While this was going to make my timeframes tight, he assured me the turnaround time once ordered would be fast. I had an appointment for 12:30 last Thursday. At 12:20, I see a sample book at the front door. I call the store and am told by the woman who answered that she sees my appointment on the schedule for 12:30. She tells me to call back and she won't answer and the call will go directly to Bob. By the time Bob and I talk, it's after 1:00 and he tells me he suddenly found out he doesn't have life insurance so he had to go directly home (how does this even happen--isn't a quick phone all it would take to address this?) and that we'd have to reschedule. On my doorbell camera, I see he was here at 11:00 to leave the sample book. Not sure why the 11:00 drop off was acceptable, but ringing the doorbell to come in and measure wasn't. He could not reschedule then from his home and I had to give up and start with another company, wasting weeks of time and making me miss my deadline. The second star is because he left the sample book, which came in handy for me to know exactly what I wanted to order when the new company came to measure.

I had Blinds 4 U come out and price the cost of replacing several blinds, including a very large one for our sliding glass doors at our back patio. Howard V.'s quote came in decidedly lower that that of a larger, better known/advertised shop. (And he showed up right-on-time, if not a bit early, to-boot!) I hired Howard and his people did a great job of installing all my new blinds. This past week I went to open the largest blinds at my sliding glass doors when the continuous line broke. Luckily, I had kept Howard's phone number and the paperwork about our 2015 installation in a file in my office. I called him hoping he and Blinds 4 U were still in business, given how many companies closed during Covid! Happily, he took my call and has ordered the replacement line. I look forward to his coming out to fix my blinds when the part comes in, and, getting a quote to replace a set of 20+ year-old vertical blinds in my master bathroom! DO NOT work with dishonest sales people at this store. The sales person has first tricked me into paying everything upfront. Upon first installation, the product came defective. The same product was sent back to be fixed the next 3 TIMES even when we were told by Aaron that they reordered a NEW piece and he has HIMSELF checked the product. The same old piece came back, with the same issue. No real credit or resolution was provided except that '$100 off your next order'.
