We used the indoor pool and jacuzzi. Workout room was nice with plenty of equipment. Room was clean and doors were secured. Felt safe at all times. Spa was open and accepting appts. Most of our party's dinner plates came with a trip to the salad bar however they seemed to have trouble keeping it stocked and once they would restock it would be out within minutes. The food was correct when brought our and the portions we're a good size. I had the catfish plate which had like 8 pieces of fish and two hush puppies and fries. I have noticed lots of poorly done or unfinished work in my room. None of it makes the room unusable, but more like an eye sore. There is a gym but there's not much there (elliptical, treadmill, fly machine, leg machine). There is not an ice machine on the grounds but I'm sure that's in the works. I overheard a few of the other guest complaints but that's for them to post. On a positive note, the staff seems to be super friendly. We called the front desk a few times and they were polite and accommodating. They do have washer and dryers available on site. In the rooms they have full size refrigerators as well as a mini fridge. Rooms come with cups, plates, and silverware which is great for those who need an extended stay. It's also right down the road from Ft Polk. I will say that this place has some potential depending on what management does to sort out their issues. Overall not a terrible ordeal.

There is a Asian message parlor next door and a excellent Thai restaurant a little bit farther in the next motel area. The staff were very polite and helpful. While not perfect, the service was excellent and the room was nice and clean. The bathrooms are huge and the room was nice. They have your basic tvs, fridges, etc. it's is most def worth the price, in my opinion. It is also next to a nice Thai restaurant that has good food. The only downfall is that it is in the middle of town and traffic can be horrible at times and if you want to drive a certain way you will have to wait a while. Not their fault, but that's the reality.
