bagga wasn't using so Dr. Conlon could see patients more efficiently and Sarah, the MA, started my visit right away.

Who has access to my medical records?…read more Facility: Presbyterian healthcare NM Location: ?? Not sure. One of their many call centers. Date: 6/17/2025 thru 6/25/2025 Technician: Several women in several departments. Do you ever wonder who is accessing your medical record, why it is being done, when it is being done, is the information placed there accurate, and are your records secure? If you don't, you should be. Presbyterian has had three data breaches that I know of since 2019 that have compromised hundreds of thousands of their customers and employees personal, financial and medical records. I read online that at least one of the breaches originated within the ranks of Presbyterian employees. As a Presbyterian customer this has effected me three times. When this happens you get a "dear john" letter from them apologizing for the mishap, insisting that it was not their fault. They insist they are doing everything possible to prevent this and will continue to work to do so. Apparently, not exactly everything. There are basically two way scammers and hackers will profit from the loss of your precious information. One, they will sell it to other hackers who will then begin data mining your information until they get a match between your information and a source of funds such as a bank account. They can also use your information to steal your identity and purchase things or borrow money. Secondly, they will sell your personal information to other hackers who will use it to develop an accurate profile about you, and then use this information to blackmail you in some way. Sensitive medical records are prime targets for blackmail. We should all be able to access a provider's medical data base concerning our own records and be able to find out who has been allowed to see our records, when and why. I have made numerous attempts to get this information concerning my records. Over a week and a half I was bounced from one woman in one organization to another and back again with only the empty promise I would get an answer from the correct department. I spoke with people in Medical Records and Patient Relations. I spoke with Cecelia, Brenda and a supervisor Christy. In the end, Christy said "we can tell you when your records were accessed if you can give us a name"! My entire purpose in contacting these people was to have someone in their organization do a search for me for all persons and facilities that have accessed my records. She said "we don't know how to do that so it can't be done". This is ridiculous. Their My Chart software contains lines of data collected on everything I have asked for. I asked them to give me the number of their IT department so I could speak with them. They said that they will not do that. Where does this leave us? Actually at the mercy of Presbyterian's poorly trained employees that handle our data, and at the mercy of any hacker that gets that information. That's right friends, all of this information that we hold so dear is now in the public domain.

My daughter and I strive to gain a better footing of our relationship and we met with a counselor…read morename Annalyse: she was kind, but there was a perceived imbalance with her outlooks of our relationship that made our (3-4 sessions) success unattainable. Then (because we need more tools) we tried them again after the tension grew right back in a few months, with a new counselor Renea, AND the second session she wanted full trust from us (to share only my daughter's counselor; did not ask for mine and we had discussed that on the first session) regardless of having asked THE big question of why we started back again. That was a main talking point the first session so it was very manipulative to open our second session with the same question. After we answered she wanted to have conversations with only my daughter's primary counselor...but she had done NOTHING to build our trust...so my daughter asked to have a little time to build trust and the therapist said that she didn't trust her/my daughter. Wow, just wow. A counselor needs to show that they have interest and care; this one was wearing black boots and a black leather jacket (and carried them with attitude) and acted very shady asking the same questions from just a week prior. Then offers no support and actually stated that we should leave their practice. Is it me or are lots of people; including mental health professionals, just not wanting to work these days?!? Please save yourself and your family heartache and move on past this counseling practice. Evidently they pick and choose who to work with. We did not make the cut! Truly heart broken, confused, and insignificant to AFC, Desiree

She also would end sessions 10-15 min early and use her phone a lot during sessions which really just irked me. I took some time to cool off and thought okay it's just her... personality differences maybe she's just young and new. I went back again and had a new counselor who was quite honestly so much better but didn't really offer and constructive help. It was nice to vent and get it all out but I was looking for help and I didn't really get it here.
